This sort of story just brings forth the sarcastic in me. However, I must at least try, (and fail miserably), to be \u201cobjective.\u201d I shall start with the story from Fox News:<\/p>\n
Key leaders of Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula have been killed in recent weeks by well-timed CIA drone strikes so precise that they have stoked suspicions that rival terrorist organization ISIS is secretly leaking information to the U.S.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
And I will speak for the Obama Regime and categorically deny that we are getting targeting information from the leadership of ISIS. That the leadership was recently spotted having lunch with the CIA station chief in South Africa was simply a coincidence.<\/p>\n
The paranoia spreading within AQAP was fully exposed this week when the members of that branch of Al Qaeda\u2019s international organization publicly executed four men in Yemen who they accused of being \u201cspies\u201d for the U.S. and Saudi Arabia. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Nuts. Do you have any idea how hard it is to recruit good spies? Why I was just talking about this to a CIA recruiter friend of mine. He had just come back from Yemen and was complaining that now he had to find four new spies to replace the ones that were just executed. Good thing had had 9 more that haven’t been found yet.<\/p>\n
One man, identified as Human Al-Hamid, was hung crucifixion-style from a bridge after being accused of calling in the drone strike that killed a top AQAP leader last week.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Damn, we told him to be careful. Well at least they don’t know about his cousin. Oh, perhaps I shouldn’t have mentioned that?<\/p>\n
\u201cThe CIA\u2019s success has left AQAP both guessing and pointing fingers at how the organization\u2019s very careful leadership has been caught so off guard,\u201d said Veryan Khan, editorial director of the Florida-based Terrorism Research & Analysis Consortium. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201cIn order to complete its expansion dreams, the Islamic State either needs to win over core AQAP support or kill off its opposition letting the rest fold into its ranks. The Islamic State has the most to gain, offing of important AQAP leadership.\u201d <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
And again, I categorically deny that the CIA is talking to ISIS. Oh, excuse me, I see my friend \u201cJohn\u201d is talking to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Funny, I thought John was busy working on the CIA 4th<\/sup> of July company BBQ this year? I heard he was contracting out to the Aloha Snackbar for the catering.<\/p>\n
The rising body count has given rise to paranoia, say analysts. In late April AQAP-affiliated Twitter accounts openly discussed fears there are Islamic \u201cspies\u201d within AQAP, and hinted a group of AQAP members defected to the Islamic State and were providing intelligence to U.S. drone operations, Khan said.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Hmm, that might explain the sudden surge of hits to the CIA’s contact form recently. I hope these guys remember to clear their browser history and cache. And they should not have the CIA’s contact number, (703) 482-0623, on speed dial. I also have it on good authority that the CIA is not hacking mobile phones and personal computers of ISIS members and loading the contact information into their address books.<\/p>\n
Still, many are skeptical of the idea that ISIS would turn to the CIA to take out its enemy, or would even have the back channels established to do it.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
See? Fox News agrees with me. It’s silly to think that ISIS is calling up the CIA and telling them where to shoot Hellfire missiles.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf ISIS had had information on the precise whereabouts of AQAP leaders, would it also have made sense that Islamic State would have used that to initiate their own attacks and thereby not only claim expansion into Yemen, but also being responsible for killing AQAP leaders?\u201d asked Jasmine Opperman, a Cape Town, South Africa-based analyst with TRAC. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
You would think, but these days, outsourcing is all the rage, and eventually, you will run out of suicide bombers. Just look at how many they lose in training accidents each week.<\/p>\n
However, the fact that U.S. drone attacks could take out four AQAP leaders in Yemen in such a short time does indicate good intelligence, Opperman said. Meanwhile, the U.S. has had much less success targeting ISIS leadership, Khan said.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Well Duuh! Don’t forget that ISIS is just the \u201cJuvie League.\u201d Obama doesn’t consider them to be a threat. Why I heard he invited the senior members over for lunch and a goatbang at that new brothal<\/a> just the other day.<\/p>\n
Whether there is justification for AQAP to believe the four men, three unnamed, executed this week by the most torturous of means were really spies for ISIS, Saudi Arabia or the CIA, may never be fully publicly vetted. But if drone strikes continue to eliminate AQAP\u2019s leadership, the organization could continue its bloody purge, Khan said.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
And I will reiterate that there is no truth to the rumors that ISIS is calling the CIA with the addresses of the leadership of Al Qaeda. None at all. Why it’s ridiculous to even suggest it. Nope, the more I think of it, the more I realize how ridiculous the whole idea is. Can’t happen. Nope, it’s just the paranoid delusions of future worm food.<\/p>\n
