Planning to buy ammo? You need anger management

Good day all. The Progressive Liberal Democrats never cease to amaze me with their levels of insanity, stupidity and utter contempt for the rights of others. In this case, some bone head in Florida has submitted a bill that will require people buying ammunition to undergo Anger Management courses.

This idiocy is now exploding over the Net, although you won’t see it on any of the Obama Steno Pool networks or periodicals. That leave Fox News:

A Florida legislator wants anyone trying to buy ammunition to complete an anger management program first, in what critics say is the latest example of local lawmakers reaching for constitutionally-dubious solutions to the problem of gun violence.

So who is this paradigm of moonbattery and what will it require if passed?

The bill filed Saturday by state Sen. Audrey Gibson, D-Jacksonville, would require a three-day waiting period for the sale of any firearm and the sale of ammunition to anyone who has not completed anger management courses. The proposal would require ammo buyers to take the anger management courses every 10 years.

“This is not about guns,” Gibson said. “This is about ammunition and not only for the safety of the general community, but also for the safety of law enforcement.”

In other words, this walking yeast infection is afraid she might get angry, go out, buy ammo and shoot up the state. Since this might happen to her, she assumes that it happens to everyone.

Gibson said she’s concerned with citizens stockpiling ammunition, potentially creating dangerous situations should those individuals ever come in contact with law enforcement agencies or criminals.

Ok now, a couple of things. What about angry police officers? As a certain former LAPD officer recently showed, we have a lot to worry from them. As to putting criminals in danger? Hello?!?! Earth To Moron! That’s the whole idea!

“It’s about getting people to think, really, about how much ammunition they need,” Gibson said. “It’s a step, I think, in a safer direction. It’s about getting people to think before they buy.”

I always think about the amount of ammo I need before I buy it. It’s expensive and I’m on a budget. As to how much I need? Consider this phrase. “I have way to much ammo, said absolutely no one ever.” People tend to buy a large amount of ammo, usually over a period of weeks, so they can go to the range and practice shooting. Most of the ammunition purchased is for that purpose. 22 caliber ammunition is usually sold in batches of 500 because it is so cheap and people go through so much of it.

Gibson insisted the bill is not “accusatory” toward gun and ammunition owners, but rather an effort to improve the safety of her community.

Pull the other finger you two legged worm, it has a bell on it.

Gibson first announced her intentions to introduce such legislation last month during a rally for Davis, saying “people are just not as patient as they used to be,” according to the Florida Times-Union.

“We see the rage on the road all the time,” she continued Wednesday. “People are just more impatient, I don’t know what it is.”

Hay stupid! I have news for you! Road rage happens quickly. You don’t get cut off, go bat guano nuts, run down to the local gun store, buy 2000 rounds of ammo and then chase down the nitwit in the Yugo who didn’t signal when he pulled in front of you. In those situations, that person already has the gun handy. To be honest, when something like that happens, the one in need of anger management usually comes out with a bat or a tire iron and the person they are going after is the one with the gun. My guess that detail will be corrected during the hearings. My guess is, two rounds! So what does the bill say?

“It is unlawful to: A) Sell ammunition to another person who does not present certification that he or she has successfully completed an anger-management program consisting of at least 2 hours of online or face-to-face instruction in anger-management techniques,” the bill reads. “The certification must be renewed every 10 years. B) Purchase or otherwise obtain ammunition by fraud, false pretense, or false representation.”

Those in violation of the bill, if passed, would face a second-degree misdemeanor charge. Anyone found in violation a second time within a year of a prior conviction would face a first-degree misdemeanor charge.

Why do I have a feeling that this bimbo watched Demolition Man once to often and though that the Cocteau Plan1 was a good idea. The good news is, Bambi Bugbrains seems to be the only one who does think this is a good idea.

Critics of the bill, however, derided the legislation as “absolutely ridiculous” and suggested that Gibson take a course on the U.S. Constitution.

“When I first saw it, I thought it had to be a joke,” said Sean Caranna, executive director of Florida Carry, a nonprofit group championing the right to bear arms. “They’re trying to say that anyone who owns a gun or shoots a gun or has ammunition for it needs counseling and obviously has some anger problems.”

Mr. Caranna, the Progressive Liberal Democrats DO think that anyone who wants a gun is mentally ill and in need of therapy.

Caranna said he was disappointed that Gibson wasted her time on the bill instead of focusing on other issues like jobs or the state’s rate of foreclosures, which is the highest in the nation.

“We’ve got a lot of issues that should be the focus of these bill slots with limited filing, but instead we put in something as ridiculous as this,” he said. “I don’t see a planet where this passes. This is an attempt to grab attention – it has to be. And that’s really disappointing.”

Mr. Caranna, you must know by now that the goal of all Progressive Liberal Democrats is to totally disarm the American People. How else will they be able to do away with those pesky “Freedom,” “Liberty” and “Individual Rights” thing? After all, everyone knows that people can’t be trusted to do the right thing or make their own decisions. That’s what the Progressive Liberal Democrat Elite is for.

Jon Gutmacher, an Orlando attorney and author of “Florida Firearms: Law, Use & Ownership,” told FoxNews.com that the bill would almost certainly be found to be unconstitutional based on prior restraint.

“It has no reasonable relationship to anything,” he said. “There has to be a reasonable basis to believe that a person had a substantial anger problem that could cause public harm.”

Since when has the Constitution had anything to do with Progressive Liberal Democrats? It’s just an old, obsolete document2 that’s to difficult for people to understand3.

Gutmacher said he found the bill to be an “insult” to any gun owner in the Sunshine State.

“It’s absurd on its face,” he continued. “And anyone who proposes that legislation is in my mind unfit for the legislature because it shows a basic problem with their thinking process, aside from their lack of understanding of what the Constitution is all about. That’s the kind of bill that doesn’t even get past committee.”

Once again, Mr. Gutmacher, you’ve missed the point. The Progressive Liberal Democrats don’t give a rats ass about the Constitution. It gets in their way and they have been working since at least the Wilson Administration4 to abolish it so they can rule by decree and do away with things like free speech, freedom of expression, property rights, and judicial review5. They know that an armed citizenry prevents them from achieving their goal of an American Progressive Liberal Utopia.

Most Americans hold the Progressive Liberal Elite in utter contempt. Deep down, The Progressive Liberal Democrat Elite knows this. They understand that it won’t take much for the people to say “That’s it! You’ve gone to far. Where’s the tar, feathers and rope? We have some house cleaning to do!” This bill by Audrey Gibson is a classic case. We’re seeing this from all the Progressive Liberal Democrats around the country. They have run the country into the ground, the people now consider the Federal Government to be a threat to them6 and sales of guns and ammunition have skyrocked.

Now if you will excuse me, I’m feeling a bit angry now and I need to go buy some ammo. I have to engage in my version of anger management. Blowing holes in paper targets.

Thatisall
