Good day all. One of the things that the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump, did was really put the screws to Iran. One of these was shutting down their oil sales. Then came the worst president in American History, Joe Biden and Kackling Kamala Harris. Under instructions from Obama, he’s pretty much given the Iranians whatever they wanted.
One of these things that the maladministration’s policies is doing nothing at all about Iran’s oil sales. Iran has made a lot of money they’ve been funneling into terrorist attacks on Israel and the United States. (They’ve also been investing in their nuclear weapons program as well) Just how much has this incompetence helped Iran? Here are the details from the Daily Wire:
Iran’s illegal oil sales have exploded under the Biden-Harris administration, providing a much larger sum of cash than was previously known to the Islamic regime that it has used to fund terrorism throughout the Middle East.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in a newly released report that Iran has made $144 billion in oil sales under the administration.
Thanks a lot Joe. How many people have died because Iran had the funds to buy weapons and pay terrorists? How many of them were Americans? The article lists some estimates of how much Iran made on oil sales.
The report showed that Iranian oil revenues more than doubled during the administration’s first year in office, from $16 billion during former President Donald Trump’s last year in office to $37 billion in 2021. Iran earned more than $53 billion during both 2022 and 2023.
If I recall correctly, some oil sales were allowed under President Trump for humanitarian reasons, such as food and medicine. Now I may be mistaken here and Iran was actually smuggling oil out.
The EIA warned that the real numbers could be even higher because Iran will use smaller vessels to transport the oil, which can avoid detection.
“Iran uses several obfuscation techniques such as turning off its ship identification signals, applying ship-to-ship transfers, or relabeling cargoes as originating from other countries for both crude oil and oil products, which increases the challenge of providing precise export data,” the report said.
Since Biden and Harris were installed into office, I suspect Iran doesn’t even bother with that any longer. They know he’s been bought and paid for. I also suspect that they know what will happen if/when President Trump is reelected, which is why they have hit teams trying to kill him.
Recently, Israel has been tearing apart Iran’s proxy force in Lebanon, Hezbollah. The IDF and Mossad have done a “Bang up job” so to speak, in gutting Hezbollah’s leadership. This lead Iran to fire missiles into Israel. That attack failed and Israel is planning something really bad for Iran. This has led a number of shipping companies to move away from Iran’s oil terminals for fear of getting hit.
Iran probably called up Antony Blinken and whined that “The big bad Israeli Military might hurt our oil production!” which led Dementia Joe, after confirming the check cleared, to tell Prime Minister Netanyahu to not even think about blowing up Iran’s oil facilities.
I can’t say if Israel was going to do that or not, but Prime Minister Netanyahu apparently agreed that Iran’s oil and nuclear facilities weren’t on the target list. Whether this was true or not, who knows? With the recent massive intelligence leak on the IDF’s planning and readiness for a counterstrike on the Mad Mullahs, not to mention the recent attempted drone attack on Prime Minister Netanyahu, this may have changed. (Hitting the Iranian reactors is a nonstarter due to the risk of radiation and a meltdown)
Update. I wrote this before Israel launched their strike on Iran, and they did not hit their oil facilities. Perhaps next time. AW
Thanks to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, the world is a far more dangerous place then it was four years ago. Israel will do whatever it deems necessary to secure their safety and if that means turning Iran’s oil production and shipping systems into burning scrap, then they will. Frankly, that should have been done decades ago. Hopefully, President Trump and Vice President Vance, once they clean out the Biden and Obama refuse currently infesting Washington, will be able to do something about, and to Iran.
