You would be mistaken. Here are the details of what they intend to do from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/local\/trafficandcommuting\/homeland-security-looking-for-leaker-of-report-on-airport-checkpoint-failures\/2015\/06\/09\/570ede22-0eb3-11e5-adec-e82f8395c032_story.html\" target=\"_blank\">Washington Post<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><i>The inspector general for the Department of Homeland Security said Tuesday that he is investigating the leak of classified information from an undercover operation in which investigators were able to slip through airport security with weapons and phony bombs more than 95 percent of the time. \u201cWe have started an investigation to determine where the leak was,\u201d Inspector General John Roth told the Senate Homeland Security Committee. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/headdesk.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-17445\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/headdesk-300x225.jpg?resize=300%2C225\" alt=\"headdesk\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/headdesk.jpg?resize=300%2C225&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/headdesk.jpg?w=449&amp;ssl=1 449w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><i>The information received widespread attention in the news media and on Capitol Hill. Roth told the panel that he had briefed top officials about his findings without the information leaking to the public. <\/i><i>\u201cI was as disturbed as anyone that this information got into the media,\u201d he said.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/holes.png\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-15902\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/holes-300x184.png?resize=300%2C184\" alt=\"holes\" width=\"300\" height=\"184\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/holes.png?resize=300%2C184&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/holes.png?w=363&amp;ssl=1 363w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In other words, they were going to do everything they could to bury the report on just how worthless the TSA is.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><i>He declined to discuss in Tuesday\u2019s public hearing any aspect of the investigation, in which auditors from his department were able to carry weapons or bomb-like material through airport-security checkpoints in 67 of 70 attempts this year. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Gee, I wonder why he declined to discuss this? Well, others were ready to discuss this fiasco.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cWhat we\u2019re doing clearly isn\u2019t working,\u201d said Chairman Ron Johnson (R-Wis.). \u201cWe need to think outside the box.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/captain_obvious.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-17187\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/captain_obvious-300x182.jpg?resize=300%2C182\" alt=\"captain_obvious\" width=\"300\" height=\"182\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/captain_obvious.jpg?resize=300%2C182&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/captain_obvious.jpg?w=370&amp;ssl=1 370w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><i>Acting TSA Administrator Melvin Carraway was forced from the job last week after reports of the airport-security issues became public.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Acting administrator? What happened to the last one? Probably moved on to a new career in the food services industry at the local <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dennys.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Denny&#8217;s<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><i>Former TSA head John S. Pistole said last week that some people assigned to test airport security might have had the upper hand because they were intimately familiar with checkpoint operations. He also said that unlike terrorists, intelligence-gathering networks don\u2019t alert the TSA of their planned operations. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I hate to be the one to break it to you, but those \u201cIntelligence Gathering Networks\u201d haven&#8217;t been doing to well of late. To busy spying on conservatives and Tea Party members don&#8217;t you know. By the way, would you bring me the Meat Lover&#8217;s Omelette with a cup of coffee, black, no sugar? Thanks.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><i>The hearing came five days after the release of an inspector general report that said the TSA did not identify 73 aviation industry workers whose links to terrorism should have raised suspicion. Those workers, who had badges that gave them access to secure airport areas, were not identified in the report, and the reasons they should have been flagged were not specified.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/man-with-head-in-the-ground.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10717\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/man-with-head-in-the-ground.jpg?resize=256%2C171\" alt=\"man with head in the ground\" width=\"256\" height=\"171\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/man-with-head-in-the-ground.jpg?w=256&amp;ssl=1 256w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/man-with-head-in-the-ground.jpg?resize=150%2C100&amp;ssl=1 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 256px) 100vw, 256px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I had forgotten that part of the report.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><i>The report said, however, that the TSA was \u201cgenerally effective in identifying credential holders with links to terrorism.\u201d It said the agency had revoked 58 airport badges since 2003 because of security concerns. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Let me guess. They checked the voter roles and all those Tea Party membership files the IRS demanded? Yep, that&#8217;s a great way to stop those \u201cCunning terrorists.\u201d And then we have the typical Progressive Liberal Democrat answer to everything. Throw more money at the problem.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><i>Although the TSA was not invited to participate in Tuesday\u2019s hearing, Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) spoke up on the agency\u2019s behalf. <\/i><i>\u201cAs we all sit and pound the desk and say how bad the TSA is, we have to remember that we keep cutting their money,\u201d McCaskill said.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/head_up_ass.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-17422\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/head_up_ass-266x300.jpg?resize=266%2C300\" alt=\"head_up_ass\" width=\"266\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/head_up_ass.jpg?resize=266%2C300&amp;ssl=1 266w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/angry.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/head_up_ass.jpg?w=350&amp;ssl=1 350w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 266px) 100vw, 266px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The solution is simple. Disband the TSA and contact out with the Israelis.
