Here are the details from the Free Beacon<\/a>:<\/p>\n Inflation-adjusted federal tax revenues hit a record $1.48 trillion for the first half of fiscal year 2016, but the federal government still ran a $461 billion deficit during that time, according to the latest monthly Treasury Department statement. <\/b>Treasury receipts include tax revenue from individual income taxes, corporate income taxes, social insurance and retirement taxes, unemployment insurance taxes, excise taxes, estate and gift taxes, customs duties, and other miscellaneous items. <\/b><\/p>\n With all that money coming in, the United States will still be some $500 billion in the hole. Why? Because the fools and idiots on Capitol Hill don\u2019t comprehend fiscal responsibility. For them, it\u2019s all about buying votes to keep their fat behinds in their seats in Congress. To top things off, Cankles Clinton has announced that she plans on raising taxes another $1 trillion dollars. In an article on the Americans for Tax Reform web site<\/a>:<\/p>\n During an interview with the editorial team of the New York Daily News, Hillary Clinton admitted her tax proposals will increase taxes on the American people by at least $1 trillion over the next ten years. Here is the key exchange from the meeting, according to a transcript<\/a> released by the Daily News: <\/b><\/p>\n Clinton<\/strong>: I have connected up my proposals for the kind of investments I want to make with the taxes that I think have to be raised. So on individual pieces of my agenda, I try to demonstrate clearly that I have a way for paying for paid family leave, for example, for debt-free tuition. So I would spend about $100 billion a year. And I think it’s affordable, and I think it’s a smart way to make investments, to go back to our economic discussion, that will contribute to growing the economy.<\/i><\/p>\n Now I’m well aware that this is a heavy lift. I understand that. Both of these fools claim they are going to \u201cTax the Rich.\u201d the problem is, the rich won\u2019t pay it. They\u2019ll just leave the country for cheaper countries and renounce their citizenship, which is already happening. The morons on both sides of the aisle can\u2019t grasp that there is a finite amount of money out there. Yes, we can grow the \u201cpie\u201d as it were, but not if they keep stealing the flour.<\/p>\n The United States does not have a tax receipts problem, we have an out of control spending problem. There is no way we can tax our way clear. It\u2019s been tried here and abroad and has failed every single time.
