Good day all. It’s been a while since we heard anything from Alan Grayson<\/a>, Representative, (Allegedly), of Florida’s 9th<\/sup> District. I say allegedly because he represent himself and the Democrats, not his constituents. Now he’s decided that it would be a good idea to threaten Ted Cruz.<\/p>\n

Grayson is a well known embarrassment to both the House of Representatives and the state of Florida. He has a skin thinner than Obama’s and has a penchant for threatening anyone<\/a> who isn’t Alan Grayson. Now he’s decided that if Ted Cruz should win the Republican nomination for President, he’s going to sue to keep him off the ballot. Here are the details of his latest avoidance of sanity from The Washington Times<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Rep. Alan Grayson said Wednesday that he plans to file suit if Sen. Ted Cruz, who was born in Canada, wins the Republican presidential nomination. <\/i>Speaking with liberal Fox News radio host Alan Colmes, Mr. Grayson, a Florida Democrat, called the 2016 Republican presidential lineup \u201cappalling.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Of course it’s appalling to Grayson. They are Republicans after all, and they aren’t supporting everything that Grayson wants.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s resolved itself into this weird reality show. It\u2019s not \u2018The Biggest Loser\u2019 that they\u2019re choosing, it\u2019s \u2018The Biggest Bigot,\u2019\u201d he said. <\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Mr. Colmes asked if all of the GOP candidates are bigots. <\/i>\u201cWell show me one who represents the exception here,\u201d Mr. Grayson responded. \u201cIn a sense I guess Cruz is not technically that way, because he\u2019s technically not even an American.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201cWell, his mother was born here,\u201d Mr. Colmes replied, \u201cthough it\u2019s interesting to me that the people who had a problem with Obama\u2019s birth certificate don\u2019t have a problem with Ted Cruz who literally was born in another country. And he renounced his Canadian citizenry.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

An aside here. Senator Cruz had no idea that he had technical duel citizenship until a few years ago. Once he found out, he promptly renounced any claims to Canadian citizenship<\/a>. The thought that Cruz is Canadian is laughable. To begin with, he doesn’t have that well known Canadian speech impediment. The one where every sentence is ended with \u201cEh.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr. Grayson added, \u201cThe Constitution says natural-born Americans, so now we\u2019re counting Canadians as natural-born Americans? How does that work? I\u2019m waiting for the moment that he gets the nomination and then I will file that beautiful lawsuit saying that he\u2019s unqualified for the job because he\u2019s in eligible.\u201d<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If Grayson actually attempts to file this suit, it will be laughed out of court. Cruz’s mother was an American Citizen when he was born. His mother just happened to be in Canada when he made his entrance to the world stage. This situation was already covered with Senator John McCain. He was born in Panama in the Canal Zone. His parents were both American citizens. He just happened to be born outside the United States. Neither of his parents renounced their citizenship or became citizens of another country.<\/p>\n

Alan Grayson is a disgrace to the House of Representatives, to the citizens of Florida and to the legal profession. He was bounced out of office once before and only managed to get back in when his district was redrawn, favoring Democrats. I have one question for you Representative Grayson. Have you stopped beating your wife<\/a>?<\/p>\n
