A bunch of these whiny spoiled brats went the university and demanded that \u201cThings be done!\u201d about these horrific images intruding into their \u201csafe spaces. Instead of telling these jerks to grow up and get back to class, the administration caved in and promised to supply blankies and teddy bears.<\/p>\n
Well, that set off another round of assaults on the Social Justice Warriors of Emory University. Here are the details from The Daily Caller<\/a>:<\/p>\n Last week, a group of about 50 students at Emory University claimed that at an outbreak of pro-Donald Trump sidewalk chalk around campus was \u201ctriggering,\u201d racist and damaging to their psychological well-being. Emory president James Wagner then legitimized the complaints, describing words such as \u201cVote Trump\u201d and \u201cBuild the wall\u201d \u2014 chalked on cement \u2014 as \u201cperceived intimidation<\/a>.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n Like I said, a bunch of crybullies and special snowflakes along with a bunch of wimps running the university.<\/p>\n Over the weekend, students involved in Emory\u2019s Young Americans for Liberty chapter responded to the wailing and gnashing of teeth by the $59,444-per-year<\/a> private school\u2019s social justice warriors with a new, bigger, better political message in support of Trump, reports Inside Higher Ed<\/a>. <\/b><\/p>\n The newest chalking at Emory represents the Republican presidential front-runner in his trademark baseball cap. Scribbled on the cap is the slogan: \u201cMake Emory Great Again.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n [youtuber youtube=’http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Gbp_JQ7RxqM’]<\/p>\n Young Americans for Liberty also chalked other messages on campus on behalf of every other remaining Republican and Democratic presidential candidate. Some of the other chalk imagery also managed to make clever use of the other candidates\u2019 slogans. <\/b>Leaders of the limited-government-focused group said their multi-candidate campus chalking adventure is manifestly not intended to endorse any particular candidate.<\/b><\/p>\n Instead, the goal is to buck the growing national impression that Emory is full of ninnies who are afraid of temporary, mainstream political speech that can be instantly washed away with a bucket of water and a bit of scrubbing. <\/b><\/p>\n I\u2019m afraid it\u2019s to late to fix that impression. The University IS full of ninnies, both students and administration.<\/p>\n \u201cWe led this protest to affirm that Emory stands for freedom of speech and expression,\u201d Alex Reibman, a member of Emory\u2019s Young Americans for Liberty chapter, told Inside Higher Ed<\/a>. \u201cThis was about the right to chalk and the right to express opinions.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n And I\u2019m sure that Mr. Reibman will be brought up before the Administration\u2019s Kangaroo Court for intimidation, sexism, racism and anti-feelgoodism. He will have no means of defending himself and will be expelled. Think I\u2019m kidding? Here\u2019s the statement by the Student Government Association:<\/p>\n In a campus-wide email, Emory\u2019s Student Government Association (SGA) initially stated that \u201cwe do not endorse any particular candidate or political philosophy,\u201d but then proceeded to do exactly that by explicitly denouncing political messages on campus concerning principal themes related to an election which will occur later this year. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201c[B]y nature of the fact that for a significant portion of our student population, the messages represent particularly bigoted opinions, policies, and rhetoric directed at populations represented at Emory University, we would like to express our concern regarding the values espoused by the messages displayed, and our sympathy for the pain experienced by members of our community,\u201d the message said. <\/b><\/p>\n At least the Emory administration won\u2019t be going after the \u201cRacist, Sexist, Homophobic Cismales\u201d who have been busy chalking up a storm at Emory.<\/p>\n Emory officials have not pursued punishment for the person or people responsible for the original chalk work. <\/b><\/p>\n Probably after a quick meeting with the University legal department, who no doubt told them that Emory would be sued into oblivion if they did try and go after the \u201cMad Chalkers.\u201d However, there are quite a few who would like nothing better than to hang the chalkers from a lamp post.<\/p>\n An Emory official, campus life dean Ajay Nair, penned a lengthy essay for Inside Higher Ed<\/a> defending the students offended by free political expression. <\/b><\/p>\n Oh this should be good. Let\u2019s see what this moonbat has to say.<\/p>\n \u201cEmory students from many backgrounds work hard to make our community better for all by raising our social and political consciousness around the many pressing issues of social justice,\u201d Nair explains in his essay. Also, he says, writing on campus in washable chalk is illegal at Emory \u201cwithout reserving the space.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n Further, Nair suggests, expressing support for Trump on the fancypants Emory campus is hurtful because the \u201ccontroversial and often vitriolic nature of current political discourse is clearly painful for many people and especially difficult for groups that historically have been marginalized.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n Hurtful? What a pansy, but then what would you expect from a total wimp like this loser. Think I\u2019m exaggerating? Here\u2019s a small part of his \u201cWork\u201d from his biography.<\/p>\n His co-edited book, <\/b>Desi Rap: Hip-Hop in South Asian America<\/b><\/a><\/em>, focuses on the complexities of second-generation South Asian American identity. His current book project explores the current state of multiculturalism in higher education.<\/b><\/p>\n I looked up the \u201cbook\u201d on Amazon and yes, I linked to it. It\u2019s about as bad as you might expect. If this yoyo hadn\u2019t managed to scam a job as \u201cDean of Campus Life,\u201d (And fake jobs like this are one reason tuition costs are through the roof), he would be flipping hamburgers at McDonalds.<\/p>\n As you probably know, I\u2019m looking for a job. A number of places I\u2019ve applied to have said that one requirement is a bachelor\u2019s degree. The reason for this is that the American school system has become a complete joke. Collages used to be a place where kids went to get toughened up for the real world. Now it\u2019s just a glorified daycare center for spoiled brats who think the world revolves around them.
