Here are some of the details from Fox News<\/a>:<\/p>\n President-elect Donald Trump announced Thursday, (December 8th<\/sup> 2016), that he plans to nominate Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt \u2013 an outspoken critic of the EPA \u2013 to lead the environmental agency.<\/b><\/p>\n “For too long, the Environmental Protection Agency has spent taxpayer dollars on an out-of-control anti-energy agenda that has destroyed millions of jobs, while also undermining our incredible farmers and many other businesses and industries at every turn,” Trump said in a statement. “As my EPA Administrator, Scott Pruitt, the highly respected Attorney General from the state of Oklahoma, will reverse this trend and restore the EPA\u2019s essential mission of keeping our air and our water clean and safe.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n Pruitt, 48, has been a reliable booster of the fossil fuel industry and a critic of what he derides as the EPA’s “activist agenda.” <\/b><\/p>\n Representing his state as attorney general since 2011, Pruitt has repeatedly sued the EPA to roll back environmental regulations and other health protections. He joined with other Republican attorneys general in opposing the Clean Power Plan, which seeks to limit planet-warming carbon emissions from coal-fired power plants. Pruitt has argued that curbing carbon emissions would trample the sovereignty of state governments, drive up electricity rates, threaten the reliability of the nation’s power grid and “create economic havoc.” <\/b><\/p>\n The EPA, along with the Energy Department<\/a>, have wrecked havoc on our nations energy infrastructure. Most people don\u2019t know just how small a reserve we have for our power grids in the United States. Thanks to that SCoaMF<\/a>, Obama, and the Gaia worshiping religious fanatics in the EPA, the American energy grid is far to close to collapse. I won\u2019t bother going into all the technical details, but solar and wind power just won\u2019t provide the stable sources of electricity we need.<\/p>\n His installment, if confirmed, would mark a significant break with the current EPA approach toward global warming. <\/b><\/p>\n In an opinion article published earlier this year by National Review, Pruitt suggested the debate over global warming “is far from settled” and claimed “scientists continue to disagree about the degree and extent of global warming and its connection to the actions of mankind.”<\/b><\/p>\n The whole \u201cMan Made Global Warming\u201d deal has been nothing more than a blatant scam. Over the decades, we have seen proof of fraud, incompetence and outright lies. The anti-human environmental fanatics continue threatening anyone who disagrees with their religion, and continue to claim that \u201c97% of scientists agree\u201d with them. Now we have a nominee for the EPA who doesn\u2019t subscribe to that phony global warming\/climate change cult.<\/p>\n Pruitt sued the EPA over the agency’s recent expansion of water bodies regulated under the federal Clean Water Act.<\/b><\/p>\n “Respect for private property rights have allowed our nation to thrive, but with the recently finalized rule, farmers, ranchers, developers, industry and individual property owners will now be subject to the unpredictable, unsound and often byzantine regulatory regime of the EPA,” Pruitt said last year. <\/b><\/p>\n The goal of the \u201cGreenies\u201d is to drive all people off their property and return it to the \u201cPristine\u201d condition of 1000 years ago, over which they will be “In Charge”. They are also flat out communists and totalitarians with a deep seated genocidal bent. It didn\u2019t take long for the Moonbats to react either.<\/p>\n As word of Pruitt’s nomination spread Wednesday, environmental and liberal groups quickly responded with condemnation.<\/b><\/p>\n Public Citizen called him a “terrible choice,” saying in a statement: “Pruitt is cozy with the oil and gas industry and treats the EPA like an enemy.” <\/b><\/p>\n That\u2019s because the EPA IS the enemy.<\/p>\n Business leaders in his home state, however, lauded Pruitt’s selection, especially those in the oil and gas industry. <\/b><\/p>\n “Scott Pruitt is a businessman and public servant and understands the impact regulation and legislation have in the business world,” said Jeffrey McDougall, chairman of the Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association. “His appointment will put rational and reasonable regulation at the forefront.” <\/b><\/p>\n The Environmental Protection Agency has been out of control for decades. Previous Republican presidents did nothing to reign in their activities and the Democrats let the EPA bureaucrats collude with the radical environmentalists to go after anyone who didn\u2019t bow down to them. I applaud President-Elect Trump\u2019s choice and I hope that the goal is to rip the guts out of that agency.
