<\/a>It is through this mechanism that Obamacare has been getting funding. The house of representatives has sent a number of budgets to the senate, all of them stripping out Obamacare. The senate majority leader, in utter defiance of the constitution, has refused to even consider a budget, let alone pass one.<\/p>\nFinally, the Tea party congressmen have had enough and forced Crybaby Boehner and his leadership team to strip out any funding for Obamacare from the latest Continuing resolution. Here are a few details from Fox News<\/a>:<\/p>\n The House voted Friday to keep the government open through mid-December but only if Congress strips funding from ObamaCare. The vote was 230 to 189, and largely expected.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n By that, Fox is saying the Democrats<\/i><\/span> Communists continue to vote for more power to the government. An overwhelming majority of Americans hate Obamacare and want it repealed. The Progressive Totalitarian Liberal Democrats absolutely will not listen. They would rather lie, cheat, steal and murder then give up one iota of power.<\/p>\n Now, the CR is going to the senate for a vote. The Progressive Liberal Democrats, along with King Putt, are threatening to either vote it down, or if it actually makes it to that SCoaMF\u2019s desk, veto it, thereby shutting down the government. This is the one thing that terrifies the RINO\u2019s in congress. They seem to think they will be blamed for this, and they are right…sort of. They will be blamed by the Obama Steno Pool, the Moonbats and Der Fubar.<\/p>\n Since these are the only people the RINO\u2019s actually listen to, they think they will be voted out of office in 2014. Since the only thing that RINO\u2019s like Boehner, Canter, McConnell, etc. care about is keeping their asses in those nice comfy congressional chairs, doing anything that might put their reelection at risk is to be avoided. Those \u201cPrinciples\u201d things? Yeah, just leave those at home.<\/p>\n When the Tea Party and other conservative members started making noises about defunding Obamacare a few weeks ago, Boehner and his butt buddy, Eric Cantor came up with a really sleazy idea. First they would put through the CR, then they would send through a defunding bill. That went over like a lead balloon. The house finally decided to just send a CR to the Senate with funding for Obamacare removed. In other words, except for Obamacare, everything else is funded for a while longer.<\/p>\n 10 reasons to Fund Obamacare<\/p><\/div>\n Now, there is an interesting situation happening in the Senate. Ted Cruz, conservative from Texas, is saying he plans to filibuster the Continuing resolution. Yes, this confused me as much as it is you. However, there is a method to his madness. Apparently, that scumbag Harry Reid is planning to use some sort of procedural rule to put funding back in for Obamacare. Here are some of the details from Fox News<\/a>.<\/p>\n Sen. Ted Cruz is urging his Republican colleagues to block an anticipated procedural vote ona bill that keeps the government open through mid-December while cutting funding from ObamaCare.<\/p>\n The Texas senator, who backed the stopgap measure passed by the GOP-controlled House on Friday, said the vote-blocking strategy is necessary to prevent Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid from using “procedural gimmicks” to restore funding for the health care law.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Considering what an outright slimeball and scumbag Reid is, it actually does make sense for Cruz to look into a filibuster.<\/p>\n \u201cIf Reid pursues this plan \u2014 if he insists on using a 50-vote threshold to fund ObamaCare with a partisan vote of only Democrats \u2014 then I hope that every Senate Republican will stand together and oppose cloture on the bill in order to keep the House bill intact and not let Harry Reid add ObamaCare funding back in,” Cruz said in a statement.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n I can think of several RINO\u2019s who will \u201cCross the aisle\u201d and vote with Reid. John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and Jeff Flake come to mind. There may be others as well. I wouldn\u2019t put it past Kelly Ayotte to vote in favor of this. She\u2019s proven herself a lying sack of Clydesdale droppings. Now, if the CR without Obamacare funded manages to get through, and is put on Obama\u2019s desk, well, true to form, that megalomaniacal tyrant has said he will veto it.<\/p>\n The Obama administration threatened in advance to veto the bill if it should pass the Senate as well.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n The Democrats want Obamacare to go into effect. They want this for one reason only. They want to kill the United States as a constitutional republic and create the socialist paradise they have dreamed for since the 1930\u2019s. There is absolutely no way it can work and was designed to fail.<\/p>\n We are already seeing the first signs of this. Hospitals are cutting staff because they can\u2019t afford to handle patients on the reimbursements from Washington. Businesses are already dropping their employees from their health care planes and forcing them to use Obamacare, whether or not they want to. Insurance companies are jacking their rates up because they know what the costs will be. All businesses are cutting staff working ours to 29 hours a week so they won\u2019t have to pay the costs Obamacare will force on them. Others are simply closing their doors and giving up. My prediction?<\/p>\n Within three years, the unemployment rate will be at 15% and that will be the \u201cOfficial\u201d rate. The one they don\u2019t talk about? The real unemployment rate? Right now it\u2019s around 11-12%. My guess is it will hit 20-25% if not more.<\/p>\n The Progressive Liberal Democrats have been saying that the Republicans and Conservatives don\u2019t have a better plan. This is a flat out lie. Several ideas have been floated and been shot down by the Progressive Liberal Elites. Well, last week the Republicans put together a formal plan. According to Fox News<\/a>:<\/p>\n A group of House conservatives introduced legislation Wednesday that members say will replace ObamaCare and its \u201cunworkable\u201d taxes and mandates with a plan that expands tax breaks for Americans who buy their own insurance.<\/p>\n Under the proposal endorsed by the 175-member Republican Study Committee, Americans who purchase coverage through state-run exchanges can claim a $7,500 deduction against their income and payroll taxes, regardless of the cost of the insurance. Families could deduct $20,000.<\/p>\n The plan — which appears to be congressional Republicans’ first comprehensive alternative to President Obama’s health care overhaul — also increases government funding for high-risk pools. The plan serves as a rebuttal to Obama’s claims that Republicans just want to eliminate the health law and are no longer interested in replacing it. And it comes as House Republicans, on a different track, prepare to vote on a budget bill that would also de-fund the existing health care law. Democrats have vowed to oppose that bill, warning the strategy risks a government shutdown, with funding set to expire by Oct. 1.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Now I have problems with this plan, but as a first step, it isn\u2019t a bad idea. I want to get the government out of the healthcare business completely with a couple of exceptions. The military, who deserve the best care we can provide, and those who literally are not able to get care they need. I prefer high deductible plans with the individual paying for everything up to a set rate. People can put money into a tax free or tax deferred Health Savings account to cover the costs up to their deductible.<\/p>\n I would also end all the government mandates on insurance providers and allow them to sell across state lines. (Which they should be doing right now) Now some people will say that insurance companies will cheat people. There is a very simple answer. You sign a contract with the company, that contract spells out all the benefits in PLAIN ENGLISH, not legalese, and if they play games, then the government, federal or state, lands on them like a ton of bricks. We also need tort reform to get the lawyers out of the system.<\/p>\n One of the major reasons medical costs are so high is doctors ordering tests they really don\u2019t think are needed, but doing so to protect themselves from ambulance chasing shysters. Again, people will say that doctors who are incompetent need to be punished. Yes, they do. If they can\u2019t do the job, they need to lose their medical licenses. If you get one like Kermit Gosnell, they need to be dealt with in the harshest manner possible. For someone like him, Insurance providers should be immune and quacks that bad need to be utterly ruined. The insurance companies should only take care of anything that stripping the assets and transferring them to their victim doesn\u2019t cover. I would also get rid of the \u201cPain and suffering\u201d nonsense. All that should be covered is what it takes to make the person whole, or if that isn\u2019t possible, to take care of them as long as required.<\/p>\n Oh, the lawyers do NOT get contingency based fees. They will get a set rate and for frivolous cases, the loser and their attorney pays the costs of the court and the doctor they tried to railroad. Again, one of the major problems with the healthcare system is insurance companies settling frivolous cases instead of fighting them. Lawyers know this and will offer settlements that are less then the cost of going to trial. (The ethics of trial lawyers, or the lack there of is a post for another day)<\/p>\n Getting back to the Continuing Resolution, we are now seeing the attacks start coming from the Obama Steno Pool. They are already playing up one horror story after another, and are preparing to blame the Republicans for the shut down if it occurs. This is where they are going to get it wrong, just like the last time. If the government shuts down, it isn\u2019t going to affect most people. In fact, it will show that we don\u2019t need the government interfering with our lives. No one remembers what happened the last time.<\/p>\n The Republicans were scorched by the Mostly Stupid Media, and there was no real way for people to respond. The internet was just getting started, (Yes I know, it was around for much longer. Bear with me), and everyone got their information from the three networks and CNN. Their coverage was all about \u201cOh those evil Republicans! Look at all the bad things happening!\u201d<\/p>\n Actually, nothing bad did happen. Even the federal workers who were furloughed got back pay for not showing up. The Republicans actually did fairly well in the midterms, picking up a few seats. This time, if the government shuts down, I suspect a large percentage of the people will celebrate. The longer it is shut down, the more people will see just what a 10 ton weight the government has been. They might just decide that we don\u2019t need it as big as it is. This is what terrifies the Political Elite of both parties. If the people realize they aren\u2019t needed, they will start replacing the Statists with people dedicated to gutting the monster. Already the majority think the Federal Government is to big and needs to be reduced. How big a majority? How about 58%<\/a>?<\/p>\n Call your senator and tell them to back Cruz and strip out Obamacare funding.
