Good day all. Do you remember how Pope Al Gore of the Church of Global Warming and Climate Change said that due to the Arctic Ice Cap melting away, that all the polar bears were drowning and that they would go extinct.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Hearings were held to look at putting them on the endangered species list as well as use the regulatory agencies to force people to stop generating CO2. Well, shortly after Pope Al Gore made his pronouncement, scientists who actually study polar bears went \u201cHey there, just hold on a minute!\u201d It seems that not only are polar bears not dying off, they\u2019ve actually increased in number and rather significantly. Now it\u2019s come out that scientists basically lied about the whole thing. Here are the details from the Daily Caller<\/a>:<\/p>\n

This may come as a shocker to some, but scientists are not always right \u2014 especially when under intense public pressure for answers.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

What? They aren\u2019t always right? How can that be? They have centuries of education and training!<\/p>\n

\n

Researchers with the IUCN Polar Bear Specialist Group (PBSG) recently admitted<\/a> to experienced zoologist and polar bear specialist Susan Crockford that the estimate given for the total number of polar bars in the Arctic was \u201csimply a qualified guess given to satisfy public demand.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

A \u201cQualified guess?\u201d Is that another way of saying \u201cWe just made it up so we could get more grant money?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n

Crockford has been critical of official polar bear population estimates because they fail to include five large subpopulations of polar bears. Due to the uncertainty of the populations in these areas, PBSG did not include them in their official estimate \u2014 but the polar bear group did include other subpopulation estimates.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\"PolarBearCartoon\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I see! Because it was to hard to actually go out and, you know, look and count the polar bears, you just ignored them. So, how many polar bears are there?<\/p>\n

\n

PBSG has for years said that global polar bear populations were between 20,000 and 25,000, but these estimates are likely much lower than how many polar bears are actually living in the world.<\/i><\/p>\n

\u201cBased on previous PBSG estimates and other research reports, it appears there are probably at least another 6,000 or so bears living in these regions and perhaps as many as 9,000 (or more) that are not included in any PBSG \u2018global population estimate,\u2019\u201d Crockford wrote on her blog<\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

I took a quick look at Ms. Crockford\u2019s blog. I would recommend paying it a visit. It looks like it\u2019s full of actual information and a nice healthy dose of snark. *grin*<\/p>\n

\u201cThese are guesses, to be sure, but they at least give a potential size,\u201d Crockford added.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

I think this Ms. Crockford\u2019s polite way of saying \u201cThese numbers are a crock of shit!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n

PBSG disclosed this information to Crockford ahead of the release of their Circumpolar Polar Bear Action Plan in which they intend to put a footnote explaining why their global population estimate is flawed.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

A footnote? Oh this should be good!<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cAs part of past status reports, the PBSG has traditionally estimated a range for the total number of polar bears in the circumpolar Arctic,\u201d PBSG says in its proposed footnote. \u201cSince 2005, this range has been 20-25,000. It is important to realize that this range never has been an estimate of total abundance in a scientific sense, but simply a qualified guess given to satisfy public demand.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

Translation: \u201cWe made it up to look good to the moonbats and other members of the Church of Global Warming.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is also important to note that even though we have scientifically valid estimates for a majority of the subpopulations, some are dated,\u201d PBSG continues. <\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Translation<\/b>: \u201cWe used the the numbers collected by renowned polar explorer Roald Amundsen ((Roald Engelbregt Gravning Amundsen<\/a>)). He is a famous explorer so his number have to be good, don\u2019t they?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cFurthermore, there are no abundance estimates for the Arctic Basin, East Greenland, and the Russian subpopulations.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Translation<\/b>: \u201cYeah, the Russians wouldn\u2019t let us in, so we threw darts at a wall to pick the number of polar bears in that region.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cConsequently, there is either no, or only rudimentary, knowledge to support guesses about the possible abundance of polar bears in approximately half the areas they occupy,\u201d says PBSG. \u201cThus, the range given for total global population should be viewed with great caution as it cannot be used to assess population trend over the long term.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Translation<\/b>: \u201cWe lied through our teeth.\u201d<\/p>\n

This is a really big story. For over 10 years, Al Gore and his disciples have been using the \u201cDrowning Polar Bear\u201d story to shake down people for money and to get the governments to destroy their economies. It hasn\u2019t been about \u201cSaving the Planet,\u201d it\u2019s been about enriching a few people, (Al Gore), and instituting totalitarian control of people. The only problem is that the facts keep getting in the way of their religion.<\/p>\n

Average People have caught on to what a load of horse dung Global Warming is. They have figured out that all it is designed to do is hurt the average person, transfer their money to the power elites, (More commonly known as Progressive Liberal Democrats), and to basically do away with democracy and institute the Progressive dream of \u201cRule by the Elite.\u201d In other words, they want to create a royal aristocracy in the United States. Sorry, but we had a little revolution about 238 years ago over that very thing. Obama might like to think he\u2019s the king, and the Progressive Liberal Elite might like to think they\u2019re counts, barons and dukes, but in the end they will be dealt with by the very people they want to rule. It won\u2019t be pleasant either ((See Madame Guillotine<\/a>)).<\/p>\n
