Good day all. It\u2019s been a while since I\u2019ve done a \u201cStupid Criminal of the Week!\u201d post. Yesterday I came across this beauty out of Ohio. Someone has been robbing pharmacy\u2019s of late.<\/p>\n

\"Stupid<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Normally, I would have a name for you when I nominate a Stupid Criminal, unfortunately the police haven\u2019t identified or caught this criminal mastermind as yet. However, they do have a picture of him. So, what has this doer of things most evil been stealing? Oxycontin? Valium? Some other narcotic? Nope. He\u2019s stealing Rogaine.<\/p>\n

Here are the details from The Smoking Gun<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Ohio police are hunting for a bald suspect in connection with a series of Rogaine thefts. <\/b>According to cops, the middle-aged thief has boosted the popular hair loss treatment in repeated thefts at pharmacies, including a Walgreens in Mt. Healthy, a city 15 miles from Cincinnati.<\/b><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

During the $847 Mt. Healthy heist, the suspect also stole Prevagen, a \u201cbrain health supplement.\u201d <\/b><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Obviously, the supplement isn\u2019t working for this idiot.<\/p>\n

Police in neighboring Florence, Kentucky report that the suspect has stolen Rogaine from a CVS pharmacy and two Walgreens outlets in the city. Cops estimate that he is \u201cbelieved to be responsible for several thousand dollars worth of stolen merchandise.\u201d<\/b><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The police released surveillance pictures<\/a> of \u201cCaptain Chrome Dome\u201d in hope that he will be identified and captured. I will say this much, he doesn\u2019t look like your usual \u201cStupid Criminal of the Week\u201d nominee. He\u2019s reasonably dressed and looks very presentable. However, I don\u2019t think there is that much of a black market for Rogaine. I mean really, can you imagine walking down a dark street, and some guy in an overcoat goes \u201cPsst! Hey, wanna buy some Rogaine?\u201d<\/p>\n

So, this identity of this nominee for the Stupid Criminal of the Week isn\u2019t known yet, but shall be forever known as \u201cCaptain Chrome Dome.\u201d Perhaps he will steal some varnish and put a nice shine on his head to try and thwart the cameras in his next robbery.<\/p>\n
