No, I don’t and apparently the ScoaMF’s equally inept campaign has flushed it down the memory hole. I really don’t see why. Der Fubar’s campaign manager, Jim Messina went to Los Angeles and sought out some of the Smartest People In The World to advise him.
One of these high powered Superduper members of the Left Wing Elite that Messina spoke with was Steven Spielberg. This makes sense considering his recent string of massive hits he’s had of late. You know, films like:
- War Horse
- Indiana Jones 4
- The Adventures of TinTin
- Munich
Oh wait, those weren’t smash hits, were they? If I recall correctly, they were pretty much big, expensive flops. (Although I did like Indiana Jones 4. Not great, but ok) Apparently no one mentioned this to Messina when he spent 3 HOURS listening to that great political mind named Spielberg. Here are a few details from Bloomberg Businessweek By Joshua Green:
At DreamWorks Studios, Steven Spielberg spent three hours explaining how to capture an audience’s attention and offered a number of ideas that will be rolled out before Election Day. An early example of Spielberg’s influence is RomneyEconomics.com, a website designed by the Obama team to tell the story—a horror story, by their reckoning—of Mitt Romney’s career at Bain Capital. Afterward, Spielberg insisted that Messina sit down with the DreamWorks marketing team. Hollywood movie studios are expert, as presidential campaigns also must be, at spending huge sums over a few weeks to reach and motivate millions of Americans.
What we have here is a bunch of super rich elitists who really don’t have a clue anymore about how people live in this country. They fly off on their private jets, hobnobbing with the elites of Europe and tell everyone else how they should live.
Funny thing about the Bain attack ads that Spielberg came up with. They aren’t running any longer. It isn’t that the run was completed, they were pulled. According to Breitbart:
Obama campaign advisor Jim Messina took the meeting and is adamant the Bain attacks worked, but then I’d like to know why the Bain attacks have stopped cold?
If something works, you keep doing it, correct? Of course you do! Look what happened last week when Obama made the mistake of saying something not put in front of him by the TelePrompTer in Chief. You remember, don’t you? He said that “The private sector was doing fine.” That bit of stupidity by Der Fubar is still running around the Internet and you know that there will be a large number of ads by the Mittens for President committee with this and other gems by this massive SCoaMF.
As we all know, the Bain Capital attacks against Romney failed miserably. There were a few reasons for this. One, the closing of the steel mill by Bain that was used to show how evil they were happened 2 years after Mittens left the company. It also came out that Bain actually kept the mill opened when it had been scheduled to shut down by the original owners. Another reason it failed was the list of companies that Romney helped get started or turned around. It far exceeded the ones that failed.
Now Der Fubar has destroyed 100’s of thousands of jobs and done all he can to prevent new ones from being created. The most recent idiocy was the Keystone XL Pipeline coming from Canada to The U.S. It would have created at least 20,000 mew jobs. He stopped it because his rich moonbat doners wanted it stopped. For instance:
Earlier this year, Susie Buell Tompkins, John Kerry’s fourth-biggest money-raiser in 2004, picketed outside an Obama fundraiser at San Francisco’s W Hotel to protest the pipeline. She wanted Obama’s State Department to block it because she thinks tar-sands production hurts the environment and the planet.
Obama wants her money so he will listen to her, not to the hoi palloi in flyover country. The minions and yes-men, (and women), he surrounds himself with are just as bad. They are totally delusional and can’t see that the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming freight train. Well they’re going get run over in November, and I think it’s our duty to make sure the locomotive is in good shape.
It will also be interesting to see how many of the Hollywood left announce that they will leave the United States if Obama loses in November. My guess is quite a few and if past history is any guide, the number who actually leave will number in the zero’s.
Of course, it’s all about saying the right things, not actually going out and doing anything, like, you know, making a good movie that people actually want to watch? You know, like this one:
Remember in November!
