If you said Obama, you would be wrong, as your latest pay stub will clearly demonstrate to you. The people not raising taxes, and instead are talking about cutting them are several Republican governors.

This is almost dead opposite of what a number of Progressive Liberal Democrat governors are either doing or are planning on doing. So who are these governors who seem to think the best place for the taxpayer’s money is in their own wallets? Here’s what Fox News has to say:

Gov. Dave Heineman, Nebraska, and Bobby Jindal, Louisiana, earlier this week proposed eliminating the tax on residents and corporations.

Meanwhile, Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback proposed lower taxes for all residents in exchange for eliminating the tax deduction for interest paid on home mortgages.

Brownback’s mortgage-interest proposal is to help close a budget shortfall and was rejected last year by the state’s General Assembly.

He has been working for at least a year toward ending state income taxes and announced his plan Tuesday as part of his balanced budget proposal for fiscal 2014 and 2015.

Of course, the communists Progressives are dead set against anything that smacks of letting people keep their own money.

However, Democrats and others have already criticized the proposal.

The non-partisan Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy said the proposal would benefit the rich at the expense of the poor. Its analysis essentially states the bottom 80 percent of Kansas income earners would collectively see a tax hike while the highest 20 percent would see substantial tax cuts, according to the Lawrence (Kansas) Journal-World.

Senate Democratic Leader Anthony Hensley called Brownback’s proposal “Robin Hood in reverse.”

“He is stealing from the poor and giving to the rich,” he told the newspaper.

Non-partisan my sweet aunt Petunia! I’ve never met any think tank anywhere that was non-partisan on either side of the spectrum. When will these Progressive Liberal idiots understand that you don’t tax people to be fair, you do it to raise the minimal amount of revenue required to fund the government, and NOT ONE DIME MORE? That will be sometime in November 21000AD I think.

Contrast what the Republican governors are trying to do with what the Democrat governors want to do. Governors like Deval “Urkle” Patrick of Massachusetts. He wants to hike taxes almost $2 billion dollars. Here are a few details on this from the Massachusetts state Propaganda organ, the Boston Globe:

Governor Deval Patrick unveiled more elements of his tax plans Thursday, including proposals to gradually raise the gas tax, MBTA fares, turnpike tolls, and Registry fees, plans he says will stabilize the transportation system long into the future.

Would you care to guess how many times in the past the Moonbats of Massachusetts have said they needed to raise taxes to “Stabilize the transportation system?” Just about every time they’ve shoved their hands into the Massachusetts taxpayers pockets. Has it ever worked? Nope! Why is that you may ask?

Simple really. Massachusetts is wholly owned by the democrats and the various unions. They are forever demanding and getting more money for everything. Actually providing decent service? HAH! Those few workers that actually try and help out people are quickly broken on the Union Hackorama Wheel ((The Breaking Wheel)).

The new elements follow Patrick’s announcement Wednesday of what is the core of his tax plan: raising the income tax from 5.25 percent to 6.25 percent while cutting the sales tax from 6.25 percent to 4.5 percent. The changes, if approved, would take effect in 2014 and would result in higher taxes for about 50 percent of residents, with the biggest burden on higher-income earners.

The Massachusetts pols have tried raising taxes many times over the years. Within months a petition drive to place a referendum on the ballot shows up and the voters repeal the tax increases.

But the plan carries some risk for the governor. While it could cement his legacy, it could also anger voters and reignite the once-powerful anti-tax movement in Massachusetts.

That movement never went away, it has just been quiescent of late.

All told, Patrick’s changes, which also call for the elimination of some corporate tax benefits, would raise taxes by $1.9 billion annually, money the governor wants to use to shore up and expand transportation systems and broaden education programs.

“If we want jobs, we have to invest,” Patrick said in an interview Thursday, after promoting the plan on television and radio and in visits with business executives and lawmakers. “We are trying to think of a way to accomplish that that really moves the needle.”

Massachusetts once had the nickname “Taxachusetts.” This was back when Governor Michael Stanley Dukakis basically ran the state right into the ground fiscally. Gov. Patrick has been doing pretty much the same thing. As to education? All that money will do is reinforce failure. (And give pay raises to Hack teachers who couldn’t spell “Cat” if their life depended on it)

This isn’t just Massachusetts. Every single Blue State has been rampaging through the bank accounts of it’s working citizens. California, Illinois, Maryland and New York are basically bankrupt with massive structural deficits. The “Rich” they like to loot are voting with their feet and moving to states that don’t rape the most productive people.

Now, while I don’t live in Massachusetts, I am forced to work their in Real Life. I have no say in how the money Massachusetts steals from me will be spent. Basically, I and others like me are seen as giant piggy banks to be looted. (Didn’t we have a revolution a while back regarding taxation without representation?)

What this shows is the Democrats generally don’t have a clue when it comes to running anything. They just like to spend and spend until they run out of other people’s money. The Republican governors, all of whom have to live within their means, understand that if you take to much money, people and business either leave or close their businesses. This is what’s happening in California, It’s happened in Maryland ((In Maryland, Higher Taxes Chase Out Rich: Study)), and it’s happened in New York ((Tax refugees staging escape from New York)). You know, I always though “Escape from New York” was just a movie. Who knew it was based on real life?

History has shown that when the government takes to much from people, they start cutting back, especially businesses. Republicans figured that out decades ago, but Progressive Liberal Democrats are just to stupid to learn. I rather hope the experiments the Republican governors are looking into work and all the jobs and businesses in the Blue States bail out and move. It’s already happening in California, and Illinois is seeing it happen as well. Companies are tired of being treated as the state’s money machines.

Thatisall

~The Angry Webmaster~
(2 votes, average: 1.00 out of 5)
Loading...

Good day, guess who is NOT raising taxes?
