Wait a minute! Someone in San Francisco, home of Senator \u201cConfiscate all guns!\u201d Feinstein, was walking around with a machinegun? Apparently so. Here are some of the details from the San Francisco Chronicle<\/a>:<\/p>\n A Sacramento man was arrested early Monday after he shot up a man’s Western Addition home with an automatic rifle, San Francisco police said.<\/strong><\/p>\n Now, if you follow the Obama Steno Pool, you know that in their eyes, a water pistol is considered an \u201cAutomatic Rifle\u201d to them. None of them know anything about firearms and are very happy to show their ignorance to the world. To continue…<\/p>\n Kareem Benton, 42, got into an argument Sunday night with another man on the 1000 block of McAllister Street and followed the man to his home nearby, said Officer Albie Esparza, a police spokesman.<\/strong><\/p>\n Benton then pulled out a fully automatic AK-47 and sprayed the man’s home with bullets just after 7:30 p.m., Esparza said. The victim, who was in his home, was shot in the leg and is expected to survive.<\/strong><\/p>\n Ok, now, it looks like someone actually did their job and found out that this wasn\u2019t a civilian version of the venerable Kalashnikov rifle, but a fully automatic weapon. It also shows that this idiot Benton is a member of the \u201cSpray and Pray\u201d school of marksmanship. This is the school preferred by most non-western armed forces and consists of pointing the rifle in the general direction of the target and holding to trigger back until the rifle stops going *BANG*.<\/p>\n Benton fled in a Jeep Grand Cherokee, but was arrested shortly after 2 a.m. Monday on the 200 block of Cashmere Street in the Bayview, Esparza said.<\/strong><\/p>\n I wonder if he failed his breathalyser test? I think it\u2019s pretty safe to assume that drugs and\/or alcohol were involved in this incident.<\/p>\n Esparza said he did not know exactly what charges Benton could face, but noted that it is illegal to possess a fully automatic AK-47.<\/strong><\/p>\n No Shit Sherlock! All fully automatic firearms in civilian hands are heavily regulated in the National Firearms Act. In fact, the registry was closed in 1986 and no new machineguns have been available to the civilian market since then. A quick Google search came up with the appropriate statutes:<\/p>\n 26 U.S.C. \u00a7 5685 : US Code – Section 5685: Penalty and forfeiture relating to possession of devices for emitting gas, smoke, etc., explosives and firearms, when violating liquor laws<\/strong><\/p>\n (a) Penalty for possession of devices for emitting gas, smoke, etc. Whoever, when violating any law of the United States, or of any possession of the United States, or of the District of Columbia, in regard to the manufacture, taxation, or transportation of or traffic in distilled spirits, wines, or beer, or when aiding in any such violation, has in his possession or in his control any device capable of causing emission of gas, smoke, or fumes, and which may be used for the purpose of hindering, delaying, or preventing pursuit or capture, any explosive, or any firearm (as defined in section 5845), except a machine gun, or a shotgun having a barrel or barrels less than 18 inches in length, or a rifle having a barrel or barrels less than 16 inches in length, shall be fined not more than $5,000, or imprisoned not more than 10 years, or both, and all persons engaged in any such violation or in aiding in any such violation shall be held to be in possession or control of such device, firearm, or explosive.<\/strong><\/p>\n (b) Penalty for possession of machine gun, etc. Whoever, when violating any such law, has in his possession or in his control a machine gun, or any shotgun having a barrel or barrels less than 18 inches in length, or a rifle having a barrel or barrels less than 16 inches in length, shall be imprisoned not more than 20 years; and all persons engaged in any such violation or in aiding in any such violation shall be held to be in possession and control of such machine gun, shotgun, or rifle.<\/strong><\/p>\n So, aside from the attempted murder charges, which are covered under the California penal code, This moronic schmuck is going to be spending some serious quality time in a nice federal \u201cPound me in the ass\u201d penitentiary with his new cellmate, Bubba \u201cYo sure gots a purty mouth thar\u201d Redneck. You know, the one who\u2019s been locked up for 15 years for molesting cattle and hasn\u2019t seen a woman, or cattle for that matter, since his arrest.<\/p>\n And finally, Mr. Esparza had this to say in regards to Benton\u2019s illegal possession of an automatic weapon.<\/p>\n “Criminals don’t adhere to any laws,” Esparza said. “That’s why they are criminals.”<\/strong><\/p>\n Would someone care to explain this concept to the Progressive Liberal Democrats who want to suppress the Second Amendment? Criminals such as Benton have shown that they will have no problem getting some serious firepower if they want it. Your plans to render the American People defenseless is not going to succeed.
