The worst president in the history of the United States. Obviously you are thinking “Oh here he goes again, banging on Obama.”

You might be right, but before we all jump to conclusions, lets run through the list of some really awful presidents.

We shall start with James Buchanan, the 15th president of the United States. Pres. Buchanan was a compromise candidate between the pro and anti-slavery groups. All he managed to do was lead the nation to the Civil War. Now historians consider him to the one of the worst, if not the worst president in U.S. History. Follow the link to the Wikipedia article about him.

The next president who can be considered one of the worst is James Earl Carter. Jimmah proved to be the most incompetent, inept and totally clueless presidents of the 20th century. I suspect that most of our readers either weren’t born when Carter was president or were to young to remember what a complete dolt he was. He hasn’t improved any since leaving office.

Jimmy Carter was concerned with Human Rights. Not a bad thing, but his idea was to go after the right wing dictatorships and totally ignore the communists. Thanks to Jimmah, we have this mess in the middle east and Iran to thank him for. Who can forget the 444 days of disgrace?

Unfortunately, to many have.

Here’s a short history lesson for you. Iran was ruled by the Shah. Not the worlds nicest person, but a hell of a lot better then the turds now running that loony bin. Back in 1978-79 the religions nuts decided to have a revolution and when the Shah wanted to take Ayatollah Khomeini for a ride into the desert and leave him, Jimmah and his Secretary of State, Zbigniew Brzezinski prevented him from saving his regime. The upshot of that was the fall of the Shah, the institution of a bloodthirsty Islamic regime and the taking of our embassy with the diplomats being held for over a year.

Carter was also a complete idiot when it came to the Soviet Union. Under his administration, communist regimes took over in a number of countries and there was a real chance that Mexico might have gone red. Carter finally realized that the Soviets were not nice people when they invaded Afghanistan. His answer? Boycott the Olympics and re-institute the registration for the draft. That’s the reason you have to go to the post office on your 18th birthday guys.

Domestically, Carter was a complete idiot. The only reason he became president was the disgust with Gerald Ford and the Republicans after the Nixon Administration. Carter ran for office as an outsider promising to clean things up and fix all our problems. (Gee, where have we heard this before?)

Carter had the support of the Main Stream Media, which back then was the only media around. You have to remember, there was no internet, no blogs and no cable TV. Three networks and several large newspapers pretty much controlled the whole thing.

Once Carter got in, he showed everyone just how good he was. We had a high inflation rate, high unemployment and interest rates that hit 21%. About the only thing he did right was decontrolling domestic petroleum prices to stimulate production. He also deregulated the airlines and trucking industries which gave us more competition and cheaper flights and more competition in the transportation industry.

He also massively increased the size of government and gave us the Energy Department. Towards the end of his presidency Carter gave what came to be known as the Malaise Speech. This pretty much finished him, (Along with all his other failures), and brought in Ronald Reagan. The final nail in the coffin was when the Boston Globe wrote an editorial titled “More Mush from the Wimp.”

Now, some people, (Well, to be honest, a hell of a lot of people), will name George Walker Bush as one of the worst presidents in history. Personally, while I have no use for him as president, and consider him to be a domestic disaster at least since his second term, it’s probably a bit to soon to formally judge him. Bush made a lot of mistakes, and frankly was very adept at shooting himself in the foot. Still, we’re going to have to wait a few decades to properly judge him. Personally, if it hadn’t been for the 9/11 attack, I think Bush would have been a one term president. (FYI, I developed a case of Bush Derangement Syndrome in 2006)

This brings us to the current president, Barack Hussein Obama. (Yes, you were right, I’m going to talk about him)

Obama is in the second year of his regime administration and things aren’t going so well. Obama has shown his complete contempt for the voters in this country by generally ignoring their wishes. For instance, the big one is Obamacare. This is essentially the nationalization of the health care system in this country. The people were dead set against it and spoke out loudly to their masters representatives in Congress.

Since the Democrats had essentially a filibuster proof majority, they pretty much ignored their slaves constituents. Well not quite. They actually lost their their filibuster proof majority with the death of Sen. Kennedy and the election of Scott Brown. Because of this they had to play some games to get it through.

Then there is the out of control spending. Obama and the Democrats have been spending money like drunken sailors. They have been claiming this was to prevent unemployment from going over 8%. Whoops! Last I looked, unemployment was around 9.5% and when counting those who have given up or those who can’t find full time jobs, the rate is closer to 20%.

On the foreign policy field, Obama has been sucking up to our enemies and insulting our friends. He has insulted the British, virtually abandoned the Israelis, bows to Arab and Muslim thugs and ineptly kisses the butt of Vladimir Putin. Obama is doing all he can to lose the war on terror, even to the point of denying that there IS any Islamic terrorism.

Domestically, Obama is showing his utter and complete contempt for the Constitution and the rule of law. To begin with, he ordered the CEO of General Motors to resign, then showed his contempt for contract law by screwing over investors who wanted GM and Chrysler to go into bankruptcy. Obama and his cronies instead threatened the investors and forced them to hand over their rights under the law. All this was done to protect the UAW.

Obama handed these companies billions in taxpayer funds that will probably never be repaid. Again, the taxpayers were utterly opposed to this, but Obama ignored them.

Obama has consistently lied to the American people. Back in 2008, Columnist Jim Geraghty wrote that Obama’s promises come with a shelf life. (Generally shorter then that of unrefrigerated milk)

There have been several terrorist attacks Man Caused Disasters caused by Radical Islamic Fundamentalists Lone nuts. Say what you will about Bush, (and you will), there were no attacks in the United States during the Bush Administration. Obama has promised to close the prison at Guantanamo Bay and transfer the “Men who case Disasters” to the United States. Fortunately that hasn’t happened yet and hopefully never will.

Obama promised that no taxes would be raised on anyone making less then $250,000USD. The first taxes passed to fund the disastrous Obamacare have already kicked in and aren’t being paid by the “Rich and Leftest.” In fact, the biggest tax hike in history will happen January 1, 2011 when the Bush Tax cuts expire. Considering the state of the economy, you can count on a massive increase in unemployment. Then there are all the other taxes that Obama would like to impose. A value Added Tax, Cap and Trade, (A tax on energy), and lately trial balloons have been floated on transaction taxes. (Basically every transaction will have a 1% tax on it)

Obama will probably be the most incompetent president in history. Where Carter was considered the most incompetent in the 20th century, even he pales in comparison to Obama. Let’s take a look at the current mess in the Gulf of Mexico.

On April 2th, 2010 the Deep Horizon oil drilling platform, run by British Petroleum, exploded causing a massive underwater oil blowout. Obama, rather then work to expedite both the sealing and clean up of the oil, went on vacation and played golf. In fact, not only has Obama’s response been inept, his administration has actually made things far worse.

The governors of the Gulf states have been trying to get various clean up systems working. Obama has actively prevented this from happening. The Environmental Protection Agency, which should be at the forefront of getting this cleaned up, has prevented measures to mitigate the disaster.

People are comparing Obama’s response top this disaster with Bush’s response to Hurricane Katrina. Bush has been blamed for the slow response, but people forget, (or ignore) the fact that he was limited in what he could do. Until he got the request for help from the State of Louisiana, he couldn’t send in relief supplies and equipment. Once he was able to get things started, relief came in by the ton.

One of the first things Bush did was sit on the Bureaucracy in order to get supplies into the disaster area. Obama? He has done nothing to stop these agencies from getting in the way.

All Obama has done is extort $20 billion from British Petroleum, threaten and insult the oil industry, order the shutdown of all oil drilling offshore and send bus loads of lawyers to the affected areas.

Oh and play lots of golf.

If you listen to a speech by Obama it almost never contains the words “we” or “us.” With Obama, it’s all “me.”

Anyone seeking the office of president has to be very self assured. Obama is not self assured, he is a narcissist bordering on being a megalomaniac. He literally doesn’t see other people. Everything that he considers good is his idea. When it goes wrong, he blames everyone else. He particularly will blame GW Bush and Republicans when things don’t go the way he expects.

Obama has built a cult of personality around himself. He never goes anyplace where there is the slightest possibility that a critic might show up. When he does hear someone question him, he attacks them and whines like a petulant child. Obama refuses to accept that anyone would disagree with him.

While doing some research for this post, I found this article written back in 2008 before the election. Titled “Understanding Obama: The Making of a Fuehrer” by Ali Sina, the article explains why Ali Sina considers Obama to be a very dangerous person. From the first Paragraph:

I was not impressed by Sen. Barack Obama after the first time I saw him. At first I was excited to see a black candidate. He looked youthful, spoke well, appeared to be confident – a wholesome presidential package. It is so instinctive for most people to want to see blacks succeed. It is as if all humanity is carrying a collective guilt for what the ancestors of blacks endured. However, despite my initial interest in him, I was soon put off, not just because of his shallowness but also because there was an air of haughtiness in his demeanor that was unsettling. His posture and his body language were louder than his empty words.

I would strongly recommend reading the article. The author has Obama pegged.

Obama is probably one of the most corrupt presidents in U.S. history. Not in the sense of taking bribes, more along the lines of politically corrupt like Nixon was. He uses and abuses his office to completely reshape the United States in ways the majority of people are against. His contempt for the history of the United States and the Constitution is obvious to anyone who cares to look.

Charles Krauthammer has referred to Obama as the “First Post American president”. Dr. Krauthammer is mistaken. Obama is the first Anti-American president. Obama did not grow up in the United States and feels no attachment to it. (I am not a birther and do believe that Obama was born in Hawaii…damn it!)

Obama thinks that this country has been wrong since the Revolution. He thinks the founders were wrong in the way the Constitution was written, he doesn’t believe in capitalism and believes that only the government, run by the elite, has the answers.

People have referred to Obama as a socialist. Personally I think he is a communist and is dedicated to making the United States into the new Soviet Union. (With himself as the Maximum Leader)

Ok, enough with the tin foil. 😉

Now the question. Is Obama the worst president in U.S. history? Right now, I would make him the second worst. Unlike Pres. Buchanan, he hasn’t managed to cause a civil war….yet.

So vote in our poll and tell us who you think is the worst president in United States History. Also please rate this post so we have an idea what you think.

Thank you

~The Angry Webmaster~

(5 votes, average: 1.00 out of 5)
Loading...

Who is the worst president in United States History?

Barack H.
