Many loose ends were tied up and Jack was last seen heading off into the sunset with the entire world after him. The whole concept of the show was Jack dealing with a terrorism incident in a 24 hour period. (Hence the name of the show \u201c24\u201d) When the series ended, there were a number of people upset with the ending and there had been talk of a movie or a miniseries. It was announced a little over a year ago that a miniseries was going to be made. Now it will be shown starting on May 5<sup>th<\/sup>. Here are the details from Fox News:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>The clock starts again May 5 for Jack Bauer as Fox unveils its reboot of \u201c24? with a two-hour premiere episode. \u201c24: Live Another Day\u201d will settle into its 9 p.m. Monday time period the following week for the rest of its 12-episode run. Fox is mounting a massive promo push for the return of the real-time drama thriller, the session for which will open Fox\u2019s portion of the Television Critics Assn. press tour on Monday.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I, for one will be setting up my DVR to record the entire series. We will once again see Jack show what a pussy \u201cBond, James Bond, 007\u201d is compared to Jack Bauer. Bond has all those fancy gizmos. All Jack had was an encrypted cell phone, Chloe O\u2019Brian handling his satellite feeds and intelligence needs and of course, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Rothco-Canvas-Classic-Messenger-Olive\/dp\/B001F4OKYM?keywords=B001F4OKYM&amp;qid=1660676406&amp;sr=8-1&amp;linkCode=ll1&amp;tag=angersentral&amp;linkId=03b19809be5990573586bf1e67cc404f&amp;language=en_US&amp;ref_=as_li_ss_tl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cJack Sack\u201d <\/a> which contained all his ammunition needs.
