The Three Witches put in an appearance

Good day all, it seems that the Three Witches from Shakespeare’s play, Macbeth¹ have put in an appearance and are demanding the FCC suppress Rush Limbaugh.

I didn’t see this yesterday since I generally ignore CNN, but it seems that Jane Fonda, Gloria Steinem and Robin Morgan are demanding that the FCC remove Rush Limbaugh from the airwaves. These three harpies² posted an editorial on CNN.com listing all the “Hate Speech” Rush has apparently used over the years. Like all liberals, anyone who says anything they disagree with is evil hate speech and should be shut down. The First Amendment? Meaningless in their eyes.

So, what did the Weird Sisters³ have to say?

Ironically, the misogyny Rush Limbaugh spewed for three days over Sandra Fluke was not much worse than his regular broadcast of sexist, racist and homophobic hate speech:

And we’re off to a good start from these dried up old moonbats.

–Women cabinet members are “Sex-retaries.”

--”The NAACP should have riot rehearsal. They should get a liquor store and practice robberies.”

–The National Organization for Women is “a bunch of whores to liberalism.”

–[Said to an African American female caller]: “Take that bone out of your nose and call me back.”

These are just a few samples from the arsenal of degrading language Limbaugh deploys on women, people of color, lesbians and gays, immigrants, the disabled, the elderly, Muslims, Jews, veterans, environmentalists and so forth.

Looks like they got their documentation from Media Matters, an organization well known for their balance and objectivity. (That was sarcasm in case you missed it) The editorial continues on in this vein listing all the things they hate about Rush Limbaugh. Then we get to what they really want.

They state, “Our entire military depends on troops respecting each other — women and men. There simply can be no place on military airwaves for sentiments that would undermine that respect.”

That makes this a fitting time to inquire of his syndicator, Clear Channel Communications, whether it intends to continue supporting someone who addicts his audience to regular doses of hate speech. Clear Channel’s Premiere Radio Networks Inc., which hosts Limbaugh’s program, has defended his recent comments.

If Clear Channel won’t clean up its airways, then surely it’s time for the public to ask the FCC a basic question: Are the stations carrying Limbaugh’s show in fact using their licenses “in the public interest?”

Spectrum is a scarce government resource. Radio broadcasters are obligated to act in the public interest and serve their respective communities of license. In keeping with this obligation, individual radio listeners may complain to the FCC that Limbaugh’s radio station (and those syndicating his show) are not acting in the public interest or serving their respective communities of license by permitting such dehumanizing speech.

The FCC takes such complaints into consideration when stations file for license renewal. For local listeners near a station that carries Limbaugh’s show, there is plenty of evidence to bring to the FCC that their station isn’t carrying out its public interest obligation. Complaints can be registered under the broadcast category of the FCC website:http://www.fcc.gov/complaints

And there you see what they want. Suppression of anyone who won’t to the politically correct Progressive Liberal line. These cows deny this of course.

This isn’t political. While we disagree with Limbaugh’s politics, what’s at stake is the fallout of a society tolerating toxic, hate-inciting speech. For 20 years, Limbaugh has hidden behind the First Amendment, or else claimed he’s really “doing humor” or “entertainment.” He is indeed constitutionally entitled to his opinions, but he is not constitutionally entitled to the people’s airways. It’s time for the public to take back our broadcast resources. Limbaugh has had decades to fix his show. Now it’s up to us.

Actually, no it isn’t. What you are seeing is the typical Progressive Liberal double standard. Since Rush doesn’t toe the Politically Correct line, he needs to be destroyed. Do you think these useless old hags are going to do anything about people like Ed Schultz⁴ or Bill Maher⁵, both of whom are notorious for denigrating conservative women? Of Course not! Schultz and Maher are part of the Liberal Progressive elite and are therefore protected. The hypocrisy of Liberals is is on full demonstration with these three.

Now, lets take a look at them starting with Comrade Jane Fonda.

Jane Fonda is also known as Hanoi Jane for her antics in North Vietnam during the war. She took to the airwaves and broadcast nothing less than a propaganda speech in favor of the Communist North. She topped this by having her picture taken on a fully functioning Antiaircraft gun that was used to knock down American fighters and bombers. When she returned from a visit in 1972, she stated:

That all of the American Prisoners of War were being well treated and were not being tortured.

This, of course, was a lie. When the POW’s started returning, they told about how they were tortured by the Communists. Fonda’s reaction to this?

Jane Fonda, in her response to these new allegations, referred to the returning POWs as being “hypocrites and liars.”

Gloria Steinem is a well known “Feminist Activist” and all around man hater. I won’t go into all the things she’s been wrong on, that would be a multivolume tome all by its self. I’ll let you read up on her. Now as to Robin Morgan, frankly I have never heard of her. I had to break out the old Google-fu and look her up. It seems she was a child actor in the 40’s and 50’s and then became a radical “feminazi⁶” in the 60’s and onwards. In other words, another has been looking for another 15 minutes of fame. You can read more about this moonbat on Wikipedia and dig into her history on your own.

Frankly, I’m not to worried about the FCC forcing Rush Limbaugh off the air. That would open a can of worms that Obama really doesn’t need. It would make his current fight with the Catholic Church look like a walk in the park. If the FCC forced Rush off the air, this would open a line of attack by the Republicans on the Democrats and Obama that would probably finish them as a political party. It would go something like this:

“Rush Limbaugh was forced off the air by Obama’s FCC. Why? They didn’t like what he had to say. Obama and the Democrats have just demonstrated that the Constitutional right of free speech means nothing to them. It’s time to remove these people from office. Vote Republican in November.”

Yep, that’s a headache the Communists Progressive Liberal Democrats don’t need right now. Personally, I think we should use this against them anyway. It will be interesting to hear what Rush has to say next week.
