Dum dum dum, another one bites the dust! Greetings all. It was a rather busy day yesterday. We have yet another candidate on the Republican side \u201cSuspending his campaign.\u201d<\/p>\n

This time it’s Rand Paul and he will now do what he should have been doing all along, concentrating on winning reelection to his senate seat. When Rand Paul first came on the scene, it looked like the apple had rolled far away from the Ron Paul tree as it were. Rand Paul, while fairly libertarian, wasn’t demanding all the fantasy things that his father, Ron Paul wanted. However, once he was elected to the senate, he slowly started rolling back towards that tree.<\/p>\n

Normally, this wouldn’t be a problem, but then he decided to massage his ego and run for president. That’s when some of the stupider ideas from Ron Paul started appearing. Now that he has seen the writing on the wall, (In other words, his poll numbers), he has come to the conclusion that it’s time to lock in his senate seat. Hopefully, he hasn’t damaged himself in Kentucky and handed his seat back to a Progressive Liberal Fascist Democrat.
