Good day all. I’ve written about Jeb! Bush’s well financed plunge<\/a> in the polls previously. Now there is a story on just what this loser spent all his money on. Besides the 5 tons of junk mail he’s sent to me personally, it looks like Bush and his \u201cadvisers\u201d like to live high on the hog.<\/p>\n

While the majority of the money has gone to flyers, mailings and those annoying TV commercials we’ve all been zipping through, it also seems that Bush likes to spend his time campaigning like the Establishment RINO that he is. Here’s what he’s been spending his money on from Reuters via Yahoo News<\/a>:<\/p>\n

There were stays at boutique hotels featuring rooftop pools, private soirees at members-only, jacket-and-tie clubs and fundraisers at the Four Seasons, the St. Regis and the Mandarin Oriental. In the world of Jeb Bush, the campaign for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination has at times been a whirl of private planes and high-end affairs, according to the federal filings of Bush\u2019s campaign and his Super PAC, Right to Rise, which can raise unlimited funds for Bush as long as it does not coordinate directly with him. <\/b><\/p>\n

You know, this isn’t the way to win over the average voter. It shows them that they may be correct that Juan! Bush is totally out of touch with pretty much everyone.<\/p>\n

It is not unusual for U.S. presidential candidates to fly private or even sometimes stay in luxury hotels. <\/b><\/p>\n

Nope, it isn’t. Trump has no problem flying around in a private jet. Of course, he’s using his own money, and not the money from campaign donations to do this. That does make a difference to people.<\/p>\n

But some disgruntled donors say they are unhappy with Bush’s large outlays, which also include big spending on staff and tens of millions of dollars in ad buys. <\/b>Eleven of 16 major donors contacted by Reuters questioned whether it was money well spent, especially given how the one-time frontrunner has stumbled badly in the polls and is now facing questions about whether he should withdraw from the race.<\/b><\/p>\n

Now why would they be unhappy? Could it be due to Bush cratering in the polls? When Bush announced, he was at about 15 percent. Since then, he’s spent millions and managed to drop into single digits. Low single digits in some cases. Now consider how both Ted Cruz and Donald Trump have fared.<\/p>\n

In contrast to Bush, Senator Ted Cruz, who is running second in national polls of Republican voters, favors cheaper accommodation options like Holiday Inn and often flies on budget carriers, campaign finance filings through the third quarter show.<\/b><\/p>\n

This has some people thinking about how the two would actually govern if elected. Cruz spending as little as possible of other people\u2019s money, and Bush just throwing money around like it grows on trees. Hmm, That makes me wonder if Bush isn’t a Democrat. He loves spending other people’s money. Of course, the Bush campaign has it’s excuses.<\/p>\n

Several members of the Bush camp vigorously rejected the donor critiques. Bush spokeswoman Kristy Campbell said, \u201cWe are running a national campaign that is competing everywhere and we have made investments that have allowed us to do what serious campaigns must do to be competitive in the primary and general elections.” <\/b><\/p>\n

Excuses, excuses. I can’t think of anywhere Bush is competitive, except at the bottom of the polls. I think he’s doing a bit better than Huckabee, Christie and Santorum, but not by much.<\/p>\n

“There is no return on investment on the Bush ad buys, zero,\u201d said one high-dollar donor who asked not to be named, pointing to how the ads have done little, at least so far, to lift Bush in the polls or dent his opponents. <\/b><\/p>\n
