Here are the details from the Hill<\/a>:<\/p>\n House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Tuesday expressed strong doubts that Donald Trump<\/a> and the Republicans can pull off ObamaCare repeal. <\/b><\/p>\n Pelosi, who ushered the sweeping healthcare reform law through Congress in 2010, said internal GOP disagreements \u2014 combined with cost concerns surrounding the repeal effort \u2014 have a good chance of forcing Trump and the Republicans to balk. <\/b><\/p>\n “There’s division among the Republicans within their own ranks as to timing and substance,” Pelosi told a group of reporters gathered in her office in the Capitol. <\/b><\/p>\n “I don’t think they’re going to repeal the Affordable Care Act.”<\/b><\/p>\n [youtuber youtube=’http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Gbp_JQ7RxqM’]<\/p>\n Oh that\u2019s hilarious! She thinks that GOP is divided on repealing that stinking pile of feces she and the other Democrats rammed down America\u2019s throats? Why, pray tell, does she feelz this is the case?<\/p>\n The reason, Pelosi said, is not political but economic. The Republicans want to repeal the ObamaCare provision requiring almost everyone to obtain health insurance \u2014 the individual mandate \u2014 but many are also vowing to keep some of the law’s central benefits, like the stipulation that insurers cannot refuse coverage based on preexisting conditions.<\/b><\/p>\n Is that it? As I recall, Congress was looking into these issues prior to Pelosi and her tyrannical Moonbats taking over and jamming Obamacare, with not one single GOP vote, onto the backs of the taxpayers. I gather she forgot that she said \u201cWe need to pass the bill in order to see what\u2019s in the bill\u201d.<\/p>\n Pelosi said that strategy simply won’t work, because eliminating the mandate while keeping the benefits would shift the balance of insurance pools toward sicker people, causing premium costs to skyrocket.<\/b><\/p>\n “You can’t keep them. You can’t afford them, because the costs would be so astronomical,” she said.<\/b><\/p>\n Dear Dumbass. In case you haven\u2019t noticed, and knowing you, you probably haven\u2019t, costs for health insurance HAVE skyrocketed, all due to your \u201cAffordable Care Act\u201d. I will be forced to give up my health insurance soon because I can\u2019t afford the $800\/mo I\u2019m paying now.<\/p>\n Those extra costs on constituents, Pelosi predicted, will discourage the Republicans’ repeal effort much more than the threat that 20 million people newly insured under ObamaCare \u2014 many of them low-income people benefiting from the law’s Medicaid expansion \u2014 might lose coverage.<\/b><\/p>\n And now she comes up with that proven phony statistic of \u201c20 Million people\u201d now have insurance. No, it\u2019s more like 3-5 million people who now have insurance that didn\u2019t have it previously, for a number of reasons.<\/p>\n “The one thing … that I think the Republicans are more interested in \u2014 not the 20 million or whatever \u2014 are costs,” she said. “What are the costs going to be to their constituents?” <\/b><\/p>\n Pelosi is suffering under the delusion that she actually is relevant. The only reason she is still the minority leader is due to the Coastal Blue States backing her instead of a younger, far more intelligent Democrat who actually has a clue what\u2019s going on. He\u2019s also not suffering from Democrat Alzheimer\u2019s. You know, where you forget everything but who the biggest donors are?<\/p>\n Obamacare is going down and it\u2019s going down hard. It\u2019s already collapsing due to insurance companies bailing out of it, due to the mandated costs and the failure to force the young and healthy people to buy the mandated plans. The GOP has a number of ideas on how to scrap Obamacare and replace it with something that actually works. That is what scares the crap out of Pelosi and the Progressives.
