Good day all. Since Donald Trump became the President, and began the process of Making America Great Again, many progressives bot inside and outside the United States have been screaming to the high heavens. Now the Secretary-General of the United Nations has added his two cents to the mix.
President Trump seems to have the same basic disdain for the United Nations that most Americans have. A corrupt organization that exists only to take care of the Progressive class around the world. Since President Trump is essentially ignoring the UN, which is carrying over to how United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley browbeats the corruptocrats, the Secretary-General has decided to issue a warning. Here are the details from WTOP:
Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned the Trump administration on Tuesday that if the United States disengages from many issues confronting the international community it will be replaced — and that won’t be good for America or for the world.
Oh really? How so?
Guterres made clear to reporters at his first press conference here since taking the reins of the United Nations on Jan. 1 that proposed cuts in U.S. funding for the U.N. would be disastrous and create “an unsolvable problem to the management of the U.N.”
And what would that unsolvable problem be pray tell? I would say it’s safe to say that the looting of the American taxpayers for the enrichment of some 3rd world despot is what this jerk is talking about. So what’s this worthless walking turd going to do about it?
But the U.N. chief stressed that he is not afraid to stand up to President Donald Trump, citing his vocal opposition to the U.S. leader’s withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement. He said the mobilization of U.S. business and civil society in support or the climate deal is “a signal of hope that we very much encourage.”
Care to guess how that’s working out for those companies? Allow me to give you a hint. It isn’t. Every single one of them is either run by a pack of barking moonbats with no grasp on reality, or the companies in question had their snouts firmly planted in the federal Money Trough, and that’s being cut off. As for the rest of America? They’re basically saying:
Looking at the array of global crises, Guterres expressed concern that there could be a direct confrontation between the United States and Russia over Syria and urged a de-escalation of the dispute between Washington and Moscow over the U.S. downing of a Syrian jet.
No one’s arguing that, which is why the Trump Administration is talking to Russia directly and not bothering with you. Oh, that’s the problem isn’t it? Trump and Putin are ignoring you.
The U.N. chief said he has been actively involved in trying to promote “effective mediation” in a large number of global conflicts including South Sudan, Congo, Central African Republic, Syria, Libya and more recently Afghanistan and Cyprus.
And how’s that working out for you? Oh wait! I know. It isn’t working. Why is that? Because the United Nations hasn’t been relevant since the 1960’s at best.
He reiterated, however, that he thought the most likely successful mediation of the dispute between Qatar and Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries should be regional like the current effort led by Kuwait.
To which I say, “Who cares?” The United States is looking at pulling out of the region with the exception of Israel. We don’t need the oil states any longer and if they want to rip themselves apart, let them.
He also said the U.N. has not taken any initiative in mediation of the North Korean nuclear dispute, leaving the effort at the moment to the Security Council.
“We know that there are important talks taking place by different countries that have leverage and influence in relation to the countries in the region,” Guterres said.
The reason the United Nations isn’t taking “The initiative” with regards to the Korean Peninsula is simple. No one cares what the UN thinks. This is something that is being worked on by the Trump Administration with input from South Korea, China, Japan and a few other locals, all of whom would be affected if that fat twerp decides to do something really stupid. Fallout doesn’t recognize national borders.
The secretary-general, who served as U.N. high commissioner for refugees for 10 years, chose World Refugee Day for the press conference and appealed to all U.N. member states not to refuse entry to those seeking asylum and deserving protection.
Watch us. We’ve seen how your policies have all but destroyed Europe, and we are not going to let it happen here.
He also urged rich countries to do much more to support the 80 percent of the world’s refugees living in the developing world — and to increase the number of refugees they will give new homes to.
How about…No!
The United States is “by far the largest resettlement country in the world” with a “very generous and positive policy,” Guterres said.
Wrong. The United States is a country built by immigrants, with the operative word being, “Built.” The trash trying to get in now has no intention of assimilating into American culture, and only wants all the freebies we give out. People willing to come to America, work hard, learn English to the best of their abilities, and try to assimilate are always welcome. The rest? They can stay in the third world hellholes they’ve created for themselves.
But Trump is moving to significantly reduce the number of refugees allowed to enter the United States, even as his bid to temporarily suspend admissions is stalled in the courts. His budget proposal calls for a 25 percent cut in funds for resettling refugees on American soil.
Those court ruling were all made by Obama judges or other progressive judicial tyrants and literally is an outright power grab. These black robed tyrants will be singing a different tune if we get hit by another massive terrorist attack and it’s due directly to their rulings. They will be lucky to escape the death penalty.
Guterres said he has strongly encouraged the United States “to come back to the levels of resettlement that we witnessed until two or three years ago.”
Again, no. The scumbag who was president then is gone now and won’t be back. The damage he and his minions did will take decades to repair. The current President is not going to care one wit what you want.
The secretary-general announced that he plans to visit Washington soon to engage “positively and constructively” with members of Congress on the need for the United States as the largest contributor to U.N. budgets to maintain support for the 193-member world organization.
So now you’re just another lobbyist with his hand out? Drop dead.
Asked about a new world order sparked by the Trump administration’s actions, Guterres said: “I believe that if the United States disengages in relation of many aspects of foreign policy and many of international relations, it will be unavoidable that other actors will occupy that space.”
Like who? Zimbabwe? Let me explain this to you stupid. Most Americans want the United States out of the UN and the UN out of the United States. If I had my way, the UN would be kicked out of the United States tomorrow. For now, I think American interests would best be served by ignoring this walking diaper stain, and closing our federal check book.
