Democrats hate women

Good day all. As you have seen, the Progressive, Totalitarian Democrats have declared that the Second Amendment rights of Americans are to be revoked at the earliest opportunity. Furthermore, any use of a firearm, particularly by women is to be disallowed.

This is making a number of women rather angry, especially those who have been attacked by rapists. As I wrote about a couple of weeks ago, the Progressive Liberal Democrats in Colorado are terrified that a woman who is carrying a gun might actually shoot someone who is about to try and rape her. The basic response from the Democrats when people, especially women, say they need guns to protect themselves is, “Tough. Just lie back and enjoy it.”

Recently, a rape victim testified to the Colorado legislature, which is poised to strip the civil rights of gun owners, (Unconstitutionally, but they don’t care), on what she went through. Here are the details from The Blaze.

Rape survivor Amanda Collins bravely spoke about her horrific attack during a Monday legislative hearing concerning Colorado’s proposed ban on concealed firearms on college campuses. She explained how she wished she would’ve had a firearm to defend herself from her rapist, which could have possibly prevented the attack from occurring.

I hate rapists. As a man, I honestly can’t understand why some scumbag would force himself on a woman. When a lady says “No” that means no. You can whine, beg and plead, but you may NOT touch! No does NOT mean yes. So, what was the response to Ms. Collins?

After calling her story “unsettling,” Democratic state Sen. Evie Hudak quickly went after Collins, saying “actually, statistics are not on your side, even if you had a gun.”

State Senator, (Of Rapists), Hudak does not know of what she speaks. More on that in a moment. First, here is her rather insulting reply.

“You said that you were a martial arts student, I mean person, experienced in Tae Kwon Do, and yet because this individual was so large, was able to overcome you even with your skills, and chances are that if you had had a gun, then he would have been able to get that from you and possibly use it against you,” she added.

Let me give State Senator, (And aider of crimes against women), Hudak a few basic lessons in the martial arts. They are not like what you see in all those Kung Fu movies. I used to work with a man who was a black belt in Kung Fu. He once did a demonstration match with a member of the Navy SEALS. This man was not rated in the martial arts, he only knew what he and been taught in the course of his career in the military. He mopped the floor with my former coworker. How did he manage this? Simple really, it was the differences in training. Members of the military are taught that in hand to hand combat, you have, at most, 30 seconds to kill your opponent. People trained in the various martial arts are taught to use the minimum amount of force to stop the attacker.

Most scumbag rapists aren’t going to hold back when they attack a woman. If she throws a kick, even to the groin, the odds are her attacker is going to throw a punch right to her face or stomach or simply tackle her and pin her to the wall or ground. As a man, I will say a kick to the groin hurts. (No, I wasn’t attacking a woman, it was an accident during a sporting event) However, if in the course of a violent act, this happens, the scumbag rapist might not even feel it at first due to the adrenaline coursing through his system. He WILL lash out at his victim, and if he connects, she is probably going to be stunned long enough for the scumbag to press home his attack.

To continue with State Senator, (I honk for criminals) Hudak’s asinine statements:

Hudak claimed that for every one woman who used a handgun to kill someone in self-defense, 83 were murdered by them.

Hudak is either unaware of the actual statistics or she is a bald faced liar. I tend to believe the latter. Always handy with the facts, radio host Dana Loesch provides some data on firearms and self-defense:

According to the FBI, Americans use firearms in self defense 2.1 million times annually. Cases where firearms are used criminally amount to 579,000. Seventy percent of those cases are carried out by criminal repeat offenders. Barrett and Democrats would seek to punish those protecting themselves rather than the criminals.

There is a war on women, and it’s coming from the left to turn women into victims. Note this (bold my emphasis):

• In the vast majority of those self-defense cases, the citizen will only brandish the gun or fire a warning shot.
• In less than 8% of those self-defense cases will the citizen even wound his attacker.
• Over 1.9 million of those self-defense cases involve handguns.
• As many as 500,000 of those self-defense cases occur away from home.
• Almost 10% of those self-defense cases are women defending themselves against sexual assault or abuse.

Now you may have forgotten about this post I did almost two years ago. Basically, a woman coming out of the shower in her own home was attacked by a knife wielding scumbag. The tag line that came out of it? “I took my .22, and I shot him as much as I could.” The scumbag became worm food and the woman in question has moved on with her life. In State Senator Hudak’s world, that criminal will still be alive and his victim would either be dealing with the aftermath of the attack, or dead.

There is a video of Ms. Collins giving her testimony with the response from State Senator Hudak (Guns are scary to criminals, we must ban them so criminals will be safe).

At one point, you can see a visibly uncomfortable State Senator Ted Harvey responding to Ms. Collins. This is how he responded to Ms. Collins:

“What we are trying to do here tonight is not to protect ourselves from violent crime. What we are trying to do here tonight is prevent students and teachers from feeling uncomfortable by you carrying a gun to protect yourself,” Harvey said.

“Every witness that has come up here tonight, they want to feel unintimidated and feel free to debate freely on a college campus. And having you have the right to defend yourself against a violent attacker weighs more for them than for you and the right to self-defense. And for that, I apologize,” he added.

State Senator Ted Harvey is a Republican. In the last election, the Progressive Totalitarian Liberal Democrats accused the Republicans of being “Anti-women” and engaging in a “War on Women.” Would someone please explain to me how a Republican who wants women to have the means of protecting themselves? In any case, was Ms. Collins testimony effective with the Progressive Totalitarian Liberal Democrats?

Democrats were apparently unconvinced by Collins’ testimony and the Judiciary Committee approved the campus concealed carry ban along with six other gun control proposals. All seven gun control bills are scheduled to be debated on the Colorado Senate floor on Friday. Some of the other bills included, “assault weapons liability” (making “assault weapons” manufacturers and retailers responsible for crimes), a high-capacity magazine ban, required background check fees, gun restrictions for domestic violence offenders and universal background checks.

Obviously not. The Progressive Totalitarian Liberal Democrats are dead set on disarming the American people by any means required. These tone deaf tyrants have not been paying any attention to what gun owners have been saying for the last few months. They will not obey these unconstitutional laws, and they are now beginning to say, very quietly, they will resist and resist violently.

If I were the paranoid, conspiracy theory type, I would say that the Progressive Totalitarian Liberal Democrats around the country are actively pushing these measures so that some sort of incident will happen and they could have Obama declare martial law, suspend the constitution and send in federal troops and law enforcement to confiscate guns and round up anyone who opposes Obama and his minions.

Good thing I’m not a paranoid conspiracy theorist, isn’t it?
