Over the last month, we have seen the rise of Progressive Fascism. This rise, in many ways, is similar to the rise of Nazism in the 20’s and 30’s in Germany. Unlike Germany, where the Nazi’s took to the streets, we’re seeing this movement taking place on collage campuses. Now polls of these students are showing they have no problem censoring anyone who \u201coffends\u201d them. Here are the details from the Washington Times<\/a>:<\/p>\n Forty percent of millennials support government censorship of speech offensive to minority groups, according to a survey released Friday. <\/i>The Pew Research Center found that millennials were the most likely of any age group to agree that government should have the authority to stop people from saying things that offend minorities, while Democrats were nearly twice as likely as Republicans to favor such bans.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n This should frighten all of you. These little Nazi’s, and that is exactly how they are acting, have no idea what will happen if they get their way. I’ll give you a few hints. The Soviet Gulags, the Nazi death camps, the killing fields of Cambodia.<\/p>\n The result comes amid a growing campus movement to ban \u201cmicroaggressions\u201d and create \u201csafe spaces\u201d free from statements deemed offensive to \u201cmarginalized\u201d groups, including racial, ethnic and LGBT minorities. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n These little snowflakes have no idea how the real world works. They are so \u201cConcerned\u201d over how they feel, that they have no problem suppressing anyone they disagree with, up to and including jailing people for speaking their minds. What’s making this even worse is that the collage administrators fully support these movements. Now, for some numbers:<\/p>\n Thirty-five percent of Democrats supported such bans as opposed to 18 percent of Republicans, along with 27 percent of those in \u201cGeneration X,\u201d ages 35-50, 24 percent of Baby Boomers, ages 51-69, and 21 percent of those 70 and older. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n I’m not at all surprised that Democrats are the largest group willing to suppress freedom of speech. I am disappointed at the numbers of \u201cRepublicans\u201d who support it. It just goes to show that stupidity crosses both party and age lines.<\/p>\n That still left majorities in all age groups who opposed allowing the government to ban offensive speech. Among millennials, 58 percent disagreed with giving such authority to the government, along with 60 percent of Democrats.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Thank God all isn’t lost.<\/p>\n \u201cThe debate over what kind of speech should be tolerated in public has become a major story around the globe in recent weeks \u2013 from racial issues on many U.S. college campuses to questions about speech laws in Europe in the wake of concerns about refugees from the Middle East and the terrorist attacks in Paris,\u201d said the Pew analysis.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Another thing we’ve been seeing, besides the kowtowing by university administrators, is the complete lack of any instincts for self preservation. These morons have been raised to hate the United States, a nation that has given them everything. That hatred is so deep that they are perfectly fine with Islamic terrorists coming in and slaughtering thousands. They are so bone deep stupid that they can’t see that they will be killed if the people they want to help, win.<\/p>\n Collages and Universities have always been places where people go to learn new ideas, as well as learn how some ideas are truly bad ones. Today, what we see on university campuses is outright suppression of any ideas that go against what the \u201cgroup\u201d agrees with. Professors and collage administrators, rather than teaching what the 1st<\/sup> Amendment says, (regarding freedom of speech), what it means and why it was written in the first place, instead are fully on board with tearing up the very thing that is protecting them.<\/p>\n While the polls say that these morons want Congress to have the ability to censor speech, there is no way they can give it without an actual amendment to the Constitution. I can safely say that any attempt to force one through is likely to be met with a deadly response. These losers, standing around chanting and on occasion, rioting, will be met by those who will defend their rights by all means necessary, including the use of lethal force.<\/p>\n We’re not there yet, although I am getting nervous. This nation is split in a way we haven’t seen since the 1850’s. While I doubt I have to remind most of the people, (all 6 of you), who read this site, far to many of today’s collage students and a fair number of collage professors and administrators do need reminding. The 1850’s and the political splits then led to the American Civil War.<\/p>\n It’s time to force these Precious Snowflakes to learn the reasons for the 1st<\/sup> Amendment and why, even if they disagree with what is being said, they need to defend the rights of those saying it.
