Good day all. Once again, our Useless Leader, King Putt, has ruined a special day for someone. In this case, he wanted to play golf, (Big surprise), and forced a couple about to be married there to seek another venue.<\/p>\n

The bride and groom are both captains in the United States Army, so their ability to slam Der Fubar is, unfortunately, limited by the Uniform Code of Military Justice. (Can\u2019t badmouth the Golf Pro in Chief) The happy couple had arranged to be married on the golf course of the Marine Corps base when they were told to move. Here are the details from Bloomberg<\/a>:<\/p>\n

The golf course, located on the Marine Corps Base Hawaii, is a regular stop for Obama when he’s in the state, with the Ko\u2019olau Mountains framing the front nine and majestic views of Pacific coastline spanning the back nine. It’s also a favorite spot for Mallue, a golfing enthusiast.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

That description just sounds so romantic. I can see why they chose the location. However, there was always the chance of Presidential rain falling, and it did.<\/p>\n

Still, anyone planning an event at the course when the president may be in town is warned about the potential for last-minute shuffling, said Naile Brennan, manager of K Bay Catering, which was handling logistics for the wedding. Brennan said they had other sites ready to go, and the couple ended up choosing the lush, green lawn near the home of Colonel Eric Schaefer, the commanding officer of the base, which offers an elevated view near the 16th hole. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I\u2019m glad that the caterer was prepared in case Il Douche showed up and demanded to play through. Still, you have to wonder why that SCoaMF didn\u2019t cancel or just postpone his tee time.<\/p>\n

An administration spokesman referred questions about the day to the military base, and it’s not clear the White House would have been informed about the wedding in advance.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I don\u2019t believe for a second that someone in the White House wasn\u2019t aware there was a wedding scheduled. At the very least, the Secret Service would have known. Still, this is the Obama administration, where stupidity and incompetence are considered badges of honor. I can\u2019t help but think that if this had been a Republican president, he or she would have known about the wedding, or at least his people would have known and the President would have delayed his game. However, with the Obama White House, this is \u201cPar for the course\u201d for them. I wish the happy couple a long and joyous union.<\/p>\n
