While we give ourselves raises. Yes, you heard right. Outgoing Secretary of defense Leon Panetta suggested that the military cut the pay of people in uniform, who risk their lives to protect us.<\/p>\n

Here are a few details from the Washington Examiner<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Outgoing Defense Secretary Leon Panetta reportedly believes the military should receive a pay cut in order to respond to the budget cuts facing the Pentagon \u2014 a position that might strengthen the Republican push to reverse President Obama\u2019s executive order raising the salary of Vice President Joe Biden and other federal officials.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Panetta is and always has been a hard core lefty who deep down despises the military. Recently, he\u2019s been good at hiding this. Suggesting cutting the already low levels of compensation while Obama\u2019s cronies get pay increases is the height of contempt.<\/p>\n

\u201cPanetta will recommend to Congress that military salaries be limited to a one percent increase in 2014,\u201d CNN reports<\/a>, explaining that Panetta is \u201ceffectively decreasing troop salaries next year . . . The decision comes as the secretary is stepping up the rhetoric about dire cuts at the Pentagon if sequestration goes into effect.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The tone deafness of the SCoaMF and his minions knows no bounds.<\/p>\n

The debate about sequestration did not stop Obama from ending a pay freeze for some government officials, effectively authorizing a pay raise that costs $11 billion.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In Il Douche\u2019s mind, rendering the United States defenseless is a good idea. He knows he can\u2019t trust the \u201cGrunts on the ground.\u201d They are sworn to defend the constitution, not the president, not the nation, (although defending the nation does tie in with defending the constitution), and not the congress against ALL enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC. Many members of the military, current and former, consider the morons in Washington, starting with King Putt, to be domestic enemies. Gutting their pay will cause them to leave the service.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe President\u2019s pay hike even increases the salary for federal employees who receive poor performance reviews from their own supervisors,\u201d House Oversight and Government Reform Committee chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., said<\/a> when a group of lawmakers proposed legislation to reverse the pay increase. \u201cAs President Obama continues to say one thing and do another on deficit spending, it is appropriate for Congress to challenge his unilateral decision to spend $11 billion on non-merit based pay raises for federal workers.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Republicans are doing their best to roll back those unwarranted raises. The problem is the Democrats. They are the party of government and believe that the government comes first, second and last. The Taxpayers and the Military don\u2019t even show up on the radar. With all that\u2019s going on today, this is something that could backfire badly on Obama and the Democrats. Everyone one knows that you ALWAYS make sure the people with the guns, bombs and nuclear weapons are paid. The Romans knew it. The North KOREANS know it. As an examples of those who didn\u2019t know it, look to the Carthaginians.<\/p>\n

For the last 20 years, our military has been run down by one slimy weasel after another. First Clinton all but destroyed the finest military force in the world with his cuts. Bush was reelected and had a plan to rebuild the forces, but then we had 9\/11. That threw a wrench into those plans. All the while, the Democrats were doing what they could to damage our forces. Then came Obama.<\/p>\n

Pay the troops you worthless bag of crap. Need to find the money? Start with firing 10% of the non-defense government workers, concentrating on anyone in management. Close a few agencies and kill Obamacare. You won\u2019t of course. This is exactly what you want.<\/p>\n

That isn\u2019t all<\/p>\n
