So sayeth representative Jason Chaffetz (R., Utah). As you know by know, a \u201cPerfect Storm\u201d of scandals has detonated under the Obama regime. First is the Benghazi fiasco, then last week came the IRS debacle. Over the weekend, the final player, (To date), was the Associated Press disaster.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Through it all, Obama has been lying through his teeth, with his most recent statements mimicking Sargent Schultz ((Hauptfeldwebel Hans Georg Schultz<\/a>)) claiming that \u201cHe knows Nothing!\u201d<\/p>\n

\"Der<\/a>While I do believe that Der Fubar is a screaming, incompetent moron, I also believe that he fully aware of what is going on around him, no matter how many rounds of golf he plays or vacations he goes on. The scandals so far known go far above anything that happened with Nixon and the Watergate break in coverup. The only reason Nixon wasn\u2019t impeached was his resigning just before the impeachment process got fully underway.<\/p>\n

Now we are beginning to hear the rumblings of impeachment again. The last time was Clinton, and the only reason he \u201cbeat the rap\u201d was a corrupt and dishonest Democrat party. Now we have, as mentioned above, Representative Jason Chaffetz saying that impeachment is on the table. From the National Review Online:<\/p>\n

\u201cI would say yes \u2014 I\u2019m not willing to take it off to take it off the table,\u201d representative Jason Chaffetz (R., Utah) said about the possibility of seeking the president\u2019s impeachment in the Benghazi scandal.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook, it\u2019s not something I\u2019m seeking, it\u2019s not the endgame, it\u2019s not what we\u2019re playing for,\u201d Chaffetz explained in an interview with CNN. \u201cI was simply asked if that\u2019s within the realm of possibilities.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It most assuredly is and long overdue in my humble opinion.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, Chaffetz told<\/a> the Salt Lake Tribune<\/em> that impeachment is \u201ccertainly a possibility,\u201d which drew attention but added, \u201cthat\u2019s not the goal.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Now, from my reading, it looks like Re. Chaffetz\u2019s remarks aren\u2019t taking into account the Associated Press and IRS scandals that just detonated last weekend. Chaffetz isn\u2019t the only one thinking about impeachment either. From The Salt Lake Tribune<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla., said last week impeachment was possible over the “most egregious cover-up in American history.<\/p>\n

“People may be starting to use the I-word before too long,” Inhofe told radio host Rusty Humphries, according to The Hill.<\/p>\n

“The I-word meaning impeachment?” Humphries asked.<\/p>\n

“Yeah,” Inhofe responded.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If they\u2019re talking about impeachment in regards to the Benghazi coverup, what are they going to do once the IRS and AP scandals really start getting going? As I remarked the other day<\/a>, it looks like Obama is in for a very long, hot summer. Obama\u2019s only hope is the Democrats putting him and the Democrat party ahead of the law, constitution and the country.<\/p>\n

So, Obama is safe then.<\/p>\n
