Good day all. As you should know, unless you have been keeping your head in a dark, warm, moist and smelly location on your person, we are headed for a massive tax increase thanks to Obama and the Democrats.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Republicans in the House have been trying to get King Putz to actually sit down and do his job, but it\u2019s becoming clear that the SCoaMF actually wants the tax hikes to happen and then try and use it to blame the Republicans. Last week, Turbotax Tim Geithner met with Boehner and Senate Majority leader McConnell and basically said that the Obama Administration wanted massive redistributionist tax hikes on anyone actually working, and also wanted the Congress to surrender the ability to hike the debt ceiling to the Administration. On top of all that, Der Fubar also wants more spending on useless projects. As to actually cutting spending? Other than defense, not a chance.<\/p>\n

Well Boehner and his RINO pals came up with their own plan and sent it off to King Putz. One of the things it called for is $800 billion in \u201cNew Revenue,\u201d allegedly by closing \u201cTax Loopholes.\u201d The Conservative wing of the party has since blasted this idea. (Not that it matters, the Progressive Democrats say they want more taxes) The first volley\u2019s were fired by Senator Jim DeMint. He wasn\u2019t the only one to open fire. Here are some of the details from the Washington Times<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Sen. Jim DeMint, a tea party favorite, ripped House Republican leaders for offering a budget framework that embraced new taxes, saying the GOP plan to raise $800 billion in new revenue would hurt the economy, kill jobs and not reduce the national debt by a penny.<\/p>\n

“This isn’t rocket science,” Mr. DeMint, South Carolina Republican, said. “Everyone knows that when you take money out of the economy, it destroys jobs, and everyone knows that when you give politicians more money, they spend it. This is why Republicans must oppose tax increases and insist on real spending reductions that shrink the size of government and allow Americans to keep more of their hard-earned money.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Boehner is a big government RINO. All he cares about is protecting his seat in congress. To put it bluntly, he has few political principles and absolutely no backbone at all. He is caving in to Der Fubar again.<\/p>\n

The conservative Heritage Foundation also dismissed the GOP’s plan, saying it fails Mr. Boehner’s own test of seriousness because it doesn’t do enough to curtail entitlement spending.<\/p>\n

“When President Obama put forth his first offer on the fiscal cliff, House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) said, ‘You can’t be serious.’ We could say the same thing to the speaker after his counteroffer yesterday,” Heritage said in an email to supporters.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This is the problem with the long term \u201cBeltway Bubble\u201d people. They have been in Washington so long, that they think the whole world revolves around them. They can\u2019t see what is happening out in \u201cFlyover country\u201d since they no longer have any frame of reference. This is one of the reasons Richard Lugar was knocked out of his seat in the senate in the Republican primary. Of course, Bonehead Boehner isn\u2019t taking this dissent lying down. According to a report in Roll Call, Boehner has begun to purge out the conservatives from senior positions.<\/p>\n

Speaker John A. Boehner initiated today a small purge of rebellious Republicans \u2014 mostly conservatives \u2014 from prominent committees; it\u2019s the latest instance of the Ohio Republican\u2019s clamping down on his fractious conference.<\/p>\n

The decisions were made by the GOP Steering Committee at a Monday meeting, which reviewed a spreadsheet listing each GOP lawmaker and how often he or she had voted with leadership, three sources said.<\/p>\n

Reps. David Schweikert ((David Schweikert<\/a>)) of Arizona and Walter Jones ((Walter B. Jones, Jr.<\/a>)) of North Carolina were booted from the Financial Services Committee. Reps. Justin Amash ((Justin Amash<\/a>)) of Michigan and Tim Huelskamp ((Timothy Alan Huelskamp<\/a>)) of Kansas were removed from the Budget Committee.<\/p>\n

According to a source, Schweikert was told that he was ousted in part because his \u201cvotes were not in lockstep with leadership.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yep, that sounds like a purge to me.<\/p>\n

All of the lawmakers other than Jones were rebellious right-wingers. Huelskamp and Amash, for instance, both voted against the budget proposed by Budget Chairman Paul D. Ryan of Wisconsin in committee and on the floor, because it did not cut spending fast enough. They also voted against the current continuing resolution that is funding the government through the end of March.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Oh I love the phrase used by Roll Call to describe these people. \u201cRebellious right-wingers.\u201d In other words, people who want to reduce the size of the government, and get rid of the regulatory state we are now enslaved under. Nothing like unbalanced reporting, don\u2019t you think? In any case, you are beginning to see a massive fight inside the Republican party.<\/p>\n

Schweikert defeated Rep. Ben Quayle in a contentious GOP primary and was not regarded as leadership\u2019s first choice in that race. Schweikert\u2019s tactics in the rough-and-tumble primary, according to several sources, rubbed leaders the wrong way.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Someone call the Establishment RINO\u2019s a Waaahmbulence!<\/p>\n

The decisions came as a major surprise to Republican members. When first contacted about the changes, several of the lawmakers\u2019 offices said they had not yet been notified.<\/p>\n

The shuffling is the latest sign that Boehner is flexing his muscle with the right flank of his conference as he seeks a united front during tense fiscal cliff negotiations with President Barack Obama.<\/p>\n

A GOP strategist said, \u201cThis is a move that the whip team has been advocating for some time. They are using all of the tools at their disposal.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Those GOP strategists are one of the reasons we lost what should have been an easy win for the presidency and the Senate. Boehner and the RINO wing of the party are now saying that they want outright war in the Republican Party. I suspect that they may get it. Boehner is not held in high regard by the fiscal conservatives or the constitutionalists in the party. This may trigger a floor fight for the speaker-ship for the next Congress.<\/p>\n

The last time I recall something like this happening was when Newt Gingrich was challenged back in June of 1997. Would you care to guess who was among the House Republicans that went after Gingrich? If you said Boehner, you would be right ((Challenge to Newt Gingrich as Speaker of the House<\/a>)). One of the reasons for that coup was the claim that Gingrich\u2019s tendency towards outspokenness was a liability.<\/p>\n

If a fight to get rid of Boehner occurs, I think he would probably win. There are to many slimeball RINO\u2019s in the House who only care about keeping their fat asses IN the house and not about our country. Now, if I were running the \u201cCoup\u201d against Boehner, this is what I would do. I would tell him he is out and if he didn\u2019t leave, the conservatives would vote to make Pelosi the Speaker again. They definitely have enough seats to do that. (Although it would be a hollow victory for Pelosi. She would have the seat but there is no way the Conservatives would let her push the SCoaMF\u2019s agenda)<\/p>\n

If, as expected, Crybaby Boehner and Moron McConnell cave in again to Obama, we may see a full fledged split in the Republican Party. The Fiscal conservatives, the constitutionalists and the Libertarians, (Not that they amount to much), could walk out and form a new party. The TEA party, while completely decentralized, could be turned into a viable third party, especially if they can get the Republican money people to walk away from the RINO\u2019s. (Think Koch brothers) If 40 or 50 members of congress, along with 5-10 members of the Senate join the new party, they have instant viability. It won\u2019t be just the Republicans that will consider joining either. You could see a large number of old style \u201cReagan Democrats\u201d joining up as well.<\/p>\n

There is an old Chinese curse that applies to our current circumstances. \u201cMay you live in interesting times.\u201d These are very interesting times.<\/p>\n
