The knock out game is a nasty violent \u201cgame\u201d generally \u201cplayed\u201d by Urban Vermin. The idea, basically is you come up on someone who is minding their own business and try and knock them unconscious with a single blow, usually to the head.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Another term for this is Assault and Battery. I\u2019ve seen incidents regarding this so called \u201cgame\u201d pop up in the news over the last few years, usually with the victim either hospitalized, crippled or killed by these \u201cYouth\u2019s.\u201d Well, it seems the tables were turned on one of these little punks. Here are the details from Michigan Live:<\/p>\n

The game was called “point ’em out, knock ’em out,” and it was as random as it was brutal.<\/p>\n

The object: Target an innocent victim for no other reason than they are there, then sucker punch him or her.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

For those of a more sheltered Progressive Liberal view of the world, to sucker punch someone means to come up behind them and punch them as hard as you can in the back of the head. Because the human skull is rather thin there, and the critical parts of the brain that control the human body\u2019s autonomic systems, (Heartbeat, breathing, etc), a blow there can render you unconscious or even kill you. About the only time it is acceptable to hit someone there is when you are in a fight for your life. (Or you are a soldier about to take out an enemy) Now, in this case, the results were a little different then normal.<\/p>\n

But on this day in Lansing, there would be no punch. The teen-age attacker had a stun gun. He did not know his would-be victim was carrying a legally concealed pistol.<\/p>\n

The teen lost the game.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Obviously, this moron never learned a basic lesson in life. Never bring a Tazer to a gun fight. Now here is what happened:<\/p>\n

The 17-year-old in gym shorts approached his target. The 28-year-old Lansing man was waiting for his daughter at her school-bus stop at REO Road and Ballard Street. It was May 29, and a nice day. Temperatures would reach 79 degrees. It was partly cloudy, fairly gusty.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yes, a nice day for an assault.<\/p>\n

The teen had two friends nearby – dropped off by a third friend in a van after they scouted their target. They knew what Marvell Weaver was going to do. They had discussed it. Weaver approached his victim from behind, a black KL-800 Type Stun Gun in his pocket. It is capable of generating 1.8 million volts.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So we also have conspiracy along with aiding and abetting. Nice.<\/p>\n

He passed him and turned back, pressed the stun gun into the victim\u2019s side. Again and again, and \u2026 nothing. It had fired earlier when testing it, he would later tell police. \u201cThe button was like stuck down \u2026 or something. I don\u2019t know what caused it not to work,\u201d according to a transcript of Weaver\u2019s statement.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Can we say Oops? Sure we can! So what happened next?<\/p>\n

The intended victim moved quickly, pulling his stainless steel .40-caliber Smith and Wesson. It had a full 10-bullet magazine, and was worth about $900 police estimated.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

That is a nicely detailed report. I think the officers might be thinking about getting one of these for themselves. So what happened next?<\/p>\n

He shot Weaver in his buttocks as the teen turned to flee.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt happened so fast I wasn\u2019t sure. I just know something was shoved into my side. I wasn\u2019t sure if it was a knife, if it was anything,\u201d he told police.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

*Giggle* *Snort* *Guffaw* BWHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! He shot the little turd in the ASS! HAHAHAHAHAHA! *sniff*<\/p>\n

Weaver ran, sat down across the street, his leg going numb, bleeding. Pleading. \u201c\u2018I\u2019m sorry, please don\u2019t kill me, I don\u2019t know why I did that, I\u2019m high you know, I just wanna go home,\u2019\u201d the teen told the man who had just shot him.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Well, this piece of Urban debris wasn\u2019t going to be summarily executed by his intended victim. The attack against him had been stopped, and according to all self defense laws, once the attack has stopped, you can\u2019t keep shooting. Concealed Carry Weapon holders have this drilled into them. Frankly, none of them even wants to pull a gun on a person, let alone have to pull the trigger.<\/p>\n

The man called 911. He told the dispatcher the teen was “terminally wounded” and that he was a concealed pistol holder.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I\u2019m guessing that the intended victim thought he had brain shot this ninny when he shot him in the ass.<\/p>\n

“Did you shoot him?” the dispatcher asks, sounding incredulous.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What part of Wounded and Concealed Carry holder made you think he kicked him in the groin you moron?<\/p>\n

A witness told police the man stayed by the teen and appeared supportive and non-threatening.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He probably told him he wasn\u2019t going to kill him and tried to staunch the fecal<\/i><\/span> blood flow from this punks ass. In any case, the kid is in big trouble. According to the story, he might not get the major felony charges of Aggravated Assault or Robbery, but he is going to get slapped with illegal possession of a stun gun, which is a maximum two-year felony.<\/p>\n

On a potential plea deal for Weaver, Ingham County Chief Assistant Prosecutor Lisa McCormick would only offer, \u201cThere\u2019s been some discussion with the defense attorney, but nothing has been finalized.\u201d<\/p>\n

Whatever the outcome, the teen has written a letter apologizing to his victim.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t blame you for what you did. You were only trying to protect yourself. I only wish I could go back to change it to were (sic) I never did it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIm very sorry,\u201d he closes at the letter\u2019s end.<\/p>\n

The hand-scrawled note is written on one-page of lined binder paper. The printed apology is at least five times larger than the rest of the words.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Ok, I wouldn\u2019t throw the book at this kid. The hole in his ass, the new one, not the standard one, will be a good lesson on what happens when you do really stupid things, like try and hit someone with 1.5 million volts, just for fun. If his intended Target has been a better shot, that bullet might have killed or crippled him. Have him do 30 days scrubbing toilets somewhere. He might be recoverable.<\/p>\n

Now, you might think this was all a good laugh, but it could have ended very differently. The Target was lucky the stun gun malfunctioned. If it had worked, he would have been dropped as if he had been hit with a hammer. If that punk had seen his gun, he might have stolen it. You always need to be aware of what is going on around you.<\/p>\n

And now for an interesting little tidbit.<\/p>\n

Last month, more than 400,000 adults could lawfully carry hidden handguns in Michigan. That\u2019s one in 17 men and women 21 or older, more than since records have been kept.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What that should tell evil doers is, The odds of running up against someone who is carrying a gun, is trained in using it and practices a lot, is very high. These people are not police officers and don\u2019t think about things like a criminal\u2019s rights. If they see a threat, they will only make sure they won\u2019t ht an innocent bystander, then they will shoot you.<\/p>\n

The next time your representative, senator, legislator, governor or mayor says that you need to give up your guns and your right to defend yourself, tell them to kiss off, and then vote them out of office.<\/p>\n
