Good day all. Last Friday, the Internal Revenue Service came out with a doozy of an excuse regarding Lois Lerner\u2019s email. According to the IRS, all her emails prior to 2011 were lost when her computer crashed.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

That excuse is the bureaucratic version of \u201cThe dog ate my homework\u201d and is going to work about as well with Congress. Here are some of the details from Fox News<\/a>:<\/p>\n

The Internal Revenue Service told Congress Friday it has lost a trove of emails to and from Lois Lerner, a central figure in the agency’s Tea Party controversy, sparking outrage from congressional investigators who have been probing the agency for more than a year. The IRS said it cannot locate many of Lerner’s emails prior to 2011 because her computer crashed during the summer of that year.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

To which I say \u201cBOVINE DROPPINGS!\u201d There is no way the only copy of all the relevant email was sitting solely on Lerner\u2019s computer. I don\u2019t know what the IRS uses for an email system, but any business makes backup copies of all email. To say that all of Lerner\u2019s email was on her computer is a flat our lie. Most of Congress isn\u2019t buying the excuse either.<\/p>\n

Republican congressional leaders were incensed.<\/i><\/p>\n

“The fact that I am just learning about this, over a year into the investigation, is completely unacceptable and now calls into question the credibility of the IRS’s response to congressional inquiries,” said Rep. Dave Camp, R-Mich., chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee. “There needs to be an immediate investigation and forensic audit by Department of Justice as well as the inspector general.”<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Well you can forget about any Department Of InJustice investigation. I wouldn\u2019t be at all surprised if Holder sent over his personal Bulk Eraser for the IRS to use to destroy the evidence. As to the Inspectors General? Do we have any left who aren\u2019t in the tank for Obama?<\/p>\n

Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, said he was “greatly troubled” that the agency didn’t notify Congress when they first became aware of the computer problem.<\/i><\/p>\n

\u201cToday\u2019s admission by the IRS that they cannot produce Lois Lerner\u2019s emails is an outrageous impediment to our investigation,” Hatch said in a statement. “Even more egregious is the fact we are learning about this a full year after our initial request to provide the Committee with any and all documents relating to our investigation.”<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Finally catching on, aren\u2019t you Hatch old boy. The IRS is working to cover up the suppression of the TEA Party and conservative groups in 2012 and will do whatever it takes. By the way, have you received your IRS audit letter yet? The IRS continues to promise full disclosure of course.<\/p>\n

“The IRS is committed to working with Congress,” the IRS said in a statement. “The IRS has remained focused on being thorough and responding as quickly as possible to the wide-ranging requests from Congress while taking steps to protect underlying taxpayer information.”<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In other words, \u201cWe\u2019ll get around to your requests sometime in 2136.\u201d The Obama administration, along with their minions in Congress have done everything they can to obstruct the investigation. The reasons are simple. They have been the ones who have been using the IRS to attack and suppress their political enemies, primarily the TEA Party and other conservative groups. As long as Obama and Holder are in office, and the PLFD\u2019s control the Senate, we will never find out who issued the orders to go after these groups and people. I\u2019ll also wager that on the last day of the Obama Regime, Der Fubar will develop a cramp in his hand from all the signatures on the pardons he\u2019s going to have to hand out.<\/p>\n
