First, I\u2019m glad no one was hurt. As much as I consider the entire Kardasian\/Jenner clan to be a total waste of oxygen, I don\u2019t want to see them physically harmed. Being ruined, or better yet, ignored and completely forgotten about, will suffice. Saying that, and acknowledging that I normally pay as little attention as possible to Kim and Kompany, all I will say is, welcome to the real world Kimmy. Now you can see how the \u201cother 99 percent\u201d lives. Here are a few details on what happened from Fox News<\/a>:<\/p>\n \u201cThis guy is always in my shot!\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n That\u2019s what Kim Kardashian captioned a photo she posted on Instagram Sunday featuring herself (of course) and her bodyguard, Pascal Duvier. <\/b><\/p>\n Just hours later, she was robbed at gunpoint in her Paris apartment of $10 million in jewelry and tied up in her bathroom by five masked gunmen. <\/b><\/p>\n Fat lot of good that bodyguard was. Losing $10 million in jewelry is going to hurt, especially when her insurance company gets done with her. I will say it could have been a lot worse for her. She could have been raped or killed. So where was everyone? Kim is a total narcissist and is forever getting in front of a camera in various stages of undress. It\u2019s surprising no one was around. Fox asks that question as well.<\/p>\n So where was Kardashian\u2019s security team, and, for that matter, the camera crew that follows her around day and night for \u201cKeeping Up With the Kardashians,\u201d when she was robbed?<\/strong><\/p>\n Duvier was photographed accompanying Kardashian\u2019s sisters Kourtney and Kendall at the Arc nightclub in Paris on Sunday night. Fox411’s request for comment regarding the whereabouts of her security detail was not immediately answered. <\/b><\/p>\n That makes sense if Kim was staying in for the night. That, in and of itself seems a bit unusual, but let\u2019s face facts. Kimmy isn\u2019t getting any younger and she is the mother of two children. (Go help us. She spawned) As for the production company crew and that security detail?<\/p>\n Her \u201cKeeping Up With the Kardashians\u201d crew probably had the night off. A reality TV producer told us, \u201cfrom a TV perspective, security is usually provided by the production during work hours, but the production isn\u2019t responsible for security when not working.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n Again, that makes sense, and Kim was safely locked away in her hotel room. So how did anyone know she was alone and unguarded?<\/p>\n Michael Levine, a police trial expert and former undercover DEA agent, said he thinks it was most likely orchestrated by someone close to the Kardashian team. <\/b><\/p>\n \u201cI would say, beyond a reasonable certainty, based on what the media has published about the exclusivity of where the crime took place, that this is an inside job,\u201d Levine told FOX411. \u201cThat someone with intimate knowledge of both the Kardashian-Wests’ habits as well as whatever security was involved at the mansion was directly responsible.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n That would be the obvious answer, and also the most likely one, which is why I would consider that to be not likely at all. The first thing the French Gendarmes are going to do is put everyone connected with the Kardashians and who had any knowledge of their security and what valuables they had with them under an electron microsope<\/a>. An anal probe by an Area 51 alien will seem like a gentle frisking in comparison. This is why I consider it unlikely that it was an inside job. That and it looks like the criminals were very professional.<\/p>\n \u201cThere is some possibility that Kim and\/or her husband were under surveillance in order to set up the crime; however, that is less likely due to the prevalence of security cameras pretty much wherever they were traveling,\u201d Levine added. \u201cMy best professional guess is that it was someone close to West\/Kardashian with a lot of intimate knowledge and the ability to make some criminal contacts in France.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n There are ways around security cameras, and if someone was watching her, it could have been a team. If that was the case, then you would have very little overlap for the cameras to see. And let\u2019s not forget the $10 million dollar payday. It doesn\u2019t help that the Kardashians are absolute publicity hounds and are very easy to track.<\/p>\n Kardashian\u2019s constant presence on social media could have also helped the perpetrators zero in, said Bruce Anderson, director of the cyber security company Cyber Intelligence & Investigations. \u201cAs far as Snapchat, Twitter, etc., it depends upon whether she has location services turned on or not as to whether she was leaking geolocation from that information,\u201d Anderson explained. <\/b><\/p>\n Oh I think it\u2019s a safe bet that she had her location services on. Somehow, I don\u2019t think she or her sisters has a clue on how to read a map.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is also possible if she showed a picture of her location. The other possibility is her phone could have been hacked. And the most likely is someone planned this robbery in advance, knew she was going to be at events in Paris, tailed her location, or utilized GPS trackers to track her to her location. There are lots of ways to get to information and track someone down. We do this all the time with suspects.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n I thought I read somewhere else that, along with the jewelry, the criminals also took her phone. If they had hacked it and put some sort of malware on it, this would be evidence that cold be used to track down the criminals. Take the phone, grab all the data on it and then turn it into metal confetti and that\u2019s another lead the police won\u2019t have.<\/p>\n Another question I have, and I\u2019m sure the insurance company along with the police will also have, is why were those jewels in her apartment and not locked in a bank safety deposit box? A home safe, unless you spend serious money, aren’t all that great. The criminals probably could have gotten it opened without two much trouble. If that was a problem, sticking a gun into Kimmy\u2019s mouth would give her a big incentive to open the safe for them.<\/p>\n Well, as I mentioned earlier, I\u2019m glad she wasn\u2019t hurt. Kardashian hopped a private plane as soon as the police were done with her and flew back to the States. Now it\u2019s in the hands of the police, and honestly, I doubt they will solve this one. It looks like the perpetrators knew what they were doing and took care to minimize any forensic evidence.
