After the New Years Islamic Rape party this year, the Germans finally decided they had enough of Merkel\u2019s open borders policies and demanded that she shut down any further admittance of these refugees.<\/p>\n
Merkel not only refused, she doubled down saying they would allow even more in and then turned loose the German legal system on the protestors. Yesterday was the first election since Merkel\u2019s policies took flower and from what I understand, her party was slammed at the polls. Here are some fo the details from Bloomberg<\/a>:<\/p>\n If you think Donald Trump has some outrageous ideas, wait until you meet Germany\u2019s AfD party.<\/b><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Well, that was a nice shot at Trump, who has nothing to do with the German political system. To continue…<\/p>\n The Alternative for Germany, to give the party its full name, has shaken up the country\u2019s consensus-driven politics with headline-grabbing policies that include telling Germans to have more children to avoid the need for immigration. Frauke Petry, the AfD\u2019s co-leader, has said that police must \u201cprevent illegal border crossings, using firearms if necessary.\u201d<\/b><\/p><\/blockquote>\n I can\u2019t speak to this bit about Germans having more children other than to say two things. First, Germany does have a demographics issue, since German women aren\u2019t having a lot of children, and second, this smacks a bit to much like the Nazi Lebensborn<\/a> program. Still, Germany.<\/p>\n Like Trump, her rhetoric hasn\u2019t damaged AfD support but rather struck a chord with those disgruntled with the establishment parties, in particular nabbing voters unhappy with Chancellor Angela Merkel\u2019s open-door policy for refugees. The party surged to record support in Sunday\u2019s regional elections, taking seats in all three states that voted and boosting its representation to half of Germany\u2019s 16 state assemblies. The AfD had its strongest showing in Saxony-Anhalt with 24.2 percent, making it the second-biggest party in the former communist eastern state, according to preliminary official results.<\/b><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Now, I will state for the record that I do not understand the German system. I believe it\u2019s some version of a parliamentary system, much like Great Britain\u2019s. I\u2019ll let those far better versed than I comment on it. In any case, these \u201cLower level\u201d elections, (I\u2019m thinking similar to our city and state elections up to and including Congress)<\/p>\n The rise of the AfD in Germany mirrors growing support for populist politicians such as National Front leader Marine Le Pen in France and Trump, who has called for banning Muslims from emigrating to the U.S.<\/b><\/p><\/blockquote>\n A slight correction. Trump has called for a pause on Muslims coming into the United States. Now, one of the reasons people around the world, are objecting not only to Islamic immigration, but other, low quality migrants is as simple as it it complex. First is assimilation.<\/p>\n These people being let in, or just storming across the borders, are not even trying to assimilate into the host country\u2019s culture. What\u2019s worse, these \u201cMigrants\u201d are demanding that everyone kowtow to their cultural systems. For Muslims, this means that Germans, and other European counties, should bow to Sharia Law.<\/p>\n The second, and arguably more complex issue is jobs. The ruling elites in Europe and America claim they can\u2019t find anyone to do the jobs that the \u201cMigrants\u201d will do. In the United States, this means both H1B visas and illegal aliens working for pennies. (At least the H1B visa holders are here legally, so they get paid more than the illegals, just not as much as an American or Permanent Resident Alien)<\/p>\n In reading the response of the Ruling elites in Germany, you find a remarkable similarity with the Republican Establishment in how they are seeing Donald Trump and the people who support him, and to a lesser extent, Ted Cruz. For instance, this is what the leader of the German AfD party said after the electoral victories:<\/p>\n \u201cWe have fundamental problems in Germany that led to this outcome,\u201d Frauke Petry said on broadcaster ARD Sunday to explain the party\u2019s surge. \u201cNow we want to force the other parties into a substantive debate.\u201d<\/b><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Hmm, that sound reasonable. She wants to discuss the problems Germany is facing, thanks to the current leadership. I don\u2019t see any threats here, just a desire to talk about the problems and find a solution. And the response from the ruling elites?<\/p>\n The German political establishment is having none of it, vowing instead to band together to keep the AfD out of government. Petry has responded by saying her party plans to take on an opposition role to push AfD policies in the face of what they see as a cartel of established politicians.<\/b><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Are the German elites trading talking points with the GOP(e)? I know from my reading that the AfD has been compared with Nazi\u2019s, just like Trump has been compared to Hitler. While I haven\u2019t been following German politics much, (Or at all), I don\u2019t see the people running that party taking their cue from Mein Kampf.<\/p>\n Oh sure, they will have their share of nutjobs and idiots, just as there have been a few KKK types trying to tie themselves to Trump. I know that Trump doesn\u2019t tolerate those scum, (No matter what the Mostly Stupid Media claims), and I suspect that the AfD leadership, along with the other like minded parties on the rest of Europe, won\u2019t tolerate neo-Nazi\u2019s causing problems in theirs.<\/p>\n I think we\u2019re beginning to see a global political shift in the winds, at least among the western nations. For decades, the Progressive Liberal\/Left have worked undermine western cultures and give the appearance of trying to create a \u201cOne World Government.\u201d They see no difference in the cultures of some of the most barbaric nations and their own.<\/p>\n Unfortunately for them, the \u201cHoi Polloi\u201d do see a difference and have grown tired of being ignored and in some cases, threatened by the people they elected to protect them. Now that the voters are starting to turn on them, they are in full panic mode, both in Europe and in the United States.
