Good day all. I wrote yesterday<\/a> about Hillary Clinton’s appearance of selling her office as Secretary of State to the highest bidder, in this case, Russia. This was just the latest in the scandals that have been detonating around the Clintons over the last few years.<\/p>\n

Now there is a question coming up. Is there enough to put Hillary on trial? Well, a number of defense attorneys think there very well may be. Here are the details from Fox News:<\/p>\n

With a sitting Democratic senator recently indicted on federal bribery and corruption charges, top criminal defense lawyers in the nation\u2019s capital say Democratic presidential front runner Hillary Clinton could conceivably face similar scrutiny, amid mounting disclosures about the tangled finances of her family\u2019s philanthropic foundation.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

They are talking about recently indicted Senator Robert Menendez, (D-NJ), He has been accused of essentially the same thing as Hillary, but on a far smaller scale. Also, I don’t think Menendez took bribes from hostile foreign governments.<\/p>\n

The new book \u201cClinton Cash\u201d by Peter Schweizer, an investigative reporter affiliated with the right-leaning Hoover Institution, has unleashed a torrent of conflict-of-interest allegations relating to the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation and Hillary Clinton\u2019s own conduct during her tenure, from 2009 to 2013, as secretary of state.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

That book could be the deathnell of the Clinton Crime Family. The Clintons have a 30+ year history of greed and corruption going back to the Silver Zipper’s term as governor of Arkansas. What I don’t think they considered is that they might just drag Chelsea down with them. What’s different from all the other scandals involving the Clintons is this time, they don’t have the Mostly Stupid Media covering up for them.<\/p>\n

Particular scrutiny \u2013 by Fox News, the Washington Post, and the New York Times \u2013 has focused on why the State Department, under Clinton\u2019s leadership, green-lighted a foreign transaction that enriched major donors to the foundation while placing an estimated 20 percent of America\u2019s stockpile of uranium – the fissile material that can be used to make nuclear weapons -under the control of a Kremlin-backed Russian firm.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It was, moreover, shortly after the uranium deal went through that former President Bill Clinton nailed down a $500,000 fee for a speaking event in Moscow. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s certainly smoke there,\u201d said Caleb Burns, a partner at the Washington law firm Wiley Rein LLC, who has long experience handling financial and public integrity cases. \u201cThe question\u2019s going to be whether or not she took any official action in exchange for those donations. If she did, I think there is going to be a high, high likelihood of additional scrutiny, either from Capitol Hill or from the Department of Justice itself.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I can see Congress looking into this. The Department of InJustice? Not a chance.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf the facts suggest that there was a linkage between what Secretary Clinton did in her official capacity and the money that was coming into the Clinton Foundation,\u201d Burns said, \u201cthis would fall under 18 U.S.C. 201 as a potential bribery violation.\u201d <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The only problem will be getting the current Department of InJustice to actually investigate the Clintons. If you recall, Menendez was indicted right after he slammed Obama for caving in to the Iranians. The chances of that happening before a Republican President takes office are slim and none.<\/p>\n

The Clintons, at any rate, are veterans of this terrain. In addition to her husband becoming the first president to be impeached \u2013 and ultimately acquitted \u2013 in over a century, in 1996 Hillary Clinton became the First Lady to testify before a grand jury.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The only reason Slick Willy wasn’t convicted was due to the Democrats refusing to put country ahead of party. There is no question Bill Clinton was guilty as sin. And as for ethics. Don’t forget that Hillary Clinton was fired from the investigative committee looking into Impeaching Richard Nixon. One of the reasons she was fired was her lack of any ethics. Now, the world has changed and it’s beginning to look like the Democrats have had enough of the Clinton Crime Family. With any luck, they will all get to spend a decade or two in a nice federal penitentiary.<\/p>\n
