I hate Illinois Nazi\u2019s. In this case, they have decided that the way to National Socialist nirvana is to outlaw all modern firearms. Senate President John Cullerton is preparing to introduce a bill that will \u201cBan Assault weapons. The only problem, this bill, if it\u2019s rammed through, basically bans all guns in the state.<\/p>\n

According to the Illinois State Rifle Association<\/a>,<\/p>\n

\u201cThe ISRA has learned from a credible source that Illinois Senate President John Cullerton ((John Cullerton)) will introduce a so called \u2018assault weapons\u2019 ban on Wednesday when the legislature returns for its \u2018lame duck\u2019 session. Cullerton hopes to ramrod the bill through and get it to Governor Quinn for signature by Friday. If he is successful at doing so, nearly every gun you currently own will be banned and will be subject to confiscation by the Illinois State Police . . .<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So, they want to not only ban the 2nd<\/sup> Amendment, but they\u2019re also going after the 4th<\/sup> and 5th<\/sup> Amendments as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cBased on what we know about Cullerton\u2019s bill, firearms that would be banned include all semiautomatic rifles, pistols, and shotguns. Pump action shotguns would be banned as well. This would be a very comprehensive ban that would include not only so-called \u2018assault weapons\u2019 but also such classics as M1 Garands and 1911-based pistols. There would be no exemptions and no grandfathering. You would have a very short window to turn in your guns to the State Police to avoid prosecution.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So, about all you will be allowed is a 15th<\/sup> century matchlock ((The Matchlock Musket<\/a>))? Well, at least you can go to a range and fire that old fashioned smoke screen generator.<\/p>\n

The NRA\u2019s Illinois rep confirms Illinois Senate President John Cullerton\u2019s gun ban bill. Posting at llinoiscarry.com, Todd Vandermyde says \u201cNot only are they going after semi-autos and magazines, but they are going after ranges . . .Sources say the new bills would require any range open to the public to be run by an FFL. That they would be licensed under unlimited rules and regulations by the State Police. If you see what the Governor did under his AV of SB-681<\/a>, you can imagine what kind of rules\/standards he would put in place to run a range.\u201d The new bill would also prevent non-FOID card holders from getting firearm safety training with a live fire component. \u201cAt this time we have no bill numbers,\u201d Todd says.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

How typical of the Progressive Democrats running Illinois…right into the ground. The state is in a dead heat for complete financial collapse with California. The NDSWP ((National Democratic Socialist Workers Party<\/a>)) knows that when their house of cards collapses, the tar, feathers and rope will be coming out and the \u201cFilthy Masses\u201d will come gunning for them…literally. So, rather then doing things to correct that mess, they would rather celebrate the 532nd<\/sup> murder in Chicago by punishing the people who actually don\u2019t commit crimes by making them into criminals.<\/p>\n

If you live in Illinois, you have my deepest sympathies. While it won\u2019t do any good, the Illinois State Rifle Association is asking that you call your state reps and yell at them.<\/p>\n
