This case, Fisher v University of Texas, was upheld 4-3 with Justice Kennedy once again having oatmeal instead of Wheaties for breakfast. Justice Elena Kagan sat out this decision due to a conflict of interest, otherwise she would have ruled in favor of supporting racism. This decision flies in the face of the Equal Protection clause of the Constitution. You know, where everyone is considered equal under the law? However, liberals don\u2019t believe in this and since liberals are half the Court, (with that idiot Kennedy), racism won the day. Here are some of the details from Fox News<\/a>:<\/p>\n The Supreme Court on Thursday upheld the use of race in college admissions for the University of Texas, rejecting a challenge brought by a white woman to the affirmative action program. The court ruled for the university in a tight, 4-3 decision, marking the second time the court has affirmed the use of race in the admissions process. The decision will make it easier for public universities to justify compelling reasons for a limited use of race criteria in admissions.<\/b><\/p>\n Well here\u2019s the problem. Caucasians and Asians are uniformly discriminated against by colleges. Caucasians for having \u201cWhite privilege\u201d and Asians for being smart. (Basically, for Asians, having a tradition of supporting education and learning)<\/p>\n The court had sidestepped the broader constitutional issues in a similar case three years ago, but on Thursday upheld the university policy as “lawful under the Equal Protection Clause.”<\/b><\/p>\n “[I]t remains an enduring challenge to our Nation\u2019s education system to reconcile the pursuit of diversity with the constitutional promise of equal treatment and dignity,” the majority opinion said.<\/b><\/p>\n Diversity? Oh! You mean trolling poor neighborhoods looking for kids with the \u201ccorrect\u201d skin color in order to make your classrooms look nice and progressive. Never mind that in those cases, the \u201cStudents of Color,\u201d (Do liberals still use that phrase? I never did), are the victims of other liberal programs and have been jammed into schools that were pretty much nothing more than teenage daycare centers. These kids usually flunk out because they can\u2019t keep up with the few Asian and Caucasians allowed in who came from better school systems. Also they had parents that actually gave a damn about their kids.<\/p>\n The university considers race among many factors in admitting the last quarter of incoming freshmen classes.<\/strong><\/p>\n First, it\u2019s time to end this garbage of differentiating people with different skin colors and different eye shapes as being of different races. We\u2019re all part of a single race, Human. Homo Sapien. The last time I checked, there were no other intelligent races on the planet. The differing skin tones and eye shapes are simply minor adaptions over the millennia to local conditions, nothing more.<\/p>\n Texas fills most of the freshman class by guaranteeing admission to students who graduate in the top 10 percent of their Texas high school class.<\/b><\/p>\n And that\u2019s the way it should be. You are selected based on your academic record, not because of skin tone, eye shape or gender. Well, the good news is not all of the Supreme Court justices are showing how bigoted and racist they are.<\/p>\n The court\u2019s three more conservative justices dissented. In his scathing dissent, Justice Samuel Alito called the program “discriminatory” and questioned how it could be upheld.<\/b><\/p>\n “Even though UT has never provided any coherent explanation for its asserted need to discriminate on the basis of race, and even though UT\u2019s position relies on a series of unsupported and noxious racial assumptions, the majority concludes that UT has met its heavy burden. This conclusion is remarkable\u2014and remarkably wrong,” he wrote.<\/b><\/p>\n Then we have that blithering idiot, Kennedy. (What is it with anyone with the last name of Kennedy? Is it something going back to ancient Ireland? Is the stupidity genetic?)<\/p>\n Justice Anthony Kennedy said in his majority opinion that the Texas plan complied with earlier court rulings allowing colleges to take account of race in pursuit of diversity on campus. <\/b><\/p>\n “Considerable deference is owed to a university in defining those intangible characteristics, like student body diversity, that are central to its identity and educational mission,” he wrote.<\/b><\/p>\n Spoken like the racist that he is. Personally, I\u2019ve had it with all this \u201cDiversification\u201d nonsense. Call it what it is. Flat out discrimination. Originally, it was Blacks, Women and Asians. Now it\u2019s Caucasians, with Asians still getting the short end of the stick. The Supreme court has show that it can\u2019t be trusted to uphold the Constitution any longer. it\u2019s time to start removing these dinosaurs. We have a mechanism for just this purpose.
