Good day all, with Obama\u2019s Declaring war on ISIS, or maybe not, this little gem may have slipped under the radar. It seems that the Department of Justice sort of accidentally confirmed that they are colluding with the House Democrats to block the investigation into the Internal Revenue Service.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve been paying any attention to the hearings, you\u2019ve probably noticed that Elijah Cummings<\/a> has been doing all he could to block the hearings in the House Oversight Committee. Well, someone at the DOJ pulled a real boner and called the committee looking for Cummings and accidentally reached a Republican staffer. Here are the amusing details from The Washington Times<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Darrell Issa<\/a>, the chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, said he knows for a fact the Department of Justice<\/a> tried to coordinate with Democrats to leak documents to the press \u2014 a Justice official mistakenly called his office to set the wheels in motion, he said. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\"double-facepalm\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t you just love the competence of the Obama Regime? Here they are, trying to coordinate a coverup and these morons call the very people they\u2019re trying to hide stuff from.<\/p>\n

The documents pertained to the committee<\/a>\u2019s investigation of the Internal Revenue Service and whether that agency targeted conservative and tea party groups that were seeking nonprofit status. Mr. Issa<\/a> has been trying to get to the bottom of the matter for months. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And if the Obama Regime has it\u2019s way, you will never find out the truth of the matter. Of course, when they actually help you by mistake…<\/p>\n

He said a Justice official just recently called the committee<\/a> and reached a member of Mr. Issa<\/a>\u2019s staff. But apparently, the Justice official didn\u2019t know he was speaking to a Republican, The Blaze reported. <\/i>The official \u201cthen asked the committee employee if the committee<\/a> would agree to release the material to selected reporters and thereby allow the department the opportunity to comment publicly on it,\u201d Mr. Issa<\/a> said in a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder, The Blaze reported. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Nice going numbnuts! So what are these documents anyway?<\/p>\n

The documents dealt with Andrew Strelka, a former IRS employee who now works at the Department of Justice<\/a> \u2014 and who is also involved in the investigation of the IRS. Republicans have said on several prior occasions that Mr. Strelka\u2019s involvement is a conflict of interest.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Conflict of interest? Nope, nothing to see here, this is just a coincidence, nothing more. Move along please. As you would expect, Issa\u2019s staff member asked for the documents. Much hilarity ensues.<\/p>\n

Mr. Issa<\/a> then said the staffer asked for the documents, and the Justice official put the telephone call on hold for a few minutes. When he returned to the phone, he seemed \u201caudibly shaken,\u201d and there was a sudden \u201cchange in plans,\u201d Mr. Issa<\/a> said, The Blaze reported. Suddenly, the Justice Department<\/a> didn\u2019t want to release the documents early any longer. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Oh, I expect those documents will be provided to the committee. Now that they know they exist and that they were trying to hand them over to the Democrats on the committee to use to aid in the coverups, a certain Attorney General can expect a baseball bat sized rectoscope<\/a> being inserted into his nether regions. Probably with a sledgehammer.<\/p>\n

Mr. Issa<\/a> called for Mr. Holder to respond to these charges by Sept. 15. <\/i>\u201cI am extremely troubled by this attempt to improperly coordinate the release of committee documents with the minority staff,\u201d Mr. Issa<\/a> said in the letter, The Blaze reported. \u201cThis effort to preemptively release incomplete and selectively chosen information undermines department\u2019s claims that it is responding in good faith.\u201d <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I wouldn\u2019t hold my breath if I were you Daryl. Holder will simply lie, deny and hide. I fully expect those documents are going to suffer an accidental shredding in fairly short order and that DOJ staffer is probably going to have a fatal car accident before he can be forced to testify. I expect nothing less from the Consigliere<\/a> of the Obama Crime Family.<\/p>\n
