The senators, at least those up for re-election, will be out of Washington, trying to hold on to their jobs. On top of all that, we have Barack Obama who, without a doubt, will appoint some moonbat who will promptly vote to revers things like the Heller decision, the Citizens United decision and force religious organizations to go against their teaching with regards to birth control and abortion. According to the Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman, Charles E. Grassley:

“The fact of the matter is that it’s been standard practice over the last nearly 80 years that Supreme Court nominees are not nominated and confirmed during a presidential election year,” Mr. Grassley said. “Given the huge divide in the country, and the fact that this president, above all others, has made no bones about his goal to use the courts to circumvent Congress and push through his own agenda, it only makes sense that we defer to the American people who will elect a new president to select the next Supreme Court justice.”

That pretty much ends any possibility, provided that the recent infusion of calcium into McConnell’s and Grassely’s spines lasts, of Obama putting another unqualified moonbat on the bench. Since the Republicans currently control the Senate, Harry Reid and the Democrats can go pound sand.

The Court is in session for 4 more months. There are a number of critical cases coming up, several that have been expedited. One of the cases is on immigration and Obama’s Amnesty by Executive Order. The lower courts have ruled against King Putt. If the court goes 4-4, then the lower court rulings remain in place and Obama’s executive amnesty program is dead.

I’ve been reading the responses by the Moonbats on the refusal by the Republican Senate to vet an Obama appointee. They are screaming that it is unprecedented, that we can’t have a vacancy and that we have many months to select a new justice. I find that interesting. I thought the Progressive Liberal Democrats were all but certain the next president will be Hillary Clinton. With a slight chance of it being Bernie Sanders. Are they actually worried that we might end up with a President Trump or a President Cruz?

Thatisall

~The Angry Webmaster~

[yasr_visitor_votes size=”medium”]

Good day all.
