We know that \u201cAllegedly\u201d Hillary Clinton sold her office for donations to the Clinton Slush Fund<\/i><\/span> Foundation. Now it appears that there\u2019s some financial shenanigans going on with Ketchup Boy and his family\u2019s \u201cCharity\u201d as well. Here are some details from the Daily Caller<\/a>:<\/p>\n More than $9 million of Department of State money has been funneled through the Peace Corps to a nonprofit foundation started and run by Secretary of State John Kerry\u2019s daughter, documents obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation show. <\/b><\/p>\n The Department of State funded a Peace Corps program created by Dr. Vanessa Kerry and officials from both agencies, records show. The Peace Corps then awarded the money without competition to a nonprofit Kerry created for the program. <\/b><\/p>\n Did anyone consider just how bad this looks? It doesn\u2019t matter if it was all on the up and up, someone should have stood up and said \u201cHey, just a moment. This doesn\u2019t look so good.\u201d<\/p>\n Initially, the Peace Corps awarded Kerry\u2019s group \u2014 now called Seed Global Health \u2014 with a three-year contract<\/a> worth $2 million of State Department money on Sept. 10, 2012, documents show. Her father was then the chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, which oversees<\/a> both the Department of State and the Peace Corps. <\/b><\/p>\n Seed secured a four-year extension<\/a> in September 2015, again without competition. This time, the Peace Corps gave the nonprofit $6.4 million provided by the Department of State while John Kerry was secretary of state. <\/b><\/p>\n Seed also received almost $1 million from a modification to the first award, as well as from Department of State funds the group secured outside the Peace Corps. <\/b><\/p>\n So, just what does this \u201calleged\u201d charity actually claim to do?<\/p>\n The Peace Corps program \u2014 called the Global Health Service Partnership<\/a> (GHSP) \u2014 sends volunteer physicians and nurses to medical and nursing schools in Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda and Liberia, according to Seed\u2019s website. More than 40 clinical educators worked at 13 sites in the 2014-2015 program. <\/b><\/p>\n Sounds nice, however, I know of several long established groups that do the exact same thing. However, it looks like the \u201cFix was in.\u201d<\/p>\n Kerry and government officials colluded to launch the program and ensure that Seed would get the contract. <\/b><\/p>\n Such an interesting word, \u201cColluded\u201d. It has such an aroma of conspiracy to it.<\/p>\n \u201cVanessa, Buck, and Sarah are meeting with Ambassador Goosby<\/a> on the morning of 9\/16\/11 to discuss next steps for the GHSP,\u201d said a memo from September 16, 2011 \u2014 one year before Seed received its first award. \u201cConversations with OGAC leadership confirm that Ambassador Goosby is very supportive of the initial proposal.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n The memo was referring to Peace Corps Directors Buck Buckingham and Sarah Morgenthau and Ambassador Eric Goosby, who then headed the Office of the US Global AIDS Coordinator (OGAC) \u2014 the State Department office that later funded GHSP. A meeting one month later unveiled the strategy to send tax dollars to Seed. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cThe public funding to start the GHSP is secured<\/a>, it will come from OGAC through [Peace Corps] to support core HQ and field based activities, and to develop a sub-agreement to provide support to the foundation for contributions for their work in this partnership,\u201d minutes from a Nov. 18, 2011, meeting said. The \u201cfoundation\u201d refers to Seed, which was then called the Foundation for Global Health Service. <\/b><\/p>\n And here is \u201cThe Fix.\u201d<\/p>\n Officials in that meeting also assured Kerry that she would not have to compete with other groups for Department of State funds. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cBuck obtained clarity of the mechanism by which federal money will be provided to\u201d Seed, the minutes said. \u201cThe process can be fast tracked and non-competed<\/a> through a specific grant mechanism.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n And now we come to the Kerry\u2019s competing with the Clinton\u2019s in hiding the money.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the State Department buried its intent to transfer funds to the Peace Corps in its required congressional notification. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cThe GHSP is a smaller line item in a multi-page document with multi-million dollar programs,\u201d minutes from the November 2011 meeting said. <\/b><\/p>\n The article goes into details of how the State Department and the Kerry Slush Fund<\/i><\/span> Seed tried to justify all the little bureaucratic games they pulled. Now this might just be a completely above board and good organization, but the way they got their money stinks to high heaven. Worse, it\u2019s obvious that the Kerry\u2019s aren\u2019t as good as the Clinton\u2019s in covering up their misbehavior.
