The only problem was, they were nearly snowed out. Here are the hilarious details from the Daily Caller<\/a>:<\/p>\n

The \u201cGore effect<\/a>\u201d has struck again, this time forcing thousands of Canadian eco-activists to march through the snow over the weekend, rallying against global warming on a cold Quebec City day. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Globe and Mail reports<\/a> the \u201cAct On Climate Change\u201d march included \u201crepresentatives from First Nations, environmental activists and political groups\u201d who are trying to convince politicians to ban oil<\/span><\/span> sands extraction and prevent pipelines from being built to bring that oil to market.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Protesters dressed in red even marched in a formation that made a thermometer, meant to \u201csend a message about climate change,\u201d the Globe and Mail reported. If it were a real thermometer it would have shown temperatures at a chilly 44 degrees Fahrenheit by 4 p.m. \u2014 the high for the day. Most of the day, however, temperatures were lower with some wind chill and high humidity. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I looked at the picture on the Daily Caller site. I would recommend that you do as well. It seems mildly pornographic, although I’m sure that wasn’t what these knotheads intended. Still, moonbats like these are never ones to let the facts interfere with their religion.<\/p>\n

Almost all of it came from oil or coal, either directly or indirectly. Ok, these thundering herd of moonbats are now a threat to the human race and need to be dealt with, and it looks like mother nature is leading the way.<\/p>\n

But the \u201cGore effect\u201d may, once again, blunt environmentalists\u2019 message on global warming. The \u201cGore effect\u201d is when cold weather appears as activists protest global warming. These Canadian groups aren\u2019t the first to be hit by the \u201cGore effect\u201d this year. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Considering the shoveling I did this year, Gore must have moved into the area.<\/p>\n

Student protests against global warming planned<\/a> at Yale University were cancelled in February due to \u201cunfavorable weather conditions and other logistical issues,\u201d according to organizers.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yeah, things like blizzard conditions and sub-zero temperatures. Funny how those types of \u201cWeather conditions\u201d can put a real chill on global warming protests.<\/p>\n

The protests were meant to convince the school to divest its endowment of fossil fuels holdings \u2014 which the school <\/i>soundly rejected last year. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Of course they rejected it. They have a duty to make sure that endowment is fully funded. Currently, there is no market for unicorn fart generated rainbows. These cretins have done a lot of damage around the developed world in support of their religion. They are as fanatical as the Islamic suicide bombers. The only reason they don’t blow themselves up is cowardice and a lack of carbon credits.<\/p>\n

Hopefully, this nonsense will collapse and be buried under a snowdrift before to much longer. Otherwise, the states will need to start looking out for themselves and telling the Feds to go pound salt. Meanwhile, it’s about time to start thinking about snow shovels and other things I’ll need for the next snow storm to blow through. (Yeah, we’ve had major snow storms in May)<\/p>\n
