Or lack thereof. I have been remiss in looking into the disaster that is Obama\u2019s foreign policy as have many others in the American blogosphere. Part of the reason is the sheer size of Il Douche\u2019s catastrophic domestic policies. The other reason is a general American trait to ignore the rest of the world.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

If Americans haven\u2019t been paying to much attention to the SCoaMF\u2019s foreign policy, the rest of the world has been. In a story in the Daily Beast, Sir Hew Strachan ((Sir Hew Francis Anthony Strachan<\/a>)) unloads on Der Fubar\u2019s utter incompetence in the field of foreign affairs.<\/p>\n

President Obama is \u201cchronically incapable\u201d of military strategy and falls far short of his predecessor George W. Bush, according to one of Britain\u2019s most senior military advisors.<\/p>\n

Sir Hew Strachan, an advisor to the Chief of the Defense Staff, told The Daily Beast that the United States and Britain were guilty of total strategic failure in Iraq and Afghanistan, and Obama\u2019s attempts to intervene on behalf of the Syrian rebels \u201chas left them in a far worse position than they were before.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This isn\u2019t damning by faint praise. This is saying that the current president of the United States is a flaming idiot. Barack Obama has done an incredible amount of damage to the credibility of the United States to the rest of the world. Even Jimmy Carter, considered by pretty much everyone, to be the worst president of the 20th<\/sup> century, wasn\u2019t as incompetent as Bumbling Barry and his brain dead advisers.<\/p>\n

Strachan, a current member of the Chief of the Defense Staff\u2019s Strategic Advisory Panel, cited the \u201ccrazy\u201d handling of the Syrian crisis as the most egregious example of a fundamental collapse in military planning that began in the aftermath of 9\/11. \u201cIf anything it\u2019s gone backwards instead of forwards, Obama seems to be almost chronically incapable of doing this. Bush may have had totally fanciful political objectives in terms of trying to fight a global War on Terror, which was inherently astrategic, but at least he had a clear sense of what he wanted to do in the world. Obama has no sense of what he wants to do in the world,\u201d he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Well now, that was a \u201ctwofer\u201d in complaining about American foreign policy. Now I agree that Bush and his policymakers screwed up by the numbers. He and his Neocon Ninnies were to busy thinking about \u201cNation building\u201d and not about actually destroying our enemies. We should have completed our mission in Afghanistan years ago and pulled out. Of course, completing the mission would have meant leaving nothing standing and a peaceful desert ((Carthaginian peace<\/a>)) where Afghanistan once was.<\/p>\n

As to Iraq? Again it was these stupid idiotic NeoCons who thought they could rebuild Iraq into an image of America. Those fools never understood, and still don\u2019t, that Muslim countries will never be Americanized. They have to be destroyed rendered a non-threat to us. With King Putt, things have been even worse. Barry the Bonehead hates America as do those he has surrounded himself with. He has taken two wars, that were all but won, and promptly lost them. Not only that, but these idiots almost got us into a civil war on the side of Al Qaeda in Syria. Thankfully, even with Senator John McCain pretty much committing treason, we managed to stay out of it.<\/p>\n

The dithering over intervention against President Bashar al-Assad has empowered the Syrian ruler, undermined America\u2019s military reputation and destabilized the Middle East, said Strachan. \u201cWhat he\u2019s done in talking about Red Lines in relation to Syria has actually devalued the deterrent effect of American military capability and it seems to me that creates an unstable situation, because if he were act it would surprise everybody,\u201d he said. \u201cI think the other issue is that in starting and stopping with Assad, he\u2019s left those who might be his natural allies in Syria with nowhere to go. He\u2019s increased the likelihood that if there is a change of regime in Syria that it will be an Islamic fundamentalist one.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

You can add Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan to those states. The only one that seems to have avoided going RIF is Egypt, no thanks to the SCoaMF. He and his secretaries of State, (Hillary \u201cBenghazi\u201d Clinton and John \u201cLiveshot\u201d Kerry), have both shown a level of incompetence in foreign matters not seen since the Appeasers handed most of Europe to Hitler and the Nazis prior to World War 2.<\/p>\n

Part of the problem, Strachan contends, is that politicians are unduly worried about allowing military leaders to give frank and open advice. He criticized the way General Stanley McCrystal was forced to resign after making unflattering remarks about his political bosses in Washington. \u201cThe concern about the military speaking out shows a lack of democratic and political maturity. We\u2019re not facing the danger of a military coup. The professional experts, who deal with war all the time, should be able to express their views all the time, openly and coherently, just as you would expect a doctor or a teacher to express their views coherently about how you run medical policy or teaching policy,\u201d he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Now here Strachan makes a mistake. McChrystal shot his mouth off to a reporter. Obama had no choice but to remove him. The same thing happened between Truman and Douglas MacArthur. Although in MacArthur\u2019s case, he was also trying to get us into a full blown war with China and the Soviet Union. In both cases, they generals violated what is known as \u201cGood order and Discipline.\u201d They forgot that they answer to civilian authority, not the other way around.<\/p>\n

Now it is true that Obama holds the military in utter contempt. He also has the mindset that at any time, the generals will decide to invite Barry and his Bong to a coup. Since Obama isn\u2019t an American in his way of thinking, (And this is NOT a Birther ((Barack Obama citizenship conspiracy theories<\/a>)) statement. Obama is legally entitled to the office if not morally…DAMN IT!), he does believe that the military will move against him and overthrow the elected government. He fails to understand the over 200 years of military tradition of the United States military. While they might make jokes about it, none of them would ever consider removing the elected government and installing a military dictatorship. Every single officer knows that those types of governments never work out.<\/p>\n

Winston Churchill held daily strategy meetings with his chairman of the Chiefs of Staff during the Second World War, which encouraged an open exchange of views. \u201cThe Churchill-Allan Brooke relationship was fraught at times but it worked because both were pretty frank with each other,\u201d Strachan said. \u201cSoldiers have a duty here as well\u2014if they just say, \u2018yes Mr. Prime Minister or Mr. President, we can give you exactly what you want,\u2019 then they\u2019re probably not being very honest.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Barack Obama is NO Winston Churchill. He is not even in the same league as George W. Bush. Obama is closer in mindset to Josef Stalin and Adolph Hitler. He thinks he is the smartest person in the room and that he is always right and anyone he disagrees with him is not only utterly wrong, but an outright threat to King Putt’s person. Since he doesn\u2019t like hearing from people who disagree with him, he puts people into positions of power in the administration who think just like him.<\/p>\n

We had to deal with Jimmy Carter\u2019s stupidity and incompetence for four years. It took Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush 12 long years to undue the damage. (Bush\u2019s domestic failings are another matter) With the damage done by Obama, and the fact that we don\u2019t seem to have another Reagan in the wings, it may be decades, if ever, before we restore America\u2019s place in the world.<\/p>\n

Americans have always wanted to be loved by the rest of the world. Of we can\u2019t be loved, we want to at least be liked. This is one of the reasons we waste so much money on foreign aid. In the coming 10-20 years, a new America might come out. One that, if not liked, us feared over what we might do to anyone who crosses us. That works for me.<\/p>\n
