Good day all. This is a bit different from the last few weeks. I\u2019m delving into foreign policy. In this case, I\u2019m going to talk about Pastor Saeed Abedini. He has been stuck in an Iranian jail for months, undergoing beatings simply because he is a Christian.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Now, the Iranians have sent his \u201ccase\u201d to a judge who likes to order people hanged. Here are a few details from the Jerusalem Post:<\/p>\n

The family of American-Iranian pastor Saeed Abedini released a letter from him on Thursday stating that Iranian authorities have threatened him with death because of his belief in Christianity.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the process in my life today: One day I am told I will be freed and allowed to see my kids on Christmas (which was a lie) and the next day, I am told I will hang for my faith in Jesus,\u201d he wrote in the letter.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne day, there are intense pains after beatings in interrogations; the next day they are nice to you and offer you candy,\u201d continued Abedini, who is imprisoned in a Tehran jail.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Pastor Abedini converted from Islam to Christianity. This is considered a capitol crime in the Islamic world. In their barbarian eyes, once a Muslim, always a Muslim…or else. So, what\u2019s the response from the Obama regime? About what you might expect.<\/p>\n

The US State Department expressed \u201cserious concerns\u201d about Abedini\u2019s situation on Friday.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Considering the State Department has been sucking up to every Radical Islamic Fundamentalist out there for the last 4 years, this \u201cconcern\u201d is typical. The correct response should have been, \u201cYou have 12 hours to put Pastor Saeed Abedini on a plane out of Iran or we start turning your outhouse of a country into a smoking crater.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sekulow and the ACLJ<\/a> have urged the US government to intervene in the Abedini\u2019s case. He told the Post <\/i>that \u201cafter months of urging the US State Department to get involved in Pastor Saeed\u2019s case, a State Department spokesperson on Friday addressed his plight publicly, acknowledging for the first time that it has \u2018serious concerns\u2019 about his fate. We are hopeful that this statement represents an important first step forward for the State Department toward securing Pastor Saeed\u2019s freedom.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPastor Saeed is a US citizen \u2013 an American imprisoned in Iran because of his religious beliefs. The State Department must do more \u2013 it must condemn his imprisonment and call on Iran to immediately release him. The world is watching. Time is of the essence,\u201d the human rights activist continued.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I have heard a rumor that once Hagel is sworn in as the new Secretary of Defense, Iran intends to send him an invitation to a front row seat for the hanging.<\/p>\n

As much as I hate to say this, the good Pastor is toast. Obama has a long history of hanging Americans out to dry. This is just another reason he needs to be removed from office and prosecuted.<\/p>\n
