Greetings all, as the headline states, His Most Nagging Royal Highness, Emperor Michael A. Bloomberg, is not at all happy that a judge told him to take his soda cup ban, sit on it and rotate.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\"King<\/a>The background is rather straight forward. A few months ago, Imperious Leader decided that people in New York City needed to be told how much soda they could drink in one sitting. So, he ordered the Imperial Minions in the New Your City Health Department to ban anything over 16oz in size. This angered a lot of people and businesses. So they sued to put a stop to all this.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, the ban was…banned. Here are some of the details from the Washington Times<\/a>:<\/p>\n

New York Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg\u2019s ban on big sugary sodas fell flat Monday after a state judge invalidated the rule.<\/p>\n

New York Supreme Court <\/a>Justice Milton Tingling<\/a> in Manhattan said the regulations, which were set to take effect Tuesday, are \u201cfraught with arbitrary and capricious consequences.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe court<\/a> finds that the regulation herein is laden with exceptions based on economic and political concerns,\u201d the judge wrote in his 36-page opinion.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So, The Imperial Turd was giving out favors to his special few. (Those who no doubt sent him gifts of Gold, Frankincense and Cash) Needless to say, His Imperial Nagginess was most unhappy about this ruling.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a responsibility as human beings to do something, to save each other,\u201d Mr. Bloomberg<\/a> said after the ruling. \u201cWhile other people will wring their hands over the problem of sugary drinks, in New York City, we\u2019re doing something about it.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In other words. \u201cWe know what\u2019s good for you, peons, so sit down, shut up and do what I tell you to do! Your Emperor has spoken!\u201d<\/p>\n

And here is the little tyrant in full bellow<\/i><\/span> whine.<\/p>\n

Judge Tingling was not having any of it of course. From Fox News:<\/p>\n

Tingling said the city’s Board of Health went beyond its authority, and effectively would be “limited by its own imagination” if left unchecked.<\/p>\n

“The portion cap rule, if upheld, would create an administrative Leviathan and violate the separation of powers doctrine,” by straying into territory that should belong to the elected City Council, not the board appointed by Bloomberg, Tingling wrote.<\/p>\n

That, he wrote, “has the potential to be more troubling than sweetened beverages.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Judge Tingling then adjourned the court and took everyone out for Pizza and Bug Gulps. Bloomberg is one of the worst mayors in America. New York schools are \u201cgraduating\u201d seniors, 80% of which are functionally illiterate. Crime is going through the roof and people are bailing out of the city. (Granted, a lot of that has to do with fellow tyrant, Andrew Cuomo) All this little power mad little jerk can think about is how to run everyone else\u2019s life. Of course, those pesky little rules do not apply to \u201cHis Magnificence.\u201d<\/p>\n
