Good day all. Once again, Nancy Pelosi shows the world that she is a totally out of touch, rich Limousine Liberal. Of course, that is just restating the obvious. However, San Fran Nan doesn’t seem to be able to help herself. Now she is saying that the Trump tax cuts are unpatriotic.
One of the problems the Progressive Democrats are having is that all the lies they told regarding President Trump’s tax cuts are coming home to roost. People are seeing actual increases in their take home pay, and as they learn the truth, more and more people are changing their minds and supporting the new tax law. This is causing the Democrats to panic. Instead of correcting their message, they’re doubling down on it. Here’s what happened with Pelosi at a recent Town Hall meeting from NTK Network:
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) stepped up her rhetoric regarding the GOP tax bill Tuesday, calling it “unpatriotic’ during a town hall in Texas.
We could have, as we’ve done before, written a tax bill in a bipartisan way that had transparency that people could see what it was about,” Pelosi said about the GOP tax bill.
Pelosi said that instead, Republicans passed the GOP tax bill in the dead of night so that America people would not know about the legislation, allowing Republicans to “pin a rose on it,” as she described it.
“If what you’re doing is cutting the taxes at the high end and therefore not being allowed to invest in the future, you’re doing a grave disservice to our country,” Pelosi said.
Excuse me “Oh Dimwitted One,” have you forgotten Obamacare? How about “We have to pass the bill in order to know what is in the bill.” Oh, I forgot, you’re suffering from dementia so you probably did forget. You also seem to have missed the memo that people are finding out that they’re actually benefiting from the new tax law and are moving to support it. Well most of them. You still have your constituency of brain dead moonbats.
A participant at the town hall interjected that it was unpatriotic.
“It’s unpatriotic,” Pelosi agreed. “I wish we could have come together to do a fair tax bill, but it is about our country.”
In San Fran Nan’s mind, a “Fair tax bill” is one that increases taxes on the working people and lowers them for the rich progressive elites such as herself.
Pelosi then said that the GOP tax bill was “undermining” American democracy.
“So, a budget, again, [is] a statement of values, it’s about conscience, it’s about justice. That’s not what this budget or tax plan is about,” Pelosi concluded.
Pelosi and her Progressive ilk have nothing but contempt for Democracy in any form. She and the others have repeatedly demonstrated this for over a century. Pelosi and Dingy Harry Reid’s actions to ram Obamacare down the throats of America, over the objections of not just the Republicans in Congress, but the majority of people proved this.
The Republican tax bill was made available to the Democrats. Their input was requested. They just refused to have anything to do with it. Compare this to what San Fran Nan did during the Obamacare debates. She literally locked the Republicans out of any aspect of developing the bill. They were pointedly told that their input didn’t matter and wasn’t wanted.
The new tax law is growing in popularity as people see more money coming in. The Progressive Liberal Democrats, along with their MSM Propaganda arm, are flailing around, trying to find something, anything they can use to regain what they see as their rightful place. Rulers of America. The Democrats can only be thankful that it will be 2019, when people start doing their taxes for this year and fully realize the benefits of President Trump’s tax cuts.
