World Health Organization in the tank for China

Good day all, adding to my “Wall to wall” coverage of the “Great Panicdemic of 2020,” I’ve found a few interesting tidbits. Things like the Centers for Disease Control and the Food and Drug Administration screwing up by the numbers early on. Then we have the World health Organization, (WHO), and how they minimized the China Flu.

As we now know, the China Flu started in Wuhan, China sometime last fall. Rather then work to contain it, the Chinese government decided to, once again, cover everything up, including arresting the doctors who first reported the issue when it could have been easily fixed.

As things started getting worse, The World Health Organization started praising China’s government on their handling of this virus. Now, people are starting to look at just how close the head of WHO, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesusa is to the Chinese President. Here are some of the details from Fox News:

The World Health Organization’s director-general kicked off his Friday, (March 20th), by praising China’s efforts to contain and control the coronavirus.

In an early-morning tweet, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus applauded Beijing for its handling of the global pandemic, which China is largely blamed for spreading.

“For the first time, #China has reported no domestic #COVID19 cases yesterday. This is an amazing achievement, which gives us all reassurance that the #coronavirus can be beaten,” Tedros tweeted

The Chinese government, once the Chinese Flu jumped to other countries, couldn’t hide the outbreak any longer. It was at this point they started their quarantine procedures and basically shut down China for a good month. However, this isn’t the issue. The problem is the very close relationship between the head of WHO and President Xi.

On its surface, the praise seems harmless enough.

It is encouraging that the world’s most populous country– ground zero of the crisis– has reported no new cases of the deadly disease. But a deeper dive into the cozy and symbiotic relationship between Tedros and Chinese President Xi Jinping has some crying foul.

That would be Taiwan for a start. They spotted the outbreak back in December, 2019, and tried to alert the World Health Organization. However, those warnings were ignored. Here a re a few details on that debacle from the Daily Caller:

Taiwan is blaming the World Health Organization’s relationship with China for its failure to act on early warnings of human-to-human transmission of coronavirus. Taiwanese health officials alerted WHO of the infectivity of coronavirus in late December 2019, but the organization failed to report the claims to other countries, according to a Financial Times report.

Weeks after receiving Taiwan’s warning, on Jan. 14, WHO repeated China’s claim that coronavirus was not contagious among humans.

Taiwan reported its concerns to a WHO framework called the International Health Regulations on Dec. 31, 2019. The IHR framework is intended to be an exchange of epidemic data between 196 countries.

While the IHR’s internal website provides a platform for all countries to share information on the epidemic and their response, none of the information shared by our country’s [Centers for Disease Control] is being put up there,” Taiwanese Vice President Chen Chien-Jen told the Financial Times.

The WHO could not obtain first-hand information to study and judge whether there was human-to-human transmission of COVID-10. This led it to announce human-to-human transmission with a delay, and an opportunity to raise the alert level both in China and the wider world was lost,” Chen added.

There are a number of reasons why the warning from Taiwan was ignored. The biggest one is that the People’s Republic of China considers Taiwan to be their property. They have been threatening to invade the country since Mao and the communists took over China after World War 2.

Taiwan has had a model response to the coronavirus crisis. Despite being situated just 140 miles off the Chinese coast, Taiwan has had only 135 confirmed cases of the virus and two deaths, according to John Hopkins University.

However, Taiwan has become largely locked out of international institutions as communist China’s influence around the world has grown.

Taiwan was excluded from an emergency committee convened by the WHO on Jan. 21 to determine whether the coronavirus outbreak would grow into an international crisis due to Chinese pressure to keep Taiwan from participating in international organizations, according to a report by Foreign Policy.

This exclusion by the World Health Organization isn’t at all surprising. WHO is a UN based organization and as such, suffers from that entity’s systemic corruption and political ideology. In most cases, people who are put in charge of these organizations, such as WHO, are chosen for things other then competence. Returning to the original Fox Story:

On March 11, the WHO finally declared the coronavirus a global pandemic. While some praised the move, others like Bradley Thayer, a political science professor at the University of Texas, San Antonio, and Lianchao Han, the vice president of Citizen Power Initiatives for China, questioned why the WHO and its director-general waited so long when health officials from various governments alerted them to the widespread devastation weeks in advance.

Oh I think we know the answer to this, but I’ll let the experts tell you.

Thayer and Han have accused Tedros of turning “a blind eye to what happened in Wuhan and the rest of China” and after meeting with President Xi Jinping in January, helping him suppress the “severity, prevalence and scope of the COVID-19 outbreak.”

As much of the world puts emergency plans in place, China has emerged – through their own aggressive public relations campaign aided by Tedros — an international hero offering aid to countries desperate for help.

China has been engaged in a full court press on the propaganda front, with the aid of Tedros and our very own Mostly Stupid Media. Unfortunately for China, WHO and the Democratic CommuNazi Propaganda Ministry, most Americans aren’t buying it.

The problem is that China’s complacency at the beginning of the outbreak helped create the crisis. The WHO accelerated it.

China and the United States have been trading jabs for days over who is to blame for COVID-19.

On Friday, State Department spokeswoman Morgan Ortagus tweeted that by Jan. 3, “Chinese authorities had already ordered #COVID19 virus samples destroyed, silenced Wuhan doctors, and censored public concerns online.” She added, “@SpokespersonCHN is right: This is a timeline the world must absolutely scrutinize.”

Her comments came after Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hua Chunying tweeted that America was hellbent on blaming China.

Well, the last time I looked, Wuhan is inside China, and that is where the China flu started.

Hua slammed the United States, taunted the State Department and accused Secretary of State Mike Pompeo of lying on Fox News when he claimed China had allowed thousands of people to leave Wuhan and travel to places like Italy. To prove their point, China cited the WHO.

“Stop lying through your teeth! As WHO experts said, China’s efforts averted hundreds of thousands of infection cases,” the spokesperson tweeted.

The China flu was well under way when the Chinese New Year celebrations started. Basically, this is a month long party, and people travel home and take time off to travel abroad. Many of those people were infected but not showing any symptoms. (We can’t blame the individual Chinese travelers, had they known, most of them probably wold have stayed home. That they didn’t know can be laid at the doorstop of the Chinese Government and the World Health Organization)

Through it all, Tedros has defended China.

“When he should have been focusing on global counter-pandemic efforts, Tedros instead was politicizing the crisis and helping Xi to shirk his responsibility for a series of wrongdoings in addressing the outbreak,” Thayer and Han wrote in an opinion piece.

The duo also accuse Tedros of using the WHO platform to “defend the Chinese government’s gross violation of human rights.”

Ouch! That one is going to hit home once the Panicdemic dies down and we can start looking into who screwed up and where.

As China knowingly misled the world, Tedros publicly praised the country for its “transparency.”

As to why Tedros and the World Health Organization covered up the Chinese government’s responses to the China Flu, it can be laid down to one, simple thing. Money. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus is Ethiopian and China has basically started colonizing the country, one mega-project at a time.

For more than a decade, Ethiopia’s economy has been largely dependent on China. Beijing has shelled out hundreds of millions of dollars for mega-projects including a new $160 million national sports stadium in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s largest city and capital.

If that isn’t a massive conflict of interest, I don’t know what is. This clown is not a doctor and prior to “Being elected to the position” in 2017, had minimal experience in Global health matters, has made some serious blunders and is very good at self promotion. When stories came out about corruption, Tedros issued a statement praising himself on fixing the problems.

The self-praise had some critics rolling their eyes and wondering if the WHO, under Tedros’ leadership, could be trusted to effectively investigate itself. They also questioned his loyalty to China and how that could top what might be best for the rest of the world.

The fact is, this bozo is just your typical Turn World UN Kleptocrat. Rather then embezzling funds, he’s been kowtowing to China, giving them whatever cover they needed, all to keep the money flowing into Ethiopia. However, it looks like his days may be numbered.

Thayer and Han say the writing’s on the wall.

“The coronavirus pandemic has shown that Tedros is not fit to lead the WHO,” they said. “Because of his leadership, the world may have missed a critical window to halt the pandemic or mitigate its virulence.

“The world is now battling rising infections and many countries have imposed restrictions. As leader of the WHO, Tedros should be held accountable for his role in mismanaging efforts to control the spread of the virus.”

This is a United Nations organization. Ever since the politically correct twits from Europe and the United States started handing critical functions over to the tender mercies of the Turd World, the entire ball of wax has become a joke. Tedros will probably be forced out by the end of the year. However, I don’t think his replacement is going to be any betters. As for China? They had their chance and now President Trump is going to really put the screws to them.

He’s going to push even harder to get regulations and tax laws changed that sent all of our heavy industry to China, including our pharmacological manufacturing. President Xi, rather then understanding that things have changed, and working to make life better for the people he’s supposed to be governing, is going to make things far worse. It’s not impossible that he will lose the “Mandate of Heaven.” If that happens, he’s going to join Tedros on the unemployment line.
