Review: Outcasts

Greetings all, This is the Angry Systems Administrator. Looks like this is the week for reviews. My review is the BBC Television series, Outcasts.

The show revolves around a small settlement on the planet Carpathia in the year 2060. It is the home of the people who have left Earth after a nuclear war. The program was originally broadcast in England and then in the United States a few months later.

To put it bluntly, the show sucked. It sucked so much that the BBC canceled it. I watched it on BBC America. Well, I fast forwarded through it on my DVR. I continued watching it in the same way someone watches a train wreck or a crashing airplane. You know it’s going to end badly but you can’t turn away.

Last night (August 6), was the last original episode on BBC America. Now it’s off to the trash heap of television history and I can now turn to things that are actually fun to watch, rather than feeling like a root canal without Novocaine.

If you feel like torturing yourself, I’m sure there will be reruns as they try to recoup their costs. According to Wikipedia, they plan on releasing a DVD set. I have no intention of confirming this, let alone actually buying this POS. ((Piece Of S**T))
