Good day all. Earlier I wrote that Chris Christie was going to \u201csuspend his campaign. Now the news has come out that another Republican has announced an and for her run to the Oval Office.<\/p>\n

Carly Fiorina has, who finished 7th<\/sup> has thrown in the towel. She has called it a day. She has announced that she is \u201cSuspending her campaign.\u201d Here are some of the details from The Hill<\/a>:<\/p>\n

“While I suspend my candidacy today, I will continue to travel this country and fight for those Americans who refuse to settle for the way things are and a status quo that no longer works for them,” she said Wednesday in a statement<\/a> released by her campaign. <\/b><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Carly gave it a good run, and actually surprised a few pundits, but she had a major problem in her past. She ran Hewlet-Packard into the ground and was fired by the Board of Directors. She never really got past that, unfair as it was.<\/p>\n

She began the race with negligible name recognition and was instantly relegated to undercard debates. But a lauded performance in the August Fox News debate catapulted her onto the main stage and as high as second place in the polls in New Hampshire, before her candidacy fell back down to Earth.<\/p>\n
