Pity someone forgot to check in with Allah first. It seems that Allah decided he wanted to do a little skiing in Saudi Arabia, so he decided to break out the Holy Snow Cannon\u2019s and drop a few inches of the white stuff on Saudi Arabia. Here are some of the details from RT.com<\/a>:<\/p>\n It’s not every day that powdery snow covers the desert sand in Saudi Arabia \u2013 but that’s exactly what happened to parts of the country when temperatures dropped below freezing. Saudis are reacting with a healthy dose of humor, and even a few snowmen.<\/b><\/p>\n Excuse me? How is this possible? First, we have Global Warming<\/i><\/span> Climate Change, and then there is the issue of the Arabian peninsula being a large, hot and oil soaked desert. How could it possibly snow there?<\/p>\n The frigid temperatures and blanket of snow is an unexpected treat for Saudi Arabia’s central and northwest regions, which tend to see daily high temperatures of around 20\u00b0 C (68\u00b0 F), even in the November <\/b>“cold season.”<\/b><\/em> <\/b><\/p>\n That\u2019s cold to the Saudi\u2019s? Excuse me while I chuckle a bit.<\/p>\n [youtuber youtube=’http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Gbp_JQ7RxqM’]<\/p>\n Cold, yeah, right.<\/p>\n Some Saudis have taken to social media to express their thoughts on the winter surprise, with one man <\/b>“skiing”<\/b><\/em> on an icy road. <\/b><\/p>\n Well that was prescient of him to have skis, or was that Allah in disguise? He does so enjoy winter sports after all. However, there is a problem. You\u2019re typical Saudi driver, never that good at the best of times, generally isn\u2019t all that well prepared for things like snow, sleet and the ever so fun for drivers, black ice.<\/p>\n Perhaps unsurprisingly, Saudi drivers didn’t seem too confident on the slick streets, with one image showing a pile of cars pulled over on the side of the road. <\/b><\/p>\n Follow the link to the story<\/a> for the picture. The description, \u201cA pile of cars\u201d does seem to be appropriate, as in pile up. Rather then pulled over, these cars look like the drivers lost control and skidded off the road. I\u2019m sure it will be very entertaining for people looking to file insurance claims on damages.<\/p>\n Of course, this being Saudi Arabia, the usual suspects were not to happy with people enjoying themselves by making snowmen.<\/p>\n But while the building of snowmen may seem innocent enough, Saudis who took part in the activity during a freak snowfall in January 2015 were condemned by a cleric who called it sinful and <\/b>“anti-Islamic.”<\/b><\/em> He issued a fatwa (religious ruling) forbidding the activity.<\/b><\/p>\n Someone should introduce this idiot to the joys of the \u201cWhite Wash\u201d. After all, it was \u201cAllah\u2019s Will\u201d that it snowed and it was \u201cAllah\u2019s Will\u201d that \u201cThe Faithful\u201d, (Those who weren\u2019t out blowing themselves up or crashing planes into skyscrapers somewhere), have some fun. My guess is that Cleric was a paid up member of the Church of Global Warming<\/i><\/span> Climate Change, (Algore Akbar!
