Music Haters

What really makes me angry is people who bash rap music. If you don't like rap, fine but I find it to be a bit irritating that some people can be so closed minded that they fail to see the creativity in it,based on what they saw on one video on MTV or BET...I grant you that is crap but contrary to popular belief some of it is not degrading to women,nor is it "devoid of originality",and a lot of it makes a statement just like the "hippie rock" did in the 60's and early 70's did. So people open your ears and your mind,and who knows you just might like it,and if you don't you can at least say you tried. So don't just dismiss it as just meaningless noise because it is music just like R&B,Metal or whatever else you maybe into.

I am so damn angry with all the old school idiots who feel the need to put down the music I listen to. I have an uncle who I work for who has this exact problem. Hes like 58 and anytime down at the shop and I have the radio on the local hip-hop or alternative station, he has the need to bash it, calling it "longhair hippie rock" It's not longhair music, you fucking dolt, It's "alternative" or "metal". And besides, it's not the 1970's anymore, it's the friggin' 21st century you fuckin moron. And he has the nerve to slam hip-hop, calling it "fag" music. I really don't give a flying fuck what he thinks about my music, I will listen to this "longhair" music as much as I fucking want to, and 'm not going to let Archie Bunker get in my way. And if he does, i'm going to tell him to fuck off and give him the finger. I think he thinks its free to bash rock music is because he got it from my grandfather, who clearly looked the kind to hate "hippie rock" and he sits on his fucking can all day listening to that "talk radio" shit. Well face it bud, i'm not going to let your bigoted opinion stop me. So step off bitch. I can't wait till I get out of college and get a "real" job, not stuck down there mowing your fucking grass or washing the motherfucking trailers in the middle of fucking July. As soon as I get out of school, i'm giving you the big "fuck you", biatch!

these people hate Roy Orbison and the Beatles and the Mamas and the Papas and the Doors, and basically any other DECENT music. The 60s was the GOLDEN AGE OF ROCK AND ROLL. Maybe it was just that rock was so new, or the Vietnam war, or so much crap was going on that inspired people, but the 60s produced some of the best music known to mankind. And then like forty years later, some little teeny-bopper with the black clothes, paper white face, chains, spikes, studs, "I hate my life" "my parents suck" "life sucks" bullshit, has the nerve to say that music from that era sucks! ok, I'm sorry that it actually uses RHYTHM and HARMONY, the TWO BASIC PRINCIPLES OF MUSIC, and doesn't have any screaming or death, violence, guitar chords that don't exist or any of the moshpit crap. God I hate death metal more than rap. Have you heard the My Chemical Romance song Helena? For god sakes, the rhythm was SO OFF IT WASN'T FUNNY. and then these people say crap like "we don't have to conform to your standard of music" or blahblahblah, like I'm some kind of music dictator. 1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4. beats. rhythm. not 1-2-3, 1-2-3-4-5, 1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4-5-6-7. THATS NOT THE FUCKING WAY IT WORKS! At least rap has rhythm if it doesn't have substance.
