We have a bill put forth in the New Hampshire House of Representatives that is designed to increase the ability of criminals to commit crimes. The bill, NH HB135<\/a>, was submitted by Representative Stephen Shurtleff, Democrat, Merrimack county district11, eliminates the right of a person who is legally where they have a right to be.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\"God,<\/a>Basically, this is a repeal of the New Hampshire version of \u201cStand your ground.\u201d below is the text of the proposed bill:<\/p>\n

This bill:<\/p>\n

I. Eliminates the provision allowing a person to use deadly force anywhere he or she has a right to be.<\/p>\n

II. Amends the definition of non-deadly force.<\/p>\n

III. Repeals the provision granting civil immunity for the use of force in certain circumstances.<\/p>\n

Explanation: Matter added to current law appears in bold italics.<\/p>\n

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE<\/p>\n

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Thirteen<\/p>\n

AN ACT relative to physical force in defense of a person and relative to the definition of non-deadly force.<\/p>\n

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:<\/p>\n

1 Physical Force in Defense of a Person. Amend RSA 627:4, III to read as follows:<\/p>\n

III. A person is not justified in using deadly force on another to defend himself or herself or a third person from deadly force by the other if he or she knows that he or she and the third person can, with complete safety:<\/p>\n

(a) Retreat from the encounter, except that he or she is not required to retreat if he or she is within his or her dwelling[,] or its curtilage, [or anywhere he or she has a right to be<\/span><\/span>,] and was not the initial aggressor; or<\/p>\n

(b) Surrender property to a person asserting a claim of right thereto; or<\/p>\n

(c) Comply with a demand that he or she abstain from performing an act which he or she is not obliged to perform; nor is the use of deadly force justifiable when, with the purpose of causing death or serious bodily harm, the person has provoked the use of force against himself or herself in the same encounter; or<\/p>\n

(d) If he or she is a law enforcement officer or a private person assisting the officer at the officer’s direction and was acting pursuant to RSA 627:5, the person need not retreat.<\/p>\n

2 Justification; Definition of Non-deadly Force. Amend RSA 627:9, IV to read as follows:<\/p>\n

IV. \u201cNon-deadly force\u201d means any assault or confinement which does not constitute deadly force. [The act of producing or displaying a weapon shall constitute non-deadly force<\/span><\/span>.]<\/p>\n

3 Repeal. RSA 627:1-a, relative to civil immunity for the use of force, is repealed.<\/p>\n

4 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So, if this bill is passed and signed into law, New Hampshire becomes a target rich environment for criminals and crazies. Rep. Shurtleff is a Democrat, and as we are now seeing, the democrats are showing their true colors nationwide. They are working to institute a nation where the people have no rights, only privileges granted them by their masters.<\/p>\n

This flies in the face of current trends nationwide and will get people killed. More and more, this seems to be the goal of the Progressive Liberal Democrats across the nation. The more people they can get killed, the more they can tighten the screws, end the republic and discard the Constitution they despise with every fiber of their being.<\/p>\n

Now I don\u2019t know anything about Representative, (Of criminals), Shurtleff. I don\u2019t live in his district. According to his bio, he is a former law enforcement official and has been holding office in one district or the other since 2004. Obviously, he has nothing but contempt for the people of this state and wishes them ill. The bad news, is we\u2019re stuck with this clown for two more years.<\/p>\n

Now, will this bill pass and become law. I don\u2019t know, but I tend to doubt it. Once people understand what Rep. Shurtleff has planned, I suspect they will melt the phones. There have been way to many incidents where armed citizens have used firearms to defend themselves and others. Personally, I\u2019m hoping that Rep. Shurtleff isn\u2019t a moronic Moonbat and only put this up at the request of a complete idiot in his district.<\/p>\n

So, New Hampshire Residents, Call your reps, house and senate, and make sure this piece of crap is tossed into the trash as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
