Good day all. Yesterday, Barack Obama issued 23 executive orders regarding the suppression of the Second Amendment. However, most of these orders have nothing to do with his attempts to confiscate guns from law abiding citizens.
There are reports that Obama was going to issue orders banning guns, magazines that hold more then 10 rounds and probable confiscation orders, however Harry Reid said that those orders would fail and that there was no interest in the Senate to pass anything regarding gun bans. The threats of impeachment might have also caught Il Douche’s attention.
The Executive Orders deal primarily with mental health and keeping the nuts from getting guns. However, there are a few problems with them. First, they all seem to expand Obamacare’s control of the people. Second, some of them appear to violate the laws on privacy and doctor/patient privilege. Baen Author and candidate for World Dictator, Michael Z. Williamson wrote a blog post titled:

2. Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background check system.
So, abolish HIPAA? Because that’s exactly what it does in this case.
I have dealt with HIPAA peripherally in my Real World Job. Hospitals and doctors are very concerned when anything comes along that will compromise their patients privacy. One of the things that has come out is having doctors ask their patients if they own guns. The last time this was done, it was pediatricians asking children if Mommy or Daddy had a gun. When parents found out about that they hit the roof. Michelle Malkin wrote about this several years ago. If my doctor were to ask me about this, I wouldn’t answer. If they violated my privacy, my next call would be to a lawyer. To continue:
4. Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks.
In other words, tell him to do his job? And would this include NOT selling guns to Mexican drug lords?
One of the biggest gun crimes in recent history was Operation Fast&Furious. This is where the Obama regime allowed criminals to buy and smuggle thousands of guns into Mexico. This has resulted in the murders of 400 Mexican men, women and children and two United States federal agents. The coverup on this debacle continues to this day.
11. Nominate an ATF director.
Oh, right. You haven’t had one for several years. [Popeye voice] How embarassking! /Popeye voice
I wasn’t aware we didn’t have an ATF director. I’m not surprised the SCoaMF hasn’t nominated one. He was to busy wasting money on phony baloney green projects.
12. Provide law enforcement, first responders, and school officials with proper training for active shooter situations.
“You: Curl up in a ball in the corner and kiss your ass goodbye. You: set up a command post and have press releases ready about how bad guns are.”
I guess this means showing the teachers and school administrators how they might stop more bullets before dying thereby causing the psycho to hopefully run out of ammunition before he slaughters to many children.
16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.
So what? What exactly does asking someone about guns in their homes do? And as I read the 1st and 5th Amendments, I can tell the doctor to go fuck himself, or say nothing at all.
I mentioned this bit of nonsense earlier with a link to Michelle Malkin’s column. Most people despise the travesty known as Obamacare and if that dog eating jerk thinks I’m going to say anything about any firearms I may or may not have, he or she has another thing coming.
Read the entirety of Mr. Williamson’s post. He knows of what he speaks. I’ve conversed with him on a number of occasions and even had a mild disagreement with him over circumcision. (Actually there was no disagreement, only a misunderstanding we cleared up)
Now, the Republicans in Congress are rather angry with all these EO’s. They show that Obama has contempt for the separation of powers, the constitution and the rule of law, but we all know that already. The bans on firearms that this meathead wants are not going to make it through congress. The recent law rammed through the New York legislature is probably going to be hit with multiple court cases. (I know of one person personally who is already talking to a lawyer about this)
Now, another issue with Obama’s conference was the children he had with him. Supposedly, they all wrote him asking him to do something to take the guns away from people. There’s just a few small problems with this. First, these kids don’t know anything yet. That’s why they are in school. Second, I have very little doubt their teachers told them exactly what to write.
Now you may ask what evidence of this I may have. In my case, personal experience. When I was in school a long time ago, the Vietnam War was going on. I had a teacher who was, I know now, very left wing. He had all the students write letters to President Nixon protesting the war. Now, I only knew about the war in general from watching the news with my parents. I didn’t understand it or what was actually happening. Today I would not write that letter, and would probably complain to the administration.
The other thing about Obama surrounding himself with children was just how bad it looked. It isn’t just the Republicans and Fox News that say he looked bad, even the Obama Steno Pool said this was a very dumb idea. “Leaders” who surround themselves with the most innocent in our world, children, have historically been the worst sorts of tyrants. Here area few examples:
This brings up something else Der Fubar and the Progressive Liberals are completely missing. The actual reason the Second Amendment was written in the first place. It isn’t so that people can blow away Bambi or blast Donald Duck. It was meant as the final check on a government that becomes tyrannical.
Consider when the amendment was written. The United States, (Then referred to as “These United States), had just concluded a successful armed rebellion against the most powerful nation on Earth at the time. They started this rebellion against the lawful government of King George III because they considered his, and his parliament’s actions tyrannical. The shooting started when the British Army was sent out to collect the powder and shot, (That’s gunpowder and bullets for those of you in Rio Linda), and the colonists resisted…violently.
For the last month, since the tragedy at Sandy Hook,, the Left has been ramping up the demands for, in many cases, out right confiscation of all privately held guns. They have been insulting and outright threatening the National Rifle Association, it’s members and anyone who believes that the Second Amendment says what it means.
I was listening to Rush Limbaugh yesterday and towards the end of the program a woman called in. She talked about how the average gun store looks like it’s been hit by locusts. (My words) She also said that in talking to other people, one word has been coming up more and more in discussions about the federal government. The word is tyranny. She explained that more and more people are starting to consider Obama to be a tyrant who does not care about governing within the constitution. This ties in with another post I wrote and a quote from Bob Owens on the recent rush to buy guns and ammo:
“This isn’t a society stocking up on certain guns they fear may be banned. This is a society preparing for war.”
If people are beginning to see Obama and his government as tyrannical, we have a major problem. Obama and the Progressive Liberal Democrats aren’t doing anything to reverse this view people are starting to get. If anything, they are doubling down on their stupidity. Just the other day. New York rammed through a new gun ban law that makes 10’s of thousands of people criminals. Two weeks ago, they were law abiding citizens. The claim they made was “Keep people safe.” This is utter horse manure. The only people they want to keep safe are themselves. I suspect they see what their policies have done and what the end results will be. It will, more than likely, involve tar, feathers, rope and the nearest tree or lamp post. Their only hope to keep from becoming Christmas decorations is to make sure that the people do not have the means to remove them from office by force.
There’s just one problem with this idea. It isn’t going to work. People are staring to look at the Fourth box of Liberty and wondering if the time has come to open it. If that box is opened, the Obama regime will fall. The only question will be how bloody it will be.
