Obama screws America, Part 134

Good day all. I would have posted this yesterday, but we were blacked out in protest to the morons in Congress trying to censor the Internet. In any case, the Tyrant Obama has done it again. He has stopped a major oil pipeline coming in from Canada from being built.

The pipeline, known as the Keystone Pipeline, was meant to ship oil from the Canadian tar sands down to American refineries and from their into the welcoming gas tanks of American drivers everywhere. There was opposition to the pipeline from the usual suspects, (That would be moonbats, Marxist Left-wing anti-American Environmentalist whacko’s, etc), but this pipeline would have created directly or indirectly ten’s of thousands of jobs.¹

Obama and his minions, bent on the destruction of the United States, would have none of it.

Here are a few snippets from the National Journal:

In a decision that quickly re-ignited a fierce energy debate, the Obama administration on Wednesday rejected the controversial Keystone XL pipeline because the 60-day deadline imposed by Republicans did not allow adequate time to review an alternate route through an ecologically sensitive area in Nebraska.

And this is utter BOVINE DROPPINGS! Everyone has been looking at this pipeline for a few years now. The only reason Jug Ears did this was to screw over people who actually work as opposed to those who live on trust funds or government handouts.

Put more simply, the Obama administration hit back at Republicans by saying no because of their forcing him to decide on the project in just 60 days. Republicans in Congress and on the campaign trail promptly painted the decision as a rejection of thousands of American jobs purely for political reasons.

As we all know, the only decisions King Obama likes to make are what club to use on the golf course and how he wants his Wagyu² steak cooked. As expected, the Republicans responded immediately.

A spokesman for House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, decried the news. “President Obama is about to destroy tens of thousands of American jobs and sell American energy security to the Chinese,” said Brendan Buck. “The president won’t stand up to his political base even to create American jobs. This is not the end of this fight.”

To top all this off, Obama had the nerve to channel San Fran Nan Pelosi and say that unemployment benefits would generate more jobs than the pipeline. From the Washington Examiner:

President Obama said that he will delay his vacation and keep Congress in session until the passage of his desired payroll tax cut and unemployment benefits extension — two proposals that Obama said would create more jobs than the Keystone XL pipeline that his administration recently delayed.

“However many jobs might be generated by a Keystone pipeline,” he said, “they’re going to be a lot fewer than the jobs that are created by extending the payroll tax cut and extending unemployment insurance.”

Once again we see Obama’s mastery of economics. Actually we see his complete lack of mastery of economics. Obama is a Marxist and continues to prove it with each and every one of these destructive decisions he makes.

Many people have said that Obama and the Democrats can’t be doing all this on purpose, that the wouldn’t really want to destroy the United States. Personally, I don’t think they so much want to destroy this country as to turn it into the new Soviet Union ruled by the Elites. (That would be the over-educated trust fund twerps who have never done an honest days work in their lives)
